****FRAUD ALERT**** DO NOT USE THEM, I've never experienced worse service then i did here. They ask you to provide insurance info 3 days before visit or they will cancel. I sent mine, my daughter went in they tried to tell me every filling and root cancel she has ever had has failed and they need to redo all of it, phase 1 would be $8k, i said ok send me the breakdown, they did and we scheduled a few appointments, I was told my daughter needed a cleaning first they said they cleared the insurance it was 100% covered since she had one 7 months ago. They emailed me a breakdown of all the treatments which showed the cleaning was $0. I dropped my daughter off and once she was there they called demanding $140, i was confused and said its covered she said it wasn't so i said i have the email saying it is, she said oh i do see that and put me on hold and came back and said well the insurance doesn't cover this because she had it done 7 months ago so i need you to pay NOW. TOTAL bait and switch! I was fine to pay the $8K but I'm not paying a penny to a company who claims its free over and over then when they get you in the seat its oh we were wrong you owe now, not even a sorry! When i said i wasn't paying they stopped her exam in the middle of it and told her to go. I've never been so offended in my life! I've reported them for fraud! read more

Mr Dr John is really really MEAN. He has HIDDEN charge from my bill, at first my first examine could be free, I know it's impossible but he LIED, then he said would be 100 more, When I goto front desk, my bill is $200 more~!!! I discussed with him the bill and He looked unhappy and angry, it seemed to belittle his Dignity and Crown. He seems doesn't like me and in return I don't like to pay my balance first after it changed three times. DON'T COME HERE, NOT RECOMMEND. He abrupt, cut you off in mid-sentence, and just plain disrespectful. And also the chairs are pretty old and incompact, I am afraid to fall from chair. Btw, the ground is not so clean when I went there, waterlogging and I found a dead bug under the chair. NAUSEOUS. When I make a schedule, the telephone line is busy, always busy. And they couldn't explain details deeply and easily to let me understand. read more

I've had a lot of dental work done over the past few decades and recently moved to the Eugene area. Needing a new crown, I found OFD through Yelp. As other reviewers have said, Dr. Park has excellent dentistry skills and chair side manner. I was surprised at how painless even the initial shots of Novacaine were. Any and all questions I had were fully explained. Two additional features that make OFD a five star business are the facility design and the support staff. When you walk into the office, you walk into a very relaxing, homey, and light filled waiting area with an adjacent, easy to observe kiddie area. But the treatment area is where the thoughtful design really works. Unlike other dental offices with little rooms or cubicles, this treatment area has roomy cubicles with a very high ceiling and huge windows across the length of the building, letting in tons of light, but the outside landscaping provides privacy. The space naturally makes you feel very relaxed and non-stressed. Everyone seems to genuinely like each other and work together very well. No matter how good a doctor is, if his front office sucks, it will affect his business and piss me off, so I pay extra attention to the service I get in front office. I am happy to say that Dr. Park's front office is efficient, friendly, and well managed. His back office staff is equally professional! To me, oral health is critical to overall health and I consider my dentist as essential as a family physician. I am so happy to have lucked out and found OFD! read more

Dr Park is a great dentist. He's very smart thorough and gentle. He IS the best dentist I've ever seen and made the experience excellent. His hygienist were also really great. HOWEVER I would give this a one star if it were based on his front desk staff. They are rude and over the top with payments. They will treat you like a low life if their insurance estimates wrong and creates an unknown balance for you ONCE, even if you pay it once you find out and have gone there years and years with paying in full (and that one time you thought you were paid in full)! Then they will tell you that you every time you get a service there, you now have to pay your cost plus the insurance cost, and they'll refund you insurance cost once it processed, to make sure the insurance processes. You can pay both costs which will be like $800+ or more each visit, then get a refund. But the front desk staff will remind you each time this is because you delayed payment (as if you did it on purpose). No amount of time or always satisfying your account will change this. For me, after a while this just got annoying. I'd rather go somewhere new where they don't treat you like scum for something you didn't do on purpose. read more

It's a dentist... Just gone for cleanings and a few fillings. Dr. Park is gentle and nice, but I've only had him do a few fillings. The value of a dentist is probably measured in more invasive work and emergencies perhaps. One of the hygienists takes care of my cleanings and it is fine, no complaints. The office environment is super cush and relaxing. I've had mediocre experiences dealing with scheduling-- tied up phone lines, and dentist wasn't available when I went for my check up and they wanted me to come back-- grrr. The other thing that prevents me from giving it a 4th star is that on two occasions, they've scheduled me with other dentists who are not Dr. Park without telling me, which kind of irks me. I don't want to see a dentist I don't know anything about without being notified! They are closed on Mondays and don't have any evening hours. read more

Dr. Park is amazing! He is very confident & professional, at the same time he is SO gentle and caring. When he gives you shots you never see the needle and barely feel a thing! He always makes sure you are numb which I can't say about other dentists/oral surgeons I've been to. I don't have anxiety before going to see Dr. Park which if you know me says a lot about how great he is! The hygienists at Oregon family dental are also the best!!! Heather is very knowledgeable, genuine and has great conversations! I'm also not sure if Leigh still works here but she is great as well! The ladies at the front desk make it very easy to schedule, know a lot about the services and are very nice and accommodating! Anyways.. Oregon Family Dental has the total package if you're looking for a new dentist in Eugene! They always provide you with high quality work! I highly recommend going to see Dr. Park and his team, you will not be disappointed! read more

Im not one who usually writes reviews but i have to say after many years of going to different dental places and going thru a lot dental work like root canals, crowns, fillings and all i have to say i finally found a dentist who im not afraid to go to and get some dental work done! He is super gentle and his work is amazing. Dr. John Park, thank you for taking the fear of going to the dentist away from me! Also i have to thank all the staff because they are super friendly and always do such a great job in reminding me when i have an apt coming up! Dr. John Park has a very nice and compassionate personality. His quiet confidence assures you that you'll be taken care of. His dental hygienists are also very nice, very capable at what they do. This is a winning combination for anybody who is nervous or hesitant about their dental care treatment. I wish I could say the same for his front-desk and finance staff. They are abrupt, cut you off in mid-sentence, and just plain disrespectful. I don't know what history they've got with their clientele but they sure treat them like criminals who won't pay. I myself always paid my patient balance with them way ahead of time so I know it can't be for that reason with me. Maybe they just don't like the way I look. I'd go back here but I shudder at the thought of speaking and dealing with these dreaded front-desk and financial staff harpies, regardless of how great Dr. Park and his hygienists happen to be. read more

Started seeing Dr. Park and his excellent staff yesterday. I have had a lot of dental work done in the past and am new to the area. Having been to 5 dentists in the last two years, I can honestly state that the initial exam I had yesterday was the most thorough and comfortable I have ever had. No pain in the dentist chair when measuring my gums for the first time. He has a gentle way about him. His staff was great too. I was able to schedule what I need and costs were explained to me upfront. My husband was impressed too. read more

Dr. Park and the hygienists are wonderful. They are very fast, yet thorough. They do a great job educating patients and the service is timely. I've never had to sit in the waiting room for more than 5 minutes. I wish their front desk staff was the same quality as the rest of the staff. I was told, "I don't have time for you" as I was trying to schedule another appointment. She also is discouraged me from making an appointment for another family member...weird. She was too lazy to make change for a cash payment and insisted on crediting my account .40. I've seen this particular receptionist making obvious drama with her co-workers, crying and taking selfies in the waiting room with several patients around. It was awkward for all of us. It's worth dealing with the receptionist to get to the staff though. read more

Doc Park has the best staff ever. Every time I go in, the greet me by name. They're all efficient, friendly, and very competent. Doc Park himself is one busy guy, but the efficiency of his staff maximizes the use of his time. I've gone in for many different procedures including cleanings, extractions, fitting for a partial, and buoying up an anchor tooth to stave off full dentures. They know I'm a self-pay, and have made every effort to keep my visits affordable. I started with OFD because it was close to home. I've stayed with them because the service is great. read more

I just had my first visit with Dr. Park and his staff and I was very pleased with the entire experience! I hadn't been to a dentist for a very long time and the entire staff made me feel very comfortable. Heather did a great job taking my X-rays and was very patient while doing her job. Dr. Park was very nice and explained exactly what he was doing and what still needs to be done. I didn't feel like he was rushing through the exam and he answered all my questions.
