Always exceptional! Mid-summer dinner did not disappoint with memorable dishes and drinks from start to finish.

I was recently in town for an event and met my local colleagues here for an absolutely AMAZING dinner! From the whimsical (and tasty) caesar salad martini to a truly spectacular array of food, this was an experience I'll remember for a long time. But before I get to the food, I want to mention how accommodating the restaurant was as our party size nearly doubled in the 24 hours leading up to the dinner. I was so grateful that they were able to make space for what ended up being a group of six of us. We were seated at their lovely, luxurious chef's table near the back, where we were able to settle in to their beautiful velvet seating and await the evening ahead. We started, of course, with cocktails. The bartender at my hotel, when I told her where I was having dinner, said the caesar salad martini was a must-try and that the CookHouse master of spirits, Gabe, was a true genius behind the bar. She wasn't wrong. The martini truly tasted exactly like a caesar salad, and was adorned with a crouton garnish to complete the effect. Then, we dove into appies. I'm pretty sure we ordered one of almost everything on the starter menu. I wish I could remember everything we ordered, but standouts included the octopus, steak tartare, and burrata & lobster toast. Next, it was time to order dinner. We shared several entrees, including their famous steak frites (which happened to be half price because we were there on a Wednesday!), soft-shell crab, and a spring paella. Even though we were full, we couldn't resist splitting a few desserts, including a fantastic house-made creme brulee, a ginormous slab of cheesecake, and some ice cream. Let's just say, they almost had to roll us out the door. As always with an over-the-top experience, the service is what truly put CookHouse into the 5+ star range. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuine. I absolutely cannot wait to return to Baltimore and try this beautiful spot again!

6:12 pm Sunny Breezy Saturday FOA . (First of all) Line outside the door anticipating the opening of Cookhouse as I was looking for a park. Come early and enjoy the sunlight coming through the windows. This swanky restaurant has so much character. I decided to sit at the bar and watch the food and drinks come out. The bartenders, full of smiles and dimples , are knowledgeable and very busy. A lot of Sticky Rice Cocktails were sliding from behind the bar. It is a fan favorite. I know because I tried Sticky Rice at a private event and it was delicious and in high demand. I opted for a low acid White wine , Bambino Bianco . Very tasty and I was tipsy . ( also I was on an empty stomach) The guy next to me was LIT. He and his girlfriend had several shots of PAISON ANCESTRAL. Cookhouse is popular . Do not come here thinking you will have a table . Ppl like to sit and talk and pretend they are in NY. Outside seating allows you to bring a dog with a big bone . There was one in the front of the line waiting for his chance to be seen here. I ordered the THERMIDOR CROQUETTES for the starter but never again. The filling should be in a seafood pot pie. Lobster was scarce and that tasty stock sauce was minimal. There was lots of fried dough, good but for $25 I want more filling. I was kinda jealous of the couple next to me because they had the Birria Empanadas and they were stuffed ! Dinner Plates were rolling out . Lots of APPS. Burrata Toast , Chili Lime Prawns, and the empanadas. The Wagyu Zabuton was my choice. A lot of ppl had that too. Both of the bartenders recommended it. It was a hit . Chef Kiss . Am I over selling this place ? Maybe . But come and see for yourself. They are in their best shape at opening time and the customer service. Is A1 . Again , a lot of neighborhood regulars . You will be in competition for a table . Come alone and sit at the bar for starters. Happy Eating & Happy Birthday to The Geminis It's our Seasonnnnnnn

Finallllly got a chance to check out CookHouse after watching the hype steadily grow, and I gotta say the hype is real. From a menu that changes weekly to incredible craft cocktails and absolute vibes (golden hour in Bolton Hill is truly dreamy), this place nails it. The truffle steak tartare might have changed my life. We really loved the burrata, and of course the proper smash burger (only available on Thursdays!) The espresso martini is a work of art. Will be back!!!!

We got here at 5:45 pm on a Wednesday to line up as this place opens at 6 and typically has a line as they don't take reservations. This was good as the line grew pretty quickly. This is also a cozier ambiance with limited outdoor seating and limited indoor seating. The service was okay, we kept having to remind the waitress about a couple of things. As for the food, the wings were my favorite. I think this menu wasn't as interesting for the entrees as they previously have been and with higher prices. I wish there were more creative dishes. My food was fine.

For unique and creative dishes and drinks - check out CookHouse! They have a changing menu so if you want the mango sticky rice cocktail, steak frites and wings - go before they are gone! This place is popular so I highly recommend going 15 min before it opens and lining up as they don't have a lot of space.

My first time here and definitely not last. I went with a small group so we tried a bunch of food but my favorite had to be the Reuben Burger. Jill was an AMAZING server, she was very attentive, patient, and friendly! I loved the atmosphere inside and the vibe of the whole restaurant. I can't wait to go back!

Such a hidden gem in the Bolton Hill neighborhood. This quaint restaurant is tucked on the corner of Bolton Street and offers a unique menu for cocktails and assorted menu items such as their amazing fall off the bone wings (not your average wing) and the delicious summer wedge, you will not be disappointed!!

Listen yall. This is the spot if you and your main thang just want a sexy drink and good food. This is an Intimate bar with a few seating options. My wife and I came during steak night where steak frites are $39 a person. My steak was cooked an excellent medium and the fries are seasoned well. Our drinks were absolutely amazing THIS DRINK I FORGOT THE NAME BUT GET IT!!!!!

1'31'2026 If HELL YEAH was an establishment!! We visited this location w another couple who LOVES this place!! They raved about the location, esthetic, and perfectly crafted beverages by Gabe (Bar Manager). Welp guess what? They were SPOT ON!! This place was a whole grown and sexy vibe. The décor was perfecto! Dim lights, modern decor, beautiful light fixtures. We had beverages on the menu, off the menu, etc. Each and every beverage was magical and the customer service by Gabe was great! Despite the bar seating being full, we felt like we were the only customers there w personalized service. My hunny and I will surely return for more beverages as well as try a few meals!! This place is a neighborhood gem !!

We came to Cookhouse on a Wednesday evening. It's half price wine bottles on Wednesdays. We knew we were going to have a wait. We had about an hour plus wait. During that time the hostess let us buy a bottle of cava to drink on one of the stand up tables. We were lucky it wasn't crazy hot out. Once we got seated we ordered the Cesar salad martini and the Piney. Both were very good. Loved the crouton in the martini! The outside area was nice but very close to others since the space is very limited both inside and outside. For food we got the burrata toast, summer wedge, and the truffle mushroom ragu. My husband and I had conflicting likes and dislikes. I loved the salad and ragu but he really liked the burrata. I will say if you are plant based there seemed to be only one option. But maybe I was incorrect. So check the menu before hand. But all in all good meal, a little wait, but flavors were good.

Cookhouse is definitely one of my favorite spots. The creativity of the chef and the bar always blows me away. My only complaint is I wish they opened at 5. The vibes are cozy and date nighty. I always love the beef tartare they have and burger night is yummy.

We had a delightful visit for our first full meal at Cookhouse, after coming once before for drinks (the Caesar salad martini really does taste like a Caesar salad). The fondue pumpkin was pretty wild, and once we figured out that we were supposed to eat the whole thing and not just scoop out the melted cheese, we enjoyed it. The proper French dip burger was incredible. The Wagyu beef really does make a difference, and it shone here. Service was excellent throughout the meal. We walked in (they don't take reservations) at about 7pm on a Thursday and were seated right away. The ambiance and decor are incredible. Can't wait to come back.

I met up with a friend here, with her husband and kids and my husband, and we had a great time. We didn't realize there would be live music, so it was a bit loud at first, but we got used to it. (The trumpet got a bit loud at times, but that's how such instruments can be!) My friend and I both got a cup of the crab chowder, which was tasty, if a bit weird-looking when the oil separated in it. I got a crab cake, and it didn't seem special compared to other crab cakes I've had, perhaps a bit dry too, but it was definitely fresh. I also went rogue and got a watermelon drink that was good enough where multiple would be dangerous! Everyone seemed to like their food, and my husband even tried clam strips and enjoyed them! I would like to file a formal complaint regarding my experience at the hotel cocktail bar…read more My friends and I visited the bar with the understanding that it was busy, and we were more than willing to be patient while the staff caught up with service. However, the bartender, Vicki, refused to accommodate us at all, despite our willingness to wait our turn. Rather than acknowledging us or offering an estimated wait time, we were simply turned away. What made the experience particularly disappointing was not the wait itself, but the lack of professionalism and hospitality. We were treated as though our business was not welcome, which is not the level of customer service I would expect from a hotel of this standard. As paying guests, we expected to be treated with courtesy and respect. If the bar was temporarily unable to serve additional customers, a polite explanation or request to wait would have been completely understandable. Instead, the bartender's, Vicki, refusal to accommodate us left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated. While I thoroughly enjoyed my hotel stay, this definitely put an off putting taste in my mouth toward customer service standards. I hope this matter will be reviewed so that future guests receive a more professional and courteous experience. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.
