The milkshake was phenomenal. I've had this milkshake a couple times and I'm obsessed. The service was great and very quick. I loved the way the store is decorated it's so fun and makes you want to buy everything since it's so different than normal store items.
Fun place for all ages. The service was fast; staff were great. Ample seating. My son and husband ordered a mint shake and a brownie Sundae. They raved a lot about the sundae; they loved that the brownie was warmed and gooey. Their only complaint was that they wished their shake was more 'minty.' I was so thrilled to know they had a gluten free option for the shake; and to be honest, it did not taste "off" and it was quite delicious. My only gripe is that you can only access this place by going through the whole mall complex; and of course the parking, which can be a nightmare depending on the time you get there. Overall, fun!! Also; you can buy a variety of Oreo cookie flavors on the spot!

It's located on the top floor of IT'SUGAR at Dream mall. All items are Oreo related. The menu is milkshakes and sweets.
This the third floor of the IT'Sugar. I would start here if you are an Oreo fan and want to experience an Oreo theme restaurant. The easiest way to get here is by stairs once you enter the first floor. You can also get here by elevator (a long wait) and escalator. I tried the Oreo Ice cream sandwich. You get to pick an ice cream flavor (vanilla, chocolate) and up to four toppings (sprinkles, reese pieces, cooke crumbs, drizzle). The cost was $9.99 before tax. There tables available (around 8) that you can sit in to enjoy your Oreo. There is also a bathroom on the floor to wash up after. Overall, good but a little pricey for what you get.
This place was so much fun. I was literally like a kid in a candy store! The Oreo Cafe is located on the 3rd level of the Sweet Shop and they have almost everything Oreo from cookies to pillows & candles, and even slippers. For me it was a great exploration and I truly enjoyed it.
Oreo Cafe is a fun place to stop by and check out. It is inside the store, "It's sugar" you have to go upstairs to get there. It's full of Oreo themed merchandise, pillows, different oreo flavored cookies, and accessories. The cafe is cute, however it only has a few tables to sit in. There are a couple of menu items such as: oreo cold brew, oreo cookie sandwich, oreo milkshake. I opted for the Oreo milkshake and it was really good! I would come back for it!
We had so much fun at The Oreo Café located inside of It's Sugar. It's Sugar is 3 levels and Oreo Café is on the 3rd level. Located inside of American Dream Mall. Only a small seating area. The Oreo Café is a small kiosk. I expected it to be bigger! But it's very cute. I tried their Oreo cheesecake (see pictures). Cheesecake was presented with whipped cream and sprinkles on top. Whipped cream left a lot to be desired (tasted like water). I can't say that it was the freshest cheesecake I've ever tried but it was delicious and exactly what I expected from the Oreo Café!! 4 stars because of the whipped cream and small seating area. We'll be back!!
Very sweet shakes and service. Sharing a space with the "It's Sugar" candy store, this spot's a small paradise for cookie and candy fans. This cafe really impressed my teen-aged nephew and my 6 and 8-year old kids who love Oreo cookies. All of their shakes are on the sweet side (and could get boring) and their employees are beyond Disney friendly. Their Strawberry-Oreo Shake is the same thing as an Oreo Shake but with artificial strawberry syrup and both taste pretty good. Besides drinks, frozen treats, and pastries, they have lots of themed merchandise including clothing, pillows, and stuffed animals. A fun stop. NOTES/TIPS: **This spot is on the 3rd floor by Nickelodeon Universe where they can stamp your hand if you leave and want to return. We were able to bring our shakes into the theme park though their rules state "no outside drinks or food". **The "Twist Your Oreo" option lets you choose a base of waffle, ice cream sandwich, cone, or milkshake which you can top off with a whole list of Oreo-inspired toppings. **A not so secret menu item called the "Oreo Doughnut S'Morewich" features Oreo ice cream sandwiched between chocolate waffle cone pieces then topped with a giant marshmallow, glazed doughnut, chocolate sauce, blue and white sprinkles, and an Oreo cookie.
Today, I went to the Oreo Cafe located on the upper floor of the Sugar Factory in the American Dream Mall. I was enthralled by the whole cafe being decorated from top to bottom, wall to wall in Oreo-themed. Even the tables were Oreo Themed which were pretty cool. Rate 10/10. I ordered the Oreo Brownie Sundae which was super sweet, rich, and yummy. Rate 8.5/10. The service was relatively quick. I didn't have to wait too long for my order. Rate 8/10. The price was fair for the portion size and what was included. Overall, I would recommend this place to any Oreo lover!
I was pleasantly surprised by how good my sundae was, I was concerned this place would be gimmicky, but I enjoyed my dessert. I would come back whenever I'm in the mall.
Oreo cafe is located on the third floor of it'sugar and is definitely worth the stop in my opinion! We were greeted with samples of the Oreo/Coke flavored Oreos and a 20% off coupon. We looked around seeing a variety of Oreo flavors that we'd never seen in the store before. We ended up getting 3 flavors (buy 2 get one free + the 20% discount). We got the Coke, chocolate peanut butter pie, and java chip. The Coke one is kind of wild with the pop rocks inside and definitely a fun try! We also got an ice cream sandwich with vanilla ice cream, Oreo wafer cookies, and choice of 4 toppings (whipped cream, sprinkles, caramel mini cups, and milk chocolate pretzel nibs). The ice cream was egg free (yay for my bf)! The guy working at the counter was very nice, and the inside was decorated with all things Oreo. It was a great stop and I hope to come back!
I was very excited to come here with my kids. I saw all the videos online, and thought it looked so cool! Well, the videos make it look so much BETTER! LOL This is basically a 'Pop Up' shop in the It's Sugar store. It's located on the third floor, right across from Nickeloden Universe. The tables had a view of the indoor amusement park. We got there at opening, so there was no wait. The menu is very limiting. There was really only a few things to pick from. We were a group of 2 adults and 3 children. All of the kids got oreo cookie ice cream sandwich. They were able to select either chocolate or vanilla ice cream, and 4 toppings. I got the cold brew with whipped cream, and my friend got a strawberry milk shake. The drinks were very icy, we needed to get spoons to eat them. But overall the food was good, and what I expected with what we ordered, I just wished there was more of a selection. The other thing that really disappointed me was that they did not have any of the cool oreo flavors. My local Target has more. So, I doubt I'd make a trip here again. The entire time we were eating our oreo cookie ice cream sandwiches my son was running up from the table and asking for toys from It's Sugar. I feel like they missed an opportunity here! Is it cute? The Oreo Cafe is on the third floor of the It's Sugar shop inside the American Dream Mall. We had tasty Oreo-based shakes, but I could barely finish mine. It made me so full. This is actually in Its Sugar on the top floor. You can get to it inside the store from the first floor or straight from the 3rd floor. They have shakes and sundaes and most flavors are Oreo but they do have a red velvet option as well. Delicious and great snack break. There's seating as well. read more

The Oreo cafe was subpar. Overpriced and gimmicky. The kids enjoyed the ice cream but there was nothing special about it. Even the retail area was just regular items. The Oreo pillows looked cheap, and there weren't any exclusives or extraordinary flavors that you wouldn't be able to get at a regular grocery store. My son asked for Oreo pieces on his ice cream sandwich and the person at the register misheard and gave him sprinkles. When my husband kindly explained the situation and asked the employees for some Oreo pieces they gave him a problem, asked for a receipt, finally giving him a cup FULL of them, which was overkill and way more than he asked for. The ambiance is cool, there's a huge Oreo light fixture above, but you can also see that from the lower level. I wish we would have tried one of the other ice cream places, but my son loves Oreos so at least we can say we did it. read more

This place was so cool! It's located on the 3rd floor of the It's Sugar store in the American Dream Mall. I loved the different lighting fixtures and Oreos suspended from the ceiling. They have all of the Oreo merch imaginable, plus some specialty Oreo flavors for sale. We got the Oreo Brownie Sundae, and it was DELICIOUS! So decadent. It had a large Oreo cookie (just one side of the cookie--no cream), vanilla ice cream, chocolate and white chocolate syrups, sprinkles, and a large brownie as the base. If you're a fan of Oreos and would like to give this giant sundae a try, I recommend the Oreo Cafe! read more

I expected more! Bad service. Run seemingly by teens who don't value a paycheck. Waffle Sundae was yummy...smaller than I thought but perfect amount. Smoothie was good as well (although smoothie has a healthy connotation & the fact it's not triggered me) If you're gonna have an Oreo store in this type of mall, I expect to see every single Oreo flavor presented, even if you only have tiny quantities of each. I'm sure research does NOT show that to be an ineffective plan...for a store next to a kids area in a premier mall. In the least, you should have a photo collage of all the Oreo flavors that exist to date. True Oreo lovers like myself who travel here just for the hype presented and love for the brand would appreciate that. Please share with your corporate leader! While I understand the staff shortage, please know your team working closing shift 9/21 disatisfied. We were last to order; the other 3 groups of ppl were seated finishing. They took our order, only made one of our items. After waiting 10mins we ask where is our other order because now we're the only customers remaining, while the two boys are playing and chatting, the forgetful cashier is on her phone filling stations; they're like "You ordered something else?" What?! $22 worth. We left disappointed for several reasons. I was hoping to recommend this but I refuse. read more
Go toward nickolodean and you'll find It's Sugar. The oreo cafe is in the third floor of It's Sugar. This was a hard place to find- the directory isn't very clear. When my husband and I went in the Great American mall, we walked quite a way since the constructions were blocking alot of the hallways. We must have been redirected about 3 times. If the escalator leads you to a dead end, you need to go back down and then go back up the other escalator . Anyways my husband and I ordered the oreo waffle with chocolate ice cream. We didn't taste the oreo so much as the chocolate ice cream. The entire suite has oreo merchandise and varieties of oreo cookies. Other than the many wonderful displays of candy, I loved their fun decor of over hanging oreos and oreo tables. During the weekends, you could wait in line as long as 40minutes. Can't wait to go back just to try their oreo shake. read more

This place was fun. You are instantly surrounded by Oreo products and merchandise and in the center of the place is the stand for ordering Oreos sundaes, ice cream sandwiches and more. I had the ice cream sandwich with chocolate ice cream and Oreo cookies pieces. All was well, staff was friendly and my belly felt great. I will def visit again when in the mall shooing or after visiting and attraction. read more

The Oreo cafe was super fun for the whole family! The desserts were really good and reasonably priced. They do get pretty crowded so be prepared to wait. The shop has a lot of cool and fun items so that you can shop around to keep you busy. read more
Walked right in and ordered with little wait. Got the Oreo frosted cold brew. It wasn't too sweet and had tons of oreo flavor. It comes topped with whipped cream and oreo crumbs. Exactly what I expected. Pricey but worth it read more
The cafe is really hard to find. The map in the mall is not clear because certain halls in the mall are blocked off. There was no line. We got the Oreo brownie sundae. It was really good, but it does kind of fall over while eating so be careful. definitely recommend sharing because it is a lot. read more
After arriving from Newark Airport, my partner, his family and I arrived at the American Dream built as the most expensive mall lying across the Hudson River from Gotham in East Rutherford. While there, we went to the newly opened Oreo Cafe. Located on the third floor within IT'SUGAR known as the world's largest candy department store it's basically a restaurant dedicated exclusively to Oreos. I exchanged a few words with the general manager and assistant manager, John and Joe. The store features a menu of Oreo-inspired desserts, do-it-your-self customizable treats and limited-edition cookie merchandise. We didn't have any sweets here but there's always a next time. If you are in the area and need a sweet kick, give this place a chance. read more

I've gone again, it was much easier seeing as I knew where I was going. They don't have their secret menu item anymore, and the hot chocolate float is super decadent and sweet so if you have a really sweet tooth you'll like this. The brownie oreo sundae was good and the ice cream cut through the chocolate so it didn't taste as sweet. read more
Meh... the things to eat were not all that amazing. Got the brownie sundae and it was just meh. Tasted like it had Hershey's syrup straight out of the bottle all over it, whereas it could have been a nicer sundae if it had actual hot fudge. Brownie was cold, would have also been way nicer if it was heated, but either way it wasn't a spectacular brownie. My husband and I got the sundae to share and didn't even finish it... sadly it went into the trash, and I had to chuckle because we were clearly not the only people that weren't enamored with their sundaes. If your business has a trash full of half eaten sundaes, it's probably a clue that they aren't very good. That being said, the place looked cool. The tables all looked like giant Oreos, and there was even an Oreo chandelier. They sold all sorts of crazy stuff, including Oreo scented candles. Don't go out of your way to come here. If you're at the mall and curious, perhaps come for the novelty factor. But I wouldn't waste my money actually buying anything to eat in the cafe. It's just not good, and it's insanely overpriced to boot ($10 for a milkshake, almost $15 for a sundae, and the cashier claimed they were really too small for sharing to try and get you to spend more) read more

Came here to try it out and loved the shakes! My mom got the Oreo strawberry smoothie and I got the plain Oreo shake! They were both amazing! The line here was absolutely crazy! We waited about 2 hours in line to get our shakes, but they were well worth it. I think the strawberry one was better personally. We were lucky to get a table as there are only a few inside. This is on the third floor in It's Sugar if you want to find it! read more

Quick note. You cannot walk in from the map as it directs you. That is not actually a valid open area of the mall. Instead make your way into "It's Sugar" and walk up to the third floor from within the store. Voila, Oreo Cafe. Let me say, the workers are generally polite when they finally serve you but wholly ignore the patrons and give no announcement of delay or even greet people. As a dad. This place is relatively pointless...for about $10 bucks I can make everything they have at home. Literally, it isn't novel or complicated. For the most part, ice cream, Oreos, whip cream. The prices are ridiculous and the wait is nearly unbearable. We were 6th in line and waited 1 hour and 15 minutes. On top of it being a 3 story climb to the cafe from inside the store. At least some calories are burned along the way. For my kids it's a cool treat on a Summers day and that's nice but really it's a cash grab as I march slowly and forever to my chocolate death. Its nice place. I have seen this place opened about couple months ago. But I decided to stop by and try. We got waffle sandwich with vanilla ice cream. It was good. Waffle was warm and ice cream melt just right top of it. Little pricy for desert, but worth it for experience. This place sells many different Oreo items. If you like Oreos, one will love it. I recommend to check this place out if you stop by American Dream and Sugar store. The store has tons of sugar items, I usually stop by. They sell candy by weight so you can buy few, if you are sure you want to buy whole bag of something. Kids love it. read more

I'm a big oreo lover so anything oreo other than the oreo cookies, I'm down to eat! The oreo cafe was on the third floor of the candy store, not as big as I thought. I ordered the oreo waffle sundae and it was pretty good. The waffles help the sweetness of the oreo and the candies. It was a little pricey but I knew that before coming here. read more

Are there any gluten free options?
Oreo does sell a GF cookie in a few flavors, but regular oreos have gluten. Most menu items come with regular Oreo cookies. You can order items without them, like a shake or sundae, minus the cookies. Plenty of other just sugary, gluten free options…
