I really liked this nail salon - it was so comfy, clean, and quiet. However, I only got my manicure two days ago and they're already full of air bubble holes and chipping like crazy. Came in today on a Wednesday afternoon to do regular polish on my toes and hard gel mani. From the moment we sat down the two nail technicians working on me began complaining in Vietnamese that I was taking too long picking a color. The nail tech doing my hard gel said in Vietnamese that it's people like me who take a long time choosing a color only to choose one that's hard for them to do (I chose a nude color). They didn't know I am fluent in Vietnamese because I don't look it, and they both just kept complaining, especially the lady doing my toes. I'm not sure what her rush was since the shop was pretty empty and she spent the next 35 min after finishing my toes scrolling on her phone. That same tech also told to the tech working on my hands that the nail color I had on before made my toes so ugly. Maybe they were upset that I got regular polish on toes because it isn't profitable for them.I don't get polish only on my toes because I always have issues whenever I get a pedicure with the skin getting cut too much. Whatever the reason, why talk about your clients like this, even if they don't understand Vietnamese? I'm so upset and disappointed that they talked about me this way. We live in California -please just anticipate that maybe your clients are mixed race and maybe don't bad mouth them as you're working on them. I'm never coming here again and will tell my friends not to either. I told the nail technician doing hard gel thank you in Vietnamese. Price was insanely expensive. Not worth it. Nails were awful and ruined. Toenails turned out good. There were several miscommunications. I said I wanted a manicure and pedicure over 5 times and first they only did the manicure. then i had to ask after they were almost done, like what about my manicure? Then they finally did it. The nails were 100% dry upon leaving, yet the imperfections occurred. Polish must've been gummy. Weird. Not coming back unfortunately. read more

I get a hard gel fill every 3 to 4 weeks, and I've had the pleasure of seeing several nail techs during my visits. Each one does an exceptional job, paying close attention to detail and making sure I'm completely satisfied with the results. I do plain colors and also bring in photos of designs and they always nail it! If you are planning on doing a design, just make sure to tell them before you sit down so they can pair you with a tech that is skilled in designs! I visited this salon yesterday for a Gel-X manicure. The technician who worked on me was kind and patient, which I really appreciated. However, her technique felt outdated and a bit messy. the amount of glue used was excessive -- The final result was okay, but nothing professional -- it was just a very basic, old-school service. One thing I found especially unprofessional was that another staff member stood next to her the entire time, and the two of them kept chatting in a different language right over my head. It made me feel uncomfortable and overlooked as a client. Another thing that bothered me was when I asked for a French manicure. After applying a nude base, the technician suddenly suggested adding chrome on top and said, "It looks much prettier than French." I found it strange and unprofessional to receive unsolicited opinions when I had clearly requested something specific. If doing a French design was too difficult or time-consuming for her, then she should have communicated that upfront -- or simply not taken my appointment. It made me feel like my preferences weren't respected! Overall, it wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't call it a high-standard or professional experience either. So !!! This place gets straight to business, all of the staff are so sweet and polite, their prices are amazing and very fair, and I've never left the nail salon with something other than exactly what I asked for. Nothing is necessarily awful but there's nothing fantastic. I personally would not return here as it is (in my opinion) worse than your generic happy nails. It has a different name and 'unique' interior with the upped price but the extremes between good and bad don't make the risk worth it. They play no music so it's silence, machinery or the mail technicians talking among themselves. The televisions also do not work so bring some headphones. I believe the quality is 100% based upon which nail tech you get which is typically standard at nail salons however here it's either amazing or far less then. I saw two women here get two separate nail techs who did amazing work however I was in a group of four and 2 of the four had awful nails and a very painful experience, one had okay nails but a nice experience and the final got his feet scrubbed with no complaints. One girl I was with was being burned by the electric file so she got a free hand massage however her nails are also textured (I will include a picture). Prior to going in I had very nice, long natural nails (even the nail tech thought they were fake and asked if I wanted a new set). I asked for a baby French tip, to keep my nails long, and rounded nail when trimmed. I got nails chopped to the base immediately without being asked (where your nerves are felt under the nail bed and you can see your finger under the nail) which are uneven and packed full of debris the nail tech didn't remove and I had to pick at myself after she had walked away. The nails edges are unprotected and I could slip a credit card between my nail and the dip. When they cut them square some aren't even cut straight. My cuticles were shaved off with the electric file used for fake nails (very painful). Overall I would not return. I think the extreme differences in service are not worth the gamble. Although a couple are good the few that are bad make this location not worth it. Ocean Ranch happy nails have given me a better experience every single time. I'm not saying they're awful I just didn't receive anything I had asked for. $288 before tip with a 5% cash pay discount for two dip manicures, one pedicure ($75) and one mani pedi. read more

This has been my go to nail salon for a while because its close, they do a fair job, and I like that they have a punch card. Today was not my best experience though. Got a gel manicure and noticed that the tech grazed my skin while filing my nails but didn't think it was a big deal until I got home and realized the cut was fairly deep and bleeding :/ I also didn't realize until it was time to pay that they did Gel X (i think) without asking me and it was $50. Went in for a basic manicure. Received a 5 min massage that was included in the price. Technician asked if I wanted more massage time. I literally said well if you want to..(unsure why she was offering this?.. maybe because my nails were still drying?). Come to find out when paying the bill, I was CHARGED $5 for it (along with it upping the tip). Would have appreciated her informing me of that at the moment. It was time for a long overdue pedicure before our vacation trip. We decided to try another new salon in our new neighborhood and this was a success! I had Amy and my mom had Macy do our pedicures. We appreciated that they used a tub liner and everything seemed clean and sanitary. I called on a Thursday around noon and asked if they could accommodate us in 10 minutes and they agreed. They had a smaller selection of OPI nail polish but they had nice colors. I did the regular pedicure and mom did the deluxe. $25 and $35 respectively, the extra $10 gave callus removal and a hot stone treatment with extended massage. Overall we were both really pleased. The scrub smelled really lovely. They had a nice warm towel after the lotion on your legs which was scented with lemongrass. The chairs had a lovely massage feature. I had never had a pedicure without anything placed between my toes but it seemed to work. Mom had paper towels folded in between her toes. Maybe it depends on who does your nails. The salon has been open for about 6 months I overheard the owner say to another lady. It is clean and bright. There were about 5 ladies getting manicures that were gel or dip or something and you thankfully couldn't smell any fumes which is a big deal. We saw several walk-ins who asked for mani-pedis and they were told to come back in a hour as they had several show up for appointments after us. When I checked out they had a loyalty registration so you get $10 off after 10 times. I enjoy being rewarded for my loyalty. We will definitely return! read more

She is patient on letting me choose the color I want, sometimes even test the color on my fingers first to see if I actually like the color. Yesterday, I coordinated another birthday event for my mother and her friends. Last year, we had to unfortunately cancel plans due to the rise of Covid. I was devastated, but I wanted to get back on track this year. So, I planned a brunch, spa day and dinner. Typically, I give myself a several months but this was a bit last minute not knowing if another spurge would shut down businesses again. I needed to find a spa that could accommodate all six of us with everyone wanting to get something different done, though unfortunately, every location either did one or the other; nails or massage but not both. Time was ticking but I came across Organic Nails and their reviews. I wanted to take a lot into consideration due to the nature of everything negatively occurring in society and wanted to pamper my mother and friends without any hiccups in their experience. When I called Organic Nails, I did share a little of my concerns though, they were very accommodating over the phone saying that they would book us for 2 hours so that each technician could take their time. Each of us were driving from different locations. Temecula, Riverside, Los Angeles, and Long Beach so we definitely wanted everything to be well worth it. I created an itinerary so that we could be at each destination on time and after brunch from a nearby restaurant, we walked over to Organic Nails. We were immediately greeted and because we were so early, I explained that we just wanted to make sure that we were present but we would go take a walk to see the ocean. When we returned, they started wrapping things up with the other clients and started taking care of my mother and her friends. They then took my best friend and started working on her massage. They brought out mimosas, wine and a charcuterie boared and started serving us while we were getting pampered. The manager then suggested that I change the channel on their Television to play something appropriate for my mother's big day. So, I played Stevie Wonder and Earth Wind and Fire songs. We all started singing along and just enjoying the overall ambiance. Leave it to us to turn a salon into a party central. We had (2) massages (1) facial and (3) mani pedis and the entire staff definitely made this day a memorable event and it really set the tone for the remainder of our day. Even after my mother's friend finished up with her facial, which she was in a room separate from the rest of us, they made sure to include her with a drink and snacks. She was literally glowing. They went above and beyond more than what I would have expected and I made sure to tip each of them generously per person on top of the grand total. They absolutely deserved it! These women work hard and should be shown graciousness and gratitude for what they do all for the luxury of others. I truly wanted to make sure that I supported them in giving them my business where other businesses offered the very minimal in support. The fact that they offered to block out their entire salon, just for our group and even offer additional amenities is something to be thankful for. They alleviated all my stress, both literally and figuratively, and quite literally made this weekend the best day which was money well spent! Thank you ladies!!!! read more
