I don't get my nails done too often (I work in healthcare and cannot have polish on) but I used to. This place is clean, professional, hard working and seem to want to please their customers. Any request I make is done and they are always on time when I come in. I always do make an appointment because of my schedule but they do take walk-ins if they have time. Horrible horrible it's my birthday today and horrible service rest of the techs are wonderful but this person, pinches off the smears he did, can't take out the ingrown nails. I asked for the sweet temptation pedi my favorite no chip it was horrendous service, I really don't complain on Yelp especially right now everyone restaurant spas everywhere you see it short on staff and also working long hours but what I don't get is how are you working as a nail tech if you are not good with people, Paul amazing and Julie when she was still working here, but Tony or Tommy he is just bad news, my pedi looks horrible it wasn't relaxing and now I have a bruise from all the pinching, around the nail. My nail has a bad weird shape 45 dollars for this and he kept on squishing my feet or man handling them OUCH! I and I got a $25 dollar gift card back why, they could have just asked or someone to switch with him. The tech from my right side and left side would give me looks and tell me we know... he's unprofessional rude and now I have a bruise. He had to go get another tech to do the ingrown nails because he couldn't he said I did... no you did not took out any ingrown nail, main reason why I get a pedi. I've come here a few times over the last couple of years. I'm almost always disappointed in the customer service of the nail techs as well as the end result of my pedicures. Ive been told multiple times to switch the polish I chose because it's too old or clumpy. Then why are they on the shelf as an option? Consider replacing your polishes as they get old. Also as a paying customer I deserve to leave with a manicure that doesn't look like I did it at home... streaky, messy and missing polish on some areas. It is not a cheap service and I expect to leave a happy customer. I went back in to have it fixed and was given major attitude about the issue instead of empathy. Bad business all around. Won't come back this time. I think I've learned my lesson. read more

Service is below average. Prices are a total ripoff. The techs are average at best. Seems like every time you go they keep raising the price. A basic mani pedi will set you back close to $100. You better not want gel or anything more than basic or you'll need to take out a mortgage. It's truly not worth it. It's not very nice place. Cheaply put together. Service is really under par. I've been coming to Organic Nails for about a year with hopes things would get better. The technicians are good but the schedule is managed terribly! Why make an appointment if they are NEVER on time. The owner takes everyone that walks in with no regard for those that made an appointment. When you say something to him about it he always has excuses as to why the tech is running behind. I get it, your busy but then just don't take appointments if you can't keep them. Botched dip manicure done by the manager himself. Deplorable. Zero hygiene what so ever. Manager constantly shifting between answering the phone, writing new appointments etc(spreading germs) and going back to doing nails. Answered the phone at least 10 times. He was super unfocused and aggressive cutting my cuticle way too short. Instead of relaxing, now have to worry about healing a wound and preventing infection. Absolutely horrible. Pedicure: worst pedicure of my life, and one of the priciest. Nails chipped within 30 mins of getting home despite sitting under UV light for 30 mins and wearing flip flops. Poor pedicure with no massage, and the tech barely scrubbed my feet or massages. I Had to do my manicure first because they didn't have anyone to do pedicure despite making an appointment. After chipping my pedi the same day, they said I could come to have it fixed. Went back to get color fixed, which they did with no wait. However second color also chipped within an hour of getting home. The nail polish was thick and I think it was old and chunky. The nail tech was poor. Manicure: I got an ombré dip manicure (I believe it was done by Ryan -- definitely not the manager, but a different male tech). It was the bomb. Unfortunately he doesn't do pedicures because he is def a perfectionist and would have done a much better job than the other two techs. I did an ombré with white and French mani pink and it was beautifully done. He was also super gentle and quick (about 45 mins total). Would highly recommend for him for dip, but he's probably the only bright spot of the whole place. I spent about $100 for dip ombré mani (no acrylic) and regular pedi including tip and I feel like I wasted my money on the pedi. I would come back for Ryan to do my dip but that's about it. Would never come back for anything else. This place is the worst. read more

I have tried to reach out to speak to the owner and they were either busy or he was not there. I used to come here more, but when my dip manicures were cracking more frequently, I have slowed down and took a break. I went in for a pedicure (and manicure if time) before spring break which I expected to wait being that it was busy. But after waiting 30 minutes, the first thing she told me while filling the tub is that the polish I chose wasn't good and I should pick another. Then she cut my cuticle too short and said it was because I had dry skin when I reacted. When she started painting, I said the color didn't really match what was on the board, but I was almost ignored. Then, when she finished in slightly over 20 minutes, I noticed it wasn't a great pedicure. I asked her about it and she said it was because I had dry skin. The nail polish was uneven/on my skin at the cuticle, didn't cover my whole nail at the tip, and was obviously uneven on other nails. I was once again ignored and shuffled to the dry station and when I brought it up at checkout I was told "thank you for your patience", which I never even complained about the wait. I like this place a lot and want to see them succeed but would really like to see them take a step back and work on the customer service aspect of taking care of their customers and their products instead of trying to get as many people rushed through every appointment. It's really affecting the entire quality of the experience. read more

First time trying them out. We were walk ins and there was lil time to closing and the person up front didn't hesitate to take us. They did a great job. Also, I went with my 2 month old and the person had patience. The only thing I didn't like was that the person doing my nails and the person doing my daughters nails were talking to each other in their language. Horrible customer service, the guy sitting on the first chair did my nails yesterday (5/26) and he just felt rushed and would pull my arm closer amd it wasn't a soft pull either. I asked for a design and he said no when we finished I had belongings and he proceeds to grab them and hand them to me instead of walking them over to the drying table. By the time I looked up he was long gone. Don't waste your time or money there. read more

Updating my review because the second time I came in here was much different from the first time I was here. I came in to get a dip manicure again and a pedicure on a Sunday evening. Luckily I was one of the first people before there was a huge rush of people coming in without appointments. The male owner seemed to accept each person coming in even though they were already understaffed for the evening. I had to wait about 25 minutes before I was seated for my pedicure, even though I called ahead. I told the owner that I had to be somewhere in about an hour and a half as I was worried I would not be able to get a pedicure and dip manicure in that amount of time. The owner kindly let me know that everything could be done on time. I waited on the massage chair with my feet in the water for about twenty minutes before someone came and started working on my dip manicure. I had a different nail technician this time, she was probably the youngest one out of all of them. She didn't fix my cuticles and she barely filed the dip product down so my nails look thick and unnatural. As for my pedicure, the lady took her time and I felt like I wasn't being rushed at all. Lastly, as my dip manicure was coming to an end, I was getting worried that the color was not turning out as the color that I chose. My nail technician told me that the final color is different when they put the top coat on it, but I already knew this. It was still not the color I chose. They gave me the wrong color. Luckily it wasn't something I hated, but still, they got my color wrong because I chose the color from a file for no-chip manicures and not the dip manicures... they were all in the same bin. How was I supposed to know the difference? Next time I will come back and ask for my original lady and perhaps stick to a no-chip polish because what the dip I have right now is way too thick. I also wish they took Discover cards but they don't. read more

So I wanna start off by saying my friend and I were walk ins. We came at about 4:45 and it was pretty busy. They sat us down for our pedicures and soon after a lady by the name of jay came and helped me pick out a color and made very helpful suggestions on what to get done. I highly recommend going to her. She did my pedicure very nicely, cleaned my cuticles and helped fix my ingrown toenail. I even observed as she did another girls nails and they came out lovely. As for my friend she got another lady that kept telling her that her color choice was wrong and how she should have gotten no chip and not regular. I didn't appreciate the upselling on a service that I didn't request. But needless to say her toes looked good. After that we waited for what felt like 45 mins or so in the chairs we had gotten our toes done until someone asked if we were doing anything else, and my friend had told them she wanted her nails done. Now she also wanted to get an ombré dip but ended being placed with a guy who is believed to be the owner. At all cost try your best not to get the tall man who seems like he's in charge, he kept asking her over and over again if she wanted extensions even though she kindly declined, then he started on her nails but practically ever 3/5 minutes he would get up and walk off to do some other task and then come back and man handle her hands, he didn't bother asking her what shape she wanted her nails either and so she ended up with round bubble nails when she wanted square. Overall he was very rude because he also decided that while doing my friends nails it was the perfect time to argue and harass the lady I had about a previous client. At the end he fakely kept telling us how he appreciated us so much and thank you for coming despite being rude and saying that he prefer if I tipped in cash. Which I do recommend doing because I don't know that I trust what I'm giving is going to who helped me. Also make sure you ask for a receipt because he doesn't try and give you one. read more

Previously, I was serviced at another salon on Irving Park where I had a very bad experience. So coming to this salon was a breath of fresh air! Visited for the first time on 9/2/22. Had appts and still waited 30 minutes. Very stuffy/hot in there. Pushed no chip nails at 3-4 times. I asked for the basic pedicure for 32 minutes but they rushed it and I finished in 20 minutes. Felt like cattle. For my rushed manicure, waved a piece of paper for a few seconds to dry my nails after base & before polish. Again after polish and before top coat....instead of a little fan. Needless to say the Polish came chipped in LESS than 24 hours. Will never return here. Oh and not much there organic wise. Not sure why Organic in the name. read more

I am updating my review and taking off three stars because i gave them few more attempts and i am not happy. Their quality of services went downhill. I went with my daughter for manicure and no chip and i was unpleasantly surprised how unorganized they became. Everyone works on everyone. My daughter had three technicians working on her simple manicure. Mind you,she is 3 years old. My no chip was done in 25 min and its a mess. I told the lady that i dont like having cuticles because i have extremely short nails but look at this... what a mess. At $37 price point you would expect perfection of a manicure but all I got was no chip that looks like those that nails students are doing. So messy and ugly. I am so disappointed and sad. I had an evening appointment and as soon as the owner left, the demeanor of the lady doing my pedicure changed. She would not give me her professional opinion on a color that would compliment the tip. Needless to say, my pedicure looks the worst it has ever looked! I asked her to cover up the pedicure with glitter because I was so embarrassed. I can't believe I paid $62 for that awful job!!! I went here when I just needed my gel manicure taken off and then a new gel manicure put on. I called ahead because I had never been to there before. I made an appointment for 1:00 but the man on the phone never took my name or phone number. When I got there at 1:00, I was told to have a seat and pick a color but I wasn't told what colors were for gel manicure as opposed to dip or regular polish. I picked my color and waited. I watched around five other people come in and be seated for their manicure. I ended up waiting 45 minutes, even with an appointment! I would definitely suggest going early in the morning or not on the weekend. The man who did my nails was the one working the phone (maybe the owner) and he kept getting up and answering the phone or checking people out so that was a bit frustrating as well. My overall time there was probably around 2 hours total which was not what I had expected. Despite all that, the man who did my nails did a really good job overall and my gel manicure lasted over two weeks. read more
