This local spa is sooo underrated! I was shocked to see they only had 8 reviews on Yelp. I came here because my mom got me a gift card to Papillon for my birthday, and I booked my first ever facial with them (I also got her a gift card here a while back before because she's been here before and really liked it). When trying to make an appointment for myself, I called 3x within a 30 minute span and had no answer. Months back when I called for more info about gift cards for my mom, they also didn't pick up. Nonetheless, both times they called back a little while later and left a voicemail, so I appreciated the reach out! They answered both times when I called them back afterwards and everything was set. Booking via phone was super easy, and they also have an online booking system as well. The spa is super clean, cute, and modern. Halina is who took care of me the entire time and I absolutely adored her! So down-to-earth, friendly, and absolutely great at her job. I got a 90-minute signature facial ($120) and it was worth every penny. I didn't even know this came with it but she also massaged my arms, shoulders, and feet! I felt so relaxed and my skin was flawlessly hydrated after. I loved every part of the facial, even the extraction (she made it as painless as possible). I will definitely be coming here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a facial, massage, wax, laser, etc. (they have tons of services!) I had a detox facial with Halina today. She had a warm welcome and addressed all my concerns before my facial. During the steam process, she massaged my hands and arms. It was so relaxing! I usually tear up during the extraction process but I did not with her. She was gentle and thorough. She even gave me a foot massage while I had a mask on! What a relaxing experience! I've been feeling real icky, since being cooped up. Slowly becoming a barbaric cave woman. Thus, today. It's been a while since I've felt fresh... and satisfied ‍. The location is very convenient, with many other businesses around for refreshments, and my favorite- Central Continental Bakery! The whole area of "downtown Mount Prospect" sure has a very "friendly neighborhood", definitely a place I do like to reset and soak the vibe. (Metra Rail right in front too!!) The suburb, hussle and bustle mini escape. Very clean, minimalist space. Friendly, as well as patient. I'm grateful for the service I had received. (Hopefully, they weren't judging me as I wasn't at my best condition.) Overall, I feel fresh and relieved. I had discovered this amenity via Groupon, whereas for either "1 Brazilian waxing", or for the "3 Brazilian waxing". Definitely recommend their business, surefire clean and kempt (as well myself, finally!!) I tried this salon for the first time a few weeks ago and I'm glad I did. It's a very nice and clean spa and offers many services. My waxing experience had a few mishaps so it wasn't completely painless, however, Monica made me feel comfortable even when I felt a bit shy at times. Overall, I'd recommend Papillon and I would love to go back to try their laser hair removal services, if they ever offer reasonable specials or packages in the future. read more

I tried Papillon for the first time this week, and it was great! I had a facial and brow tinting with Halina, and she was awesome. She listened to my concerns and suggested a facial that I loved and my skin feels and looks so much better afterwards. She also listened to my feedback on my brows and really worked to make them look how I wanted and I'm really happy with how they turned out. Just came back from the 2h facial. So pumped and relaxed. Very nice service. Girls are very professional, knowledgeable and up to date with latest cosmetics and treatments, well ahead the market here. I've got also hand and foot massage not mentioning amazing face next and décolleté massage together with facial. The spa is very clean and cosy. Prices very reasonable. I had never been to this spa before but I decided to take a change and it definitely paid off! I had Halina and she did an excellent job on treating all my skin needs and walked through every step with me. The multiple face masks were very soothing and each had a different sensation. The hand and foot massage during the facial was also very nice. There was some pop/country music playing in the background (instead of calming spa music) but I didn't mind it at all. For the quality of the facial, I would say that this place is well worth the cost of the services and I will definitely be going back in the future! read more
