Love love love this place! I have been coming to this spa for my nails for years and have always been a fan for several reasons. The service has always been impeccable and friendly. I know that if I'm promised a time slot that I will have that time available. Tina is a wonderful and friendly person who truly makes you feel taken care of. The entire place is very clean and trendy and I always feel relaxed and pampered there. Now as for the actual manicures and pedicures, they're beautiful! My nails not only look neat and prettier at the end of the the detailed and care-vested process, but my hands and feet feel healthier as well! read more

I don't want to speak too soon but I may have found my go-to nail salon *gasp* West U Nails is really close to my house, and somehow I never tried them out before. They are located on a very busy street (Bellaire Blvd). It's not a huge shop, or new, but it is very clean. I finally came by for the first time on July 18 for a dip powder set with designs. The design was what I found on Pinterest. Somehow I forgot to take pictures then.. but it turned out amazing, just how I wanted it. I was pleasantly surprised that my cuticles were cut and prepped, not the usual treatment I get at other salons because I don't usually choose the manicure package. I went back the second time on August 3, and this time the service was even more impressive. I had ripped out some of my nails the night before, and was in major need of a do-over. I came in right when they opened at 9am on a Saturday, got seated right away and offered a water. I noticed that a sealed set of cutters was used, which is a huge plus for sanitary reasons. I asked for dip powder with french tips in chrome. **Spoiler alert** The whole process took 2.5 hours!! My technician (Sen) really took her time to make sure all the details are perfect, from shaping to painting on french tips with gel. She even helped me put on my mask when I couldn't do it with my nails being worked on at the time. When I requested chrome, I didn't realize how long it would take. She had to PAINT the chrome on top of the french tips, making sure it doesn't get on the rest of my nail bed. Even though it took that long, she didn't take any shortcuts, still lotioned & gave me a hand massage afterwards. I was in awe of the treatment I received. I literally can't wait to go back! read more

Peeps! This is the Geico of nail salons because it was so easy, even a caveman like me enjoyed it. Walked in. They gave me a menu with price point and time expectations. Perfect! Because I have no idea what to ask for and I like to know how much time will be spent getting things done. Next. They Escorted me to my chair, welcomed me, and went to work. I'm 17 years old and I went here recently with my friend and my little sister (8). Credits to the lady who helped us, because oh my gosh she was amazing! I've never been treated this well in a while... She would ask me if i'm okay on the least painful things, and she made my experience so relaxing! She handled my little sister amazing (who is a bit spoiled) but this lady was determined! This place obviously has great service, except what about how they actually get the job done.. Well, the first 5 hours my face was awesome and I have a big problem with oily skin which has mildly affected my face, making big pores and blackheads. My face was basically perfect for the first 5 hours but then my blackheads and pores started to reappear. Other than that, my face still feels soft! This is my happy place - not only do they do a terrific job on my nails but they are kind and their massages are heavenly. I always get 10 extra minutes and it is worth every penny. I can't say enough about how friendly and caring everyone is and what a good job they do with managing to take all of their clients. It is rare that I ever have to wait as a walk in because they have plenty of staff, espeically at busy times. This is a well-run business with the same staff working there for years. I've been coming to this nail salon for my pedicures for many years now and all the nail technicians are good, but my favorite one is Betty! She's meticulous in her work and her massages are amazing. Her massages are so good I think she could become a massage therapists if she wanted to. Experience the lavender or pearl pedicure if you haven't, the extra massage is absolutely worth it! read more

I tried this salon Friday as they had good reviews . I did a dip mani and shellac pedi . The ladies were very nice there , however , by Sunday (2 days later) every nail cracked . Additionally it took over 2 hours there because the lady doing my nails kept getting up, answering phone , checking people out etc . I wouldn't recommend this place if you want lasting nails. I gave 2 stars because the ladies were very nice and the owner refunded the money for my nails . read more

I moved to Houston from Austin a little less than a year ago, and my first order of business was to find a nail salon to take care of me. My nails are the one thing I don't skimp out on, and I am happy to say I have found my nail home :) Tina and all the lovely ladies have taken exceptional care of my nails, and every time I go, the experience is a 10 out of 10. I usually have to compromise the Mani/Pedi for great customer service or I don't get great customer service when I get great Mani/Pedi but here it's a different story. Really liked this place . I walked in with my mom asking for pedicures and they were able to fit us for both mani and pedi on a Friday before Easter. Jasmine was my technician and I think mom had Hannah. Both nice and welcoming . And understanding . I even had to leave to make a work phone call abs jasmine was very accommodating. They are clean , she dropped a nail clipper and immediately opened another . Will likely be switching to here fir my mani pedi. Prices are average. Covid precautions are ok they don't do the every other feet but they do requires masks . read more

A major perk: they offer 20% off main services for medical staff (Monday-Thursday), teachers (Monday-Tuesday), and students (Wednesday). I've been going to West U Nails for several years. During COVID I'm especially happy that the professional nail techs there require masks. That lets me know that they respect my health and my mother's. I've known Tina the longest, but all of the women that work there are great - ask for Tina (I call her Dr. Tina - because she always knows how to repair my nails), Meghan, Cindy, Jasmine, Mai - they are all wonderful. I don't even try to pick my colors anymore, because Tina can read my mind and get the best color to go with my skin tone. I have been going here with my mom for over 10 years. This place is not only full of high quality nail techs but the women who work there are fun and make the entire experience amazing! My mom goes to see Tina and I see Mai, we have never found another manicure that compares to the quality these ladies put in for us! Especially with Covid, getting nails done can feel risky but West U nails has made sure that you feel safe! There are plexiglass barriers and everything is cleaned between customers, I have never felt at risk. If you are looking for a nail place with reasonable pricing and great quality this is the place to go! read more

West U Nails has been my go to nail place since 2017 at LEAST. I even got my mom & some of her neighbors hooked They always do a stellar job - Tina has been doing my gel/shellac nails recently and they look consistently amazing!!! It's especially impressive since I have naturally very thin nails. She works her magic to make them stay strong and grow without being thick & chunky. I cannot say enough nice things about this nail salon located just across from the Whole Foods on Bellaire Blvd. Tami, the owner, is so lovely and friendly, unlike many other studios where the greeting is sparse before you are directed to your chair. My nail tech, Tracy, does the MOST BEAUTIFUL dipping, and I've had multiple people do my pedicure and have been happy with all. Have also had waxing done. This is probably my first review ever, period, but this establishment is worth it! I moved to the area last year and have been going to them to get my nails done ever since. I'm not very picky when it comes to where I have my nails done, however, consistent, good work and good customer service keeps me coming back. I typically get gel mani/pedis and tonight was the same thing, KI mani/pedi and my nails look awesome! It's a place I trust and would recommend to anyone! read more

I am new to Houston and finally found the perfect manicure at West U Nails. Tina is amazing! She shapes my nails beautifully and has converted me to dipping powder because of how natural she makes it look. My manicures always last 3-4 weeks (pictures are 2 weeks post manicure)! This place is a hidden gem! I was in the neighborhood one day and desperately needed a manicure so I decided to stop in. I walked out with hands down - one of the best dip manicures and gel pedicures ever. Better than when I go to the overpriced places in Houston. Stays on for WEEKS and the place is super clean. This is the only nail salon I trust! Tracy does my nails every time and she does such a great job! She makes sure that each nail looks perfect and the dip looks as natural as possible. Started coming here in June and haven't been to any other nail salon since. I usually get different girls to do my pedicure each time, but they always do a great job. Love this place! read more

I absolutely love West U Nails!! I've been about 4 times and every time has been a wonderful experience! I won't go anywhere else. I typically only get shellac on my fingernails and it lasts AT LEAST 3-4 weeks. Every technician is super friendly and they all pay great attention to detail. The pricing is also extremely fair. Just moved from Pearland and this is the first nail place I've tried in Houston. It is fabulous! Reasonable pricing for the area and the mini-massages that come with the mani/pedi is a huge plus. Ms Tracy did my mani and Ms Donna did my pedi, but Tammy and the rest of the crew seem great. A lot of regulars walked in while I was here which is a good sign. read more

I have gone to Tina for years. She gives excellent manicures pedicures, and brows. Tina and others in the shop are so friendly and go the extra mile to please their customers. I showed her an image of what I wanted and she told me, it was going to be $45 plus $15 for the holographic design on top, which wasn't a problem. I requested a full set with solar powder and the lady just went in a started doing dip, I just let her. She did not remove my cuticles, and did a really sloppy job. The shape was uneven and textured was bumpy. When doing my pedicure the other lady didn't shave down anything nor do the wax at the end although I requested it, I wasn't given any options during my visit. During check out she said it would be $65 for my nails when she told me it was going initially going to be $60. So I just went ahead and deducted it from the tip. I will not be returning. The pic attached is ONLY AFTER 3 DAYS!
