Hello this is a warning ladies, please do yourself a favor and don't go to this place. I had the worse experience in my life here. The owner of this place is the worst. When i called to see if TIna was available she told me "Yes she is in 30 minutes" which was a lie because when i showed up she told me Tina no longer worked there. She convinced me to let her do my nails, the first few steps were going great until she had a appointment showed up and she rushed through my nails and when i told her i wasn't happy she tried to blame me for something she did! She redid them with skipping so many steps, so i still wasn't happy. My nails looked terrible. It took her THREE tries for me to be some what happy. Went tonight for a pedicure right before closing, I asked them if I was too late and they were so sweet and kind enough to stay open late for me. They absolutely did not have to do that but the fact that they were so willing speaks volumes! On top of that they gave amazing service, offered free water and my pedicure turned out amazing. I try not to write bad reviews on small businesses anymore because I feel bad. But I feel like some things need to be addressed. It was my first and last time here today. I called an hour in advance to make an appointment for today (Sunday) afternoon and they said ok. Forgot to ask about the prices so that's my fault. We came in for a gel mani (for me) and a man's mani pedi (for bf, no polish lol).There was no other customer so they were able to help us right away. The lady, who I assume is the owner, was courteous and asked me if I already know what color I said yeah burgundy. I noticed the overall environment appeared clean HOWEVER they did not use a new set of tools on each customer which I felt so grossed out about. Praying I don't get an infection. Also no new towel laid out on the desk. Then she proceeded to help me take off my original polish by soaking my nails in acetone and buffing it with the Dremel. Super quick process then she started prepping my nails for the manicure. She works really fast like she was in a rush or something. Then 10 mins later someone walked in requesting for a gel dip. Then the lady started rushing even more. She was done within 30 mins and I've never had a manicure this fast, ever. The manicure was not perfect with some polish on my fingertip and some bubbles on a couple nails which I can overlook and pretend they're not there. She told me to go wash my hands I thought she was gonna give me a massage and lotion. When I finished washing my hands she already moved my purse to another chair and started working on the new customer. I was a little shocked because 1) no lotion or massage 2) she moved my personal belongings without asking. Ok whatever so I proceeded to go pay and this 30 min gel mani turned out to be $45 which is really high for this area. But it was my fault for not asking when I first called. And they said $2 for paying with credit card which was not posted anywhere in the store. So total we paid for $97 including one gel mani, one mani pedi with no polish (men), and $2. And $20 total tip (which I think we totally overpaid). Overall I think the nails turned out ok but I would not return for the following reasons: 1) high price 2) unsanitary. They did not use a new set of tools. The nail filer and buffer were obviously used with previous customers crumbs (yuck) on them. Did not put new towel on the working desk and my bare hands/wrists were touching directly on the desk 3) rushed through my service because a walk-in customer came in 4) moved my personal belongings without consent 5) no lotion or massage ???? I'm was going to give it 3 stars but because my service was so rushed. I'll just give it 2. when I walked it I asked one of the nail techs if they do toe nail reconstruction she said yes so I went along and sat down. I did a mani and pedi. But the lady working on me seemed like she was in a hurry and was trying to just get everything done quick with me. I had the deluxe with the hot stones and I got the hot stones for less then 5 mins the massage was also extremely short. She did not do what I asked for. A different lady charged me since I had both of them working on me regardless of the "quick and get out " service I got I left them both $10 tips. So in total I left $20 for them to split. Then the original lady that was working on me chased me down as I was driving. And told me you still owe $35 when, the other lady charged me $102. I didn't make a big deal I handed her the $35, then she said "TIP" I told her I already left the tip I left $20, 10 for you and 10 for her. She still waited there for me to give her more. So I was going to reverse my car and park and go back inside. And she said no no it's fine it's ok. So yea it's clear to say I will not be coming back. Why do I have to give this place a star?? They don't deserve 1 star... Far too generous. This was the first occasion where I didn't leave a tip, despite my usual practice of tipping generously at nail salons. With my usual nail salon closed, I decided to give Orchid Nails a try. I have never experienced a pedicure and acrylic nails session taking two and a half hours before. I entered Orchid Nails for my scheduled appointment and began with a pedicure. Overall, the pedicure was satisfactory, but the process felt excessively lengthy. Initially, I remained relatively calm until noticing that a customer who had arrived over half an hour after me was already being attended to. Bewilderment set in as I pondered why the nail technician hadn't begun working on my nails earlier. The situation escalated when the same technician proceeded to start this customer's pedicure. At this point, frustration overtook me, and I realized I might be stuck waiting for an excessively lengthy without a justified reason, given that a customer who arrived later than I did was inexplicably prioritized over me. Despite having my pedicure completed, I found myself waiting a considerable time before the nail technician began working on my nails. Without any explanation, I was moved from the cozy pedicure chair to a less comfortable desk chair, seemingly to make the technician more at ease. It was apparent that the technician's comfort took priority over mine, as there were no other clients present that necessitated the change. During my recent visit to the nail salon, I encountered a technician who operated at a surprisingly slow pace and exhibited a rather quirky demeanor. Throughout the session, she frequently apologized and giggled, which initially seemed like a cultural nuance. However, after the ninth or tenth apology, it became quite irritating. At this establishment, the nail polish was so diluted that the red shade I selected turned out to be pink. When I mentioned this, they informed me that they didn't have another bottle of the color I wanted, which forced me to choose a different color altogether. During the time my nails were curing, the technician inquired for the fourth time whether I was satisfied with the color. I responded, "You know I'm not pleased with the color, so stop asking." Without any prior notice, she then proceeded to walk behind me and begin massaging my shoulders. I had to ask her to stop. Had I not needed to catch a flight the next morning, I would have departed promptly after the pedicure. I'm generally not a fan of making absolute declarations, but I can confidently say that I will never return to Orchid Nails. read more

So disappointed, I went to get Gel X nails for the first time and had design on them which I was originally happy spending $72.00. However, I didn't know there wasn't supposed to be gaps in between the gel X nails and my natural nails. Gel X is supposed to last 2-3 weeks. Mine only lasted only 1 week then 1 nail popped out and two other nails were almost falling off. I have to go back to get them repaired and then one day after that another nail came off and 2 nails were loose. I don't have the time to keep coming back to get them repaired so I asked them to take them off and was charged $12.00. I won't be coming back watch a waste of $. read more
