A great place to stop by, sit back and relax for an hour or so without spending too much. It's pricier than places in L.A. and S.F. but compare to the average massage places here, a little sacrifice in privacy is worth the saving. Especially when there is no difference in the quality of massage you receive. I am afraid I'm pampered by the newer chairs where you can recline all the way and lie prone to receive your back massage. Here, you sit upright on the ottoman as she works on your neck, shoulder and arms, and it just isn't as relaxing now that I've enjoyed the newer recliners. And oh, if you have a choice, don't pick the chairs by the wall, as they cannot recline. When the staff asks you if you want your neck and shoulder massaged, say yes. My friend said no, and she was just sitting there with feet in increasingly cool water while I got massaged on. And her foot massage started and ended the same as mine, without extra time added for not having the neck/shoulder part. Had a nice massage here last evening after having a rough week at work. The location is in a shopping center with some patrons of all kinds walking around, but there was police presence so it makes it a little bit more secure. I ended up buying the 60 min full body and 30 min foot massage. I told them I wanted deep tissue and was surprised they wanted to charged me an additional $10. WTF? Total was $90. A little pricy but anyways I needed a massage so I went along with it. The lady who massaged me did a great job. My deep massage techniques always included the use of the elbow and she did no different. I fell asleep during the treatment and if you ever catch yourself sleeping, then you know it was really good. Before the end of the massage, you get wiped down with hot towels. When I finished, the receptionist directed me to the massage chairs. The chairs are adjustable and very comfortable. I kinda wish that I opted for the 60 minute foot massage and I believe that was only $20 more but I wanted to keep it under a certain budget. My masseuse gave me a small bottle of water before my foot massage. The massage was great while listening to some smooth and soothing Chinese music. People don't realize how many nerves are in a persons foot. The guy next to me was snoring away so it must have been good for him. I know it's difficult to perform a massage and so I left a generous tip. It's not the best I've had but it's what's available. I kinda wished the receptionist would cheer up. First I want to start this review off by stating that I suffer from planter fasciitis and have been in pain on and off for almost a year. Wow... found this little hole in the wall that was located in a shopping center on the way to the airport. Awesome place given that it was Mother's Day and extremely busy. They need to expand and get a bigger place because they seemed very busy and with that being said. They already had 10 workers on hand which is unusual for little Asian spots. This is a honest massage and a very good and relaxing one. The lady that assisted me knew to take out the knots in my shoulder. She knew exactly what the remedy was and was very good. Happened to be in Hollywood today at the Yellow Green Farmer's Market and decided I needed a little pampering in the form of reflexology. I live all the way on South Beach, my experience today was excellent, I will definitely be going back to Qi. The girl at the front desk was extremely polite and even though I didn't have an appointment, she was able to accommodate. I had the 60 minute foot massage which includes a hot foot soak as well as a neck, shoulder and upper back massage. Even though the massage therapist did not speak English he completely understood me when I indicated I would like more pressure. He was not afraid to apply plenty of pressure (as i requested) to my shoulders and neck. Highly recommend this place. Excellent reflexology massage. read more

Clean establishment, easy walk in with no waiting on a Sunday afternoon. For 60 min foot massage only 38 plus tip. They start with the shoulders, do the arms and back for 30 minutes while sitting. Then it's 15 minutes per foot, and done. One large room with all the chairs and beds, not sure if they do private room massages. While I was leaving, what appeared to be a regular customer arrived, large heavy set male about 2x my size. That's good to know they can take larger folks, as it takes more horsepower to get to our tough spots. In knowing that I was going to run a half marathon on Sunday, hop on a flight to FL on Monday for a work trip, I desperately needed an early evening foot massage to look forward to. Thankfully, this showed up in my Yelp search and wasn't too far from my hotel in Miami Lakes. Without realizing it (honest mistake), I had accidentally booked THREE 1-hour appointments. Opps! It makes sense now, why they called and sent me several text confirmations. Next time (if there is one), I will pay better attention. Aside from that original blunder, of which I apologized profusely for, everything was great! They have these seriously comfortable giant, plush, chairs that lay flat. While they typically start with a shoulder massage, I opted out - it was my legs/feet that needed TLC. I soaked my feet in a tub of warm water and then they proceeded with the massage. If anything, I wish the pressure could have been super strong/consistent the entire time. I'm more of a 'no pain, no gain' type of person when it comes to massages. I have knots, they don't come loose with a gentle touch. But, nonetheless, I enjoyed it and nearly fell asleep a few times. Came here with my friend after my flight hoping to get a good massage, unfortunately that didn't happen. The man did not apply enough pressure and basically kept doing the same damn movement for 15 minutes on my shoulders at one point he was just using one hand. Same for feet. Every time I travel I stop at a place to get a massage and most of the time you lay down on your back or chest for the entire massage, here they had chairs and ottomans. They have you sit on the ottoman and they come around and "massage" your shoulders and feet. Then they have you sit on the chair/recliner and lean you back and "massage" your legs. Not even because I was so tired did I enjoy this so called massage. I'm hoping it was just the person I got, because I looked over to my friend and the lady doing hers was getting all up on her shoulders with both hands and her back using elbows and all. Why didn't someone tell me about this place? I came here with my boyfriend because of the great reviews and I LOVE the fact that the hours are extremely flexible. There are no bells or whistles either. NO ANNOYING MEMBERSHIPS OR PRESSURE TO GET ONE. YES! The price stays the same and you get what you pay for. The salon itself is not flashy at all and it's rather warm in there too so dress light. When I came, there was a couple people getting a massages. Me and my boyfriend came for the couples massage and I think we paid $120 all together plus tip (PLEASE TIP) They will kinda hint that you should tip. Bring 10$ extra. Personally I am not a massage fanatic and I like light pressure because I am sensitive to hard pressure. Communicate with your therapist. They don't speak most English but they are very attentive to you. Just communicate what you want. Again, they waste no time at all! You get in..wait for a bit, get your massage, pay and then go home. So upon my second visit here, boy has it changed my opinion. This time around we opted for the 1 hour foot massage. Our masseuses were Ann and Jenn and all I can say is wow. They applied the perfect pressure. My boyfriend enjoyed it so much he fell asleep before she could even get to the next foot. Ha ha ha. I would definitely recommend the foot massage. I am personally not a fan of the neck and shoulder massage here because of how they have you sit sort of hunched over. But if you get only the foot massage you will not be disappointed! Such a nice lady in the front, offered me bottled water. The hot stone/oil massage was incredible, as was the foot massage. The best I've had in my life. The only thing that has kept me from returning was the restroom. It was filthy, no soap or paper towel and a weird moldy shower with a moldy curtain. So small inside it was almost impossible to avoid touching it. Very dark and it looked like the toilet water was red. Scary. I had to wash my hands without soap, dry them with toilet paper and hold the door handle with toilet paper also. read more

Hello- Long time reader, first time visitor. Being a new mom, working full-time, part-time doctoral student (last two classes- woot! woot!) does not leave much room for me-time. I can't tell you the last time I had a mani-pedi and my salon days consist of me and Ms. Clairol. I have been offered babysitting many times. I just feel very guiltily leaving my LO for hour or more when my time is spread so thin as it is. One day, I saw one of my favorite yelpmigos check-in here, and I was pretty jealous. I had worked late and was stressed, working on a research project with a tight deadline. I didn't think more of it until several more check-ins over a series of subsequent days. After friendly banter through check-in comments, it was decided that Sean would introduce me to this place, with another yelpmiga, Joan joining us. (Spa day UYE!)... Joan had been there before, and concurred with Sean that this was well worth my time. I did not read any reviews before I went. I was informed by Sean and Joan that I must wear pants I could roll up and bring a headset. I told my husband of my plans in advance, and that he would be watching the baby. When I arrived I had no idea what to expect, but was excited to be out... The massage: I was introduced to the masseuse, Dolly, and shown to a very oversized chair. I may have walked in with a group, but as soon as the session began, I was alone. Immediately transported to another dimension where peace and tranquility greeted me with open arms: soft lighting, lite music. The massage began with my shoulders which was a welcome surprise since I was there for a foot massage. I was instructed to sit on the footstool while my feet luxuriously soaked in a bucket of perfectly tempered water with herbs and tea. After the shoulders, I was motioned to sit on the chair (no talking!)... I was offered a towel roll to rest my neck and one to use as a blanket. I declined the blanket as I had brought a sweater with me. As Dolly massaged my feet it was obvious that she knew what she was doing and she was extremely adept at determining my comfort level. The massage was never too rough or gentle, I felt like Goldilocks in little bear`s chair where everything was "just right." There were a few phone calls during the session. Zoe answered the phone quietly and made the conversations as quickly as possible. None of the masseuses talked during the time and were mindful of each of us maintaining our own individual tranquil states. Overall a tremendous experience. read more

After getting a great massage from Zoey last night I had to update my review. First, in my previous review I had mentioned that some of the therapists were not as good as the others. I have recently been to,I believe, all three of the therapists who work there now. Zoey Mei, and Dolly all give great massages. You cannot go wrong with any of them! Also, in my last review I mentioned that the phones ringing while getting your massage were irritating. Well since then they have silenced the phones! They really do try to keep the atmosphere as tranquil as possible. Last night I was getting a foot massage and two women who came there together were sitting and chatting very loudly. I was upset for about a minute before they quieted down. I believe that Mei, the manager said something to them very quietly and politely. Mei and her staff really care about pleasing their customers. If you do have a preference as far as the type of massage you want(i.e.firm, light) just let them know and they will gladly accommodate you. On our frequent visits to New York city, my husband and I always look forward to our visits to Chinatown for the reasonable foot massages. Well now we have them here in our own backyard. read more

I decided to try this place out because of the amazing reviews my fellow Yelpers have written. This place did not disappoint. I did not have an appointment so I was not surprised nor upset I had to wait for my massage. Instead of waiting in the front like most places do they immediately brought me to a big comfy chair and fixed a wonderful warm foot soak while I waited for my turn. They apologized several times because I had to wait which again was absolutely no problem for me because I was already getting my zen on. Anyway who doesn't like extra bonus time to relax? I requested the 30 minute foot massage and 30 minute body massage. It was absolutely wonderful. May was my masseuse whom I later found out was the owner. She asked me a few times during my service if the pressure was ok, if I was cold/hot or needed anything. She even gave me an extra 15 minutes onto my foot massage because she felt bad I had to wait. Wow. So I'm and avid massage receiver and I have to say I was a little skeptical of going to an Asian massage place because the majority of them don't have the best reputation. I am happy to report that this oriental qi foot spa business has me convinced that there is true talent in the South Florida region. I had a 90 minute session and it was only $80 which is an incredible price. The foot massage and The pressure of the body massage were perfect at times it could be a little deep in the calf areas but other than that, it was really really good. I tipped $20 because they deserve it and I paid full price because paying any less, even if they have a Yelp offer seems wrong. They worked so hard and we so respectful,courteous and friendly! Spontaneous and surprised at the results! Left work and needed some alone ME time, thanks to yelp who helped me find this place. Never expected for the prices to be so cheap!!! As soon as you walk in, you feel transported to Asia, well decorated, big comfy arm rest sofas. Soft music playing in the background. Everything just right! Even got offered hot tea. Since it was my first time the lady noticed that I was overwhelmed with the choices cause I wanted them all, she was nice enough to offer me the combo and that way I could decide which service I enjoyed the most. I picked the combo 30 minutes body massage and 30 minutes foot massage which was TO DIE for!!! The body massage was ok, don't like the smell of the oil- smells like vegetable oil !! After I was done the same lady approached me and asked me if I had enjoyed it- nice touch from her. After hearing so many good things about this place from girlfriends that had visited, my sweet and thoughtful boyfriend got me a gift certificate for an hour foot massage for my birthday :) The day of my appointment, the weather was pretty bad and traffic was even worse. I got stuck on the turnpike which made me almost 15 mins late for my appointment. I spoke to them on the phone and they were very nice and accommodating and still took me. When I arrived, the place was empty. I was the only customer (yay!). It was dimly lit and soft piano music played overhead. I started to relax right away. I was greeted by my masseuse who gave me a warm bucket of water and herbs to soak my feet while she began to message my neck and shoulders for about 15 minutes. It was just the right amount of pressure and it felt so good I almost forgot about the foot massage I still had coming up! For the foot massage I sat in a big comfy reclining leather chair where they give you a pillow and blanket to snuggle in. She spent 30 uninterrupted minutes on each foot, massaging, stretching and pampering them all the way up to the calves. They focus on pressure points so some parts of my feet were sensitive which was a little uncomfortable (she was WORKING my arches!) but it still felt really, really good. By the time it was all done, I really felt like I was floating. Just heavenly!! Can't wait to go back! One minor setback: some women walked in for their appointment and there was some mixup which resulted in them talking for a few minutes with the receptionist. The place is small and there are no private rooms so I could hear everything which was slightly disruptive to my "zen" state. Still looking forward to my next trip! read more
