Ordering is easy & quick. Food came out fairly quick as well. I ordered the combo A which comes with 2 sushi cups of your choice + edamame & CA roll. I also got the chicken karaage. The value of the combo A box was fairly priced $20. I opted for the hamachi cup & salmon cup. My only complaint is they have this prepped ahead of time and placed in the fridge so the rice is chilled & starting to get a bit crunchy. Overall, not too bad for a quick grab/go type. The chicken karaage was delicious.

I didn't know about this until some time back, but Orenchi popped up in the food hall of Los Altos's downtown area. There's also sushi. Originally, I had a hard time deciding if I wanted a Japanese or French dinner because it's technically on our side as of this typing still (not the case for the Japanese) the birthday of ("AoF"/"RnK"/"KoF") King, Mature and ("Imas") Ranko. Well, I ended up with the Japanese folks' Orenchi because King is outnumbered 2-1. Sorry King. It's okay, as I had brioche and other sweets from Satura also. I'm not going to type much, as I've already typed what I needed to type with the Santa Clara review. The hospitality is still there. The food is still kicking. I think a few staff members are left. It's been a minute. Yes girls, the guy that served me is cute. I get why people type that the place is a mere shell of itself. It's not that the people don't try. Being in a food hall doesn't give off the ambiance it once had. The scenario probably has bogged down the staff, even if they don't show the feeling. The reason why I now have to dock a star is because Orenchi being in a food hall had to pull off a menu contraction with mixed results. I get that there's no dessert, as one can walk to Satura. Okonomiyaki fries, as spiffy as the idea is, can be time consuming. The part I don't like is the severe reduction of types of ramen. Also, I hate to type it, but there are multiple ramen places out there that are flat out terrific. Orenchi still has the spirit, but too many places are that good. Orenchi is trying all. Even if it hasn't been 3 years, the place is trying. Oh, since no one has typed this yet, bring wipes, as again, food hall. +/The place is still trying with the hospitality and the kicking food. -/Being in a food hall gives the place real eerie flaws such as a menu contraction.

This was the first time trying this Orenchi Ramen location. We usually go to their original location in Santa Clara. Not sure why the reviews aren't so good for them. Easy ordering, pay, then get a pager. Pick-up when your order is ready. My wife and I shared... Orenchi Basics: Salt flavor with very creamy and thick tonkotsu pork broth with sliced chashu pork, green onion, seaweed, and sesame seed (4/5). Just as tasty as we remembered. The noodles were thick and had that nice chewiness to them as you slurped them up. Support your local business!

Ramen shop located inside dt Los Altos state street market. I ordered the spicy miso ramen. Was surprised it came with a lot of veggies as I feel like ramen typically doesn't come with that many veggies. I liked the noodles and the broth had good flavor and a nice kick- egg was nice and jammy too. The broth was wayyyy too thick though. It also could've been more hot as it was kind of lukewarm when I got it. Overall not bad but not sure I'd order again for $24!

Haven't seen gluten free ramen yet in any restaurant, so I was super excited to try this! The broth definitely has a kick, they give your chicken as the protein and there's lot of veggies. I am not sure what the red strands are that look like saffron but definitely is not saffron. It's like dried chili pepper strands? Not sure. Anyways this was tasty, loved the broth. The noodles have a bit of a bite to them. I was jealous that my partner got an egg and I didnt but I suppose its because the egg is marinated in soy sauce. Thankful for the option nonetheless though

Tried this new item and it's yum!! Salmon was fresh and well seared, it's melt in your mouth!

This is the place where we go to eat when my family wants to go out and each person wants their own type of cuisine. This location is in the State Street Market. Ambiance: This is in the State Street Market so no real ambiance to speak of. Service: This is a takeout location and no real service to comment about. Food: The food is always REALLY good and consistent. Here is what we have ordered before: - Spicy Miso Ramen: both in veg and non veg options and they are both good. - Curry Tan Tan: This is a very good option for those who want veggie option.

Ever since the Santa Clara location closed - this is the next closest Orenchi to us. Located in the State Street Food hall, decent amounts of seating but it can get quite loud. Solid spicy tonkatsu ramen - very flavorful and the right level of spice to give it a nice kick. Chicken karaage was also delicious. Prices were very very expensive for ramen in the area though.

My boyfriend and I first started going here at the sunnyvale location, and we were sad when it closed that location. We stumbled upon this food court on our way back from SF. I think that they serve some of the best ramen I've ever had. Ramen is not my favorite food but Orenchi Ramen is my favorite ramen. I dined in and it came out hot and the flavor was awesome. It's not too spicy for those with a minimal spice tolerance. The serving size is pretty big I ended up having leftovers. I like that the location has clean bathrooms inside, and the vibe is modern with a bit of eco sustainable table designs. While it's a bunch of food places in one spot, it's a more elevated food court. I will say the prices are on the higher side but it's Los Altos so it truly isn't a surprise. There is parking nearby, but during rush hours it's competitive parking. They had first Friday one time we went and it was we saw 3 different small bands, a bit older in age olaying classics or like younger artists singing karaoke vibes. The service is fast, I was given a beeper to tell me when the food was ready. They also have self serve water and ice area at the food court. Woukd recommend

Orenchi Ramen Los Altos has good flavors and a nice ambiance, but I was a little disappointed that the spicy miso ramen soup wasn't hot enough. Maybe that's because the operation is different from the other locations such as Santa Clara, since it's in the food court. However, I hope they serve the ramen at the right temperature. Everything else was great! Service was very quick!

Came here for my birthday lunch celebration with my little family and our friend. We wanted to have options so we picked here to eat. My child loves noodles so we ordered a large bowl (extra noodles) of the Tonkatsu with a can of green tea. The noodles were delicious as was the broth. Actually, everything was good. Soup thicker and full of flavor. Noodles cooked perfectly with a chew. I even ate the entire cha Sui which I normally don't. Very well marinated. 30 dollars for a bowl of noodles and a can of green tea is a bit hefty. Hence the 4 stars.

I love you Orenchi ( esp broth ) but this outpost in Los Altos is ridiculous and gives your product a bad name. Dearest Orenchi Los Altos: I am not on a diet. Please give me more than one thin slice of charshu on the original bowl order. In fact, I'd like about four or five slices given that each bowl was more than $20 (18.80 bowl*1.095 tax)

Is this the same Orenchi Ramen that was in Santa Clara?

Yes, this is the same Orenchi Ramen from Santa Clara, but now under new ownership. We still use the original Orenchi Ramen recipe, and this is the only place where you can enjoy it, as the Santa Clara location is permanently closed.

I wasn't exactly sure who my server was, but each of them were friendly and helpful. I ordered the mini beef don (beef rice bowl) and the tonkatsu deluxe, which included both the kakuni and the chashu. The chashu is sliced thin and flavorful, without tasting gamey. The Kakuni is very tender and rich, with more meat than fat. I also really enjoyed the broth and seeing the pork fat cooked in & well integrated into the overall dish. Noodles were the perfect texture too! I will definitely be back for another ramen soon!

We ordered the special tonkotsu ramen and chose the spicy version. As someone who loves spicy food, be aware that it was very spicy. The broth, however, was quite bland and lacked the rich, creamy texture I expect from tonkotsu ramen. On the positive side, the chashu was tender and flavorful, and the soft-boiled egg was perfectly cooked. The chicken karaage was crispy and delicious, the mini curry rice wasn't impressive. Arrived at Friday 9pm, the restaurant was still packed, we had to wait for 30 minutes. The service didn't match the crowd. We had to remind the staff to bring us water and extra bowls Overall, the food was okay, but I don't think it worth the long wait. There are plenty ramen restaurants in the Bay Area that I would choose before coming back here.

It just happened to be today that we got to go visit one and I was pleasantly surprised. From the quality and speed of the food to the prompt service, my visit exceeded my expectations. That creaminess, that umami-ness, that well balanced saltiness, it was very good and I'd definitely get it again. My wife got the Tonkatsu Udon and that in itself was very good. It wasn't just replacing ramen with udon noodles, it was more to enhance and make it all work. We ordered a kids udon and the quality of the fried corn and multiple items prepared seemed thoughtful. We also ordered the Udon Meshi, which was good, but the other items shined. Service was great.
