Pretty good Thai food for IE area. If you're from the area or familiar you should know there's limited tasty options worth trying. This place is worth trying. The cocktails were tasty and presentable. Food is a decent size and shareable. However, I must say they lack ingredients like for curry it was really watery and plain, it didn't have veggies like I would get from other restaurants, there were some chicken pieces and a few tiny bits of potato. The crab fried rice and beef pad see eww didn't have that much protein but it's alright since there's equal veggies mixed in. Chicken wings were good but I would pass on the egg rolls, it was gritty and dry in my opinion. Mango sticky rice is not bad, your typical dessert like other places. The wait for bigger parties can take some time on weekend or peak time since it's a small restaurant. We came here with pretty high expectations after hearing good things. I work near Redlands, so I was really hoping this could become a convenient go-to spot. I was here with my partner, who is Thai, and we're both very familiar with traditional Thai food--we've also been to Thailand multiple times. The food wasn't bad, but it just didn't hit the way we were hoping. The flavors felt more fusion than traditional, which just isn't really our thing when we're craving Thai food. We ordered the moo yang, and one of the pieces of pork had a big vein running straight through it, which was pretty off-putting and made it hard to eat. The Pad Thai was another miss for us--it had a really strong lemongrass flavor but was missing the tang of tamarind. The khao soi was another miss; instead of being a curry-based soup, it came out as a super thick, saucy noodle dish. Given all the hype, we left feeling kind of let down. To top it off, I ended up with a stomach ache later that night, which didn't help the overall experience. Ok first off this is a super cute restaurant in Downtown Redlands. The interior is a vibe. The servers are also insanely nice. Keep in mind, this place gets super busy. As we were leaving around 7:30p on a Thursday, there was a line out the door. Is it worth it? In my opinion, yes!! To start off I got the tom yum cocktail, sounds weird right? But was actually so good, there's definitely a kick so if you don't like your cocktails on the spicier side, get something else. My husband got their bourbon cocktail which was a twist on an old fashioned and he loved it. Our friends tried a variety of their other drinks and enjoyed them as well. For my veg friends, the red curry with tofu is SO good, I will definitely be back to try their other options. My husband got the chicken wings, which were highly recommended by our friends, and enjoyed them. If you eat meat, the chicken wings are a must! Went to this spot in Redlands for the first time a few weeks back with one of my Loas friends, who highly recommended it. It was around 6:30 on a Tuesday evening and wasn't too busy. Called in for it to go order on a Wednesday night in our order was ready in less than 15 minutes. The main reason behind choosing to eat here was the curry noodles! Only a few restaurants include the crunchy egg noodle with this specific dish and anytime I see it. I have to try it. Based on reviews, we also opted to get the drunken noodle with the fried pork belly. The flavor of the curry is incredibly delicious. Since our order was to go, all of the garnishes were on the side, which was nice because it allowed you to control how much of each you wanted. The noodles were stuck to the bottom so I had to use a knife to separate them and put them in the soup. If you've never had the crunchy egg noodles with this dish, it gives it a much needed texture change and also compliments the curry very well. My only wish for this dish was to have more of the crunchy egg noodle. The piece that they gave me was maybe 2 tablespoons worth of crunchy noodle. Our go to curry place gives us the equivalent of half a Ramen packet. The drunken noodles were tasty. My only wish is that we had an opportunity to try it fresh off the stove because the pork belly wasn't crunchy anymore, although it was still really flavorful. Portion size is a little bit on the smaller side and that might be because we took the order to go. wondering if takeout is less because of the container space and dine in is much more food. the food is bomb, the service is bomb, the decor and energy is bomb I will say though, that although their location isn't hidden, the font of their sign wasn't super clear so when I was there the first time, it was sort of hard to spot. FOOD I usually get their tom kha and red curry with skirt steak. Their food is traditional and modern at the same time! They also have options for spice levels which I appreciate because I get a mild or non spicy level and then ask for chili oil on the side to have with each bite (which I think is made in house because the little crunchies in the oil are like no other). The meat is always perfectly cooked and tender and the veggies are never mushy. The flavors in the dishes are amazing and I love that they have a happy hour menu for late night eaters like me. Only thing I wish they had was a combination seafood and meat option for their proteins. I would've loved to have my tom kha soup with some fish, mussels, chicken, and shrimp. But the chicken tom kha was delicious none the less. SERVICE Every employee that I encountered was super friendly and had great options and advice on what to order with which meats. They also checked up on my table multiple times to make sure our food was great. I really appreciate an attentive server I always say that their way the employees treat the guests are a reflection of how they are treated as employees; which seems to be great. The flavor profile felt off, though the spice was strong and good at the "very spicy" level, which was one tier below "Thai spicy". Deep-fried mushrooms 5/10 I had high hopes for these, but they were cold when served due to being thin and left out perhaps. Despite being oyster mushrooms, they felt very thin and dry.
