A no frills but great sub shop / deli. So many sandwich choices and specials. They also have breakfast sandwiches and quesadillas. After you read the long list of options you order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Super friendly locals run it and it's very clean and spacious inside with seating and outside seating. Drinks and chips and a few sweet treats also available . I had the slim mozzarella sub which was filled with veggies and drizzled Italian dressing in a nice sub hoagie. The salt and vinegar kettle chips were great too. I shared a brownie with my friends and it was delicious. Tasted homemade. My sandwich was nice and fresh and filled me up for my 4 hour drive. My friends had the Big Neuse sub which came on a hoagie too and chock full of meat and veggies. The pizza quesadilla my other friend got looked really good and filling. Full of pepperoni and cheese on a tortilla , she took half home. We had a great early lunch here and it started to get busy as we got done. I'm sure this is a busy place for locals at lunch and breakfast. Great little place for an easy quick meal. Great service too! Not many places in Oriental so I'm glad I found another good one. read more

Easy. The place is easy to get in and out quickly. The food is simple,but good. I've been for breakfast and lunch service. My favorite are the bagels served up any way you want. The decor is no frills, but very clean. My friends order was slightly wrong,but they fixed it with a smile. Easy, like Sunday morning...which they are open by the way at 7am. Easy for grabbing sandwiches to take out on the boat or head to the beach. I recommend giving it a try. read more

Basically a bread sandwich light garnish of fillers. Atmosphere and staff are friendly food leaves a lot to be desired cost is low but prime example that you get what you pay for. I highly recommend Aggies or little Italy to get the best bang for your buck out of a sandwich. Gave this place the Benefit of the doubt been a few times I've definitely learned my lesson now. read more

This place is a gem. Very good food. We are building a campground and are moving a couple miles away. We are originally from South Jersey and know a good deli. The breakfast sandwiches are great and so is the lunch menu. They have daily specials too! Great service and sandwiches. My grilled chicken sandwich was hot, hot, hot and my husband enjoyed his Reuben. The chicken breast was a little thick for a sandwich and I ended up fighting to keep the sandwich together as I ate it. The chicken was juicy and had good flavor though. The Reuben came with a pickle but the grilled chicken sandwich did not, and I'm not sure why. Awesome little place. read more

It hit the spot. Friendly staff and enjoyed our breakfast. My wife had a wheat bagel with bacon, egg and cheese and she said it was delicious. I'm not an egg guy so had the steak burrito minus the egg. The steak was 'steak ems' but still enjoyed it. The coffee was also fresh and left with only $16 out of my pocket. Will be back. read more

When you go to a restaurant you really always have so much hope that it's gonna be such a good meal. I really enjoyed meeting the people here but the food just fell short. The chicken salad was so sweet and didn't have a serious flavor to it at all. The number 17 that I tried should've been a really good sandwich with lots of meat and cheese and flavor and instead it look like it was made with leftovers, when you didn't have enough cheese or meat and you only had bread. The beef stew was completely void of any substance and was as runny as tapwater. One coworker order the potato salad side and while I was a couple of dollars there was no more than two bites. Could've been any more of a surprise that the flavors were good for most of the things but just proportionally and Price wise out of balance. You know, despite the great people, I probably would keep driving. read more

I have gotten sandwiches there 3 times & am not a fan. The last time, I ordered a slim vegetable wrap, it hardly anything on it! The mozzarella was shredded (like you would get out of a bag for pizza!) instead of sliced fresh mozzarella. Time before I ordered a chicken parm. & a Big Neuse. The Ckn parm. was good, the Big Neuse, again hardly anything on it! First time, I ordered the chicken parm., and like I said previously, it was good. Good sandwiches, fresh. The deli interior is clean and bright. The staff are trying and for the most part succeeding. Prices are a little high ($19 for a Reuben, a Turkey & Swiss Club, a bag of chips and one drink), but overall a pleasant experience. Glad to see a new venue in town. read more

Don't pass this place without tying it. We were in town from Atlanta and stopped in for lunch. The shrimp wrap was awesome. Loaded with shrimp. I don't recall what my wife had but she was pleased as well. Their award winning chili is a must. Next morning had to try a bagel and it was very good as well.
