Nice cafe place! Loved their coffee! Their clam chowder with oysters is simply outstanding--rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the briny sweetness of the fresh oysters. Their crème brûlée was delightful. The caramelized sugar crust had the perfect crunch, and the custard was silky, flavorful, and indulgent.

This hidden gem cafe in Richmond offers high quality seafood meals and dishes Everything is made fresh and to perfection. We were super excited for the matcha lava cake and it did not disappoint! The iced mango tea was just the right amount of sweet and the cheesecap was super pleasant to pair with the rest of the drink. What we tried: * Lobster croissant * Smoked salmon salty yolk croissant * Matcha lava cake * Crème brûlée * Bafin uni ikura oyster * oyster Motoyaki * baked oyster * Iced Belgium dark chocolate milk * Iced mango cheesecap (less sweet)

Nice looking cafe inside the Pacific Plaza food court. Parking is available This place seems to sell seafood dishes, pastries, and bubble tea and coffee. The seafood is what makes this place stick out. With that said, the prices were not cheap. The bubble tea I had was pretty tasty, though the cup was smaller than usual. Tasty and hit the spot.

Having been an engineer, their passion of culinary art has driven them to give up lucrative job and opened The Origin cafe. If you look around the decor and their menu, you know they have passion in provide an enjoyable foodie experience. The coffee was very good but I really enjoyed the mango drink with cheese top. Smooth and very good mango... Flavorful, aromatic and sweet. There was a drink called Coff-beer. I'm gonna have to try that next time if I don't get tempted but all the other crafted drinks they offer. They were very courteous as well. When places are busy, hard to offer good service but they sure made you feel good shopping there. Rooting for them!!

Lunch Lobster Laksa $16 This restaurant name tells you the rating. It is located in the food court at Pacific Plaza in Richmond. @geetastegood ! They are busy cooking in the kitchen all the time so remember to ring the bell to get their attention. I have waited for only less than 10 mins for the food. The Lobster Laksa consists of lobster tails, sliced eggs, fish cake, tofu puff, bean sprouts, vermicelli and laksa rice noodles, served in coconut milk spicy soup. It would be better if they can separate the lobster meat from the shell before cooking. It will be easier to enjoy the lobster meat. The soup is kind of oily due to the spicy oil so you have to stir the soup. Taste: 4/5 We also tried two drinks @origindelightcafe The owner and the staff are very friendly. It's interesting to see this cafe serving burgers, steak, salad and oysters. Unfortunately, they stop serving the burgers and steak. Hope the burger will come back and I can try it next time as there are many positive reviews about the burger. Mango Slush Oh, I love this mango slush as I can taste the fresh mango with the pulp. It would be better if they can make the ice very fine. Taste: 4/5 Iced Hawaii Tea (half sweetened) It's an interesting refreshing jelly beans flavor tea. Oyster motoyaki and AAA/Angus burger

Passed by this place a few times in the food court and finally decided to try. The concept with coffee, oysters, and burgers/steak is a little bizarre but at the end of the day the product is great. We ordered the oyster motoyaki ($7/2pcs) and they were exquisite, flavourful but light for a motoyaki. Reasonably priced as well The burger was very juicy and definitely for meatlovers. Felt the bun could've been a bit better at containing this burger but it's not a deal breaker. At $10 the quality and flavour is top notch. We also tried their peach oolong cheese cap drink. The cheese cap was light and not overly salty/thick like some other places. Good tea flavour and a very refreshing and reasonably priced drink. Service was very friendly from both the staff. Wish they had a tip option when paying with card.

    Delicious Americano Misto
    Lisa L.

The girl at the front counter was extremely patient and helpful in answering our questions and providing suggestions on what to get. She took her time to explain and we did not feel rushed at all. I got an Americano misto and a pistachio creme Brule. Both were great! Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a pick me up

This place can be easily missed if you're not looking - it's located within the food court. We had an iced latte and the purple yam latte. The ice latte we ordered was a large size, so we were concerned the milk to espresso ratio would be off, but it was very good. The purple yam latte was mild in flavour but not sweet and had little pieces of yam inside. We also heard their oysters and steak are good, so we definitely will need to come back to try them

    Delicious!

This is one of the best Angus burger I have tried! It's worth the value. The juiciness and full of flavour after taste is strong. Highly recommended and will want to try their oysters next time.

The teapots were, as is industry standard, a little flimsy, but with enough care they worked well and i had warm tea throughout the meal. I had time to appreciate the freshly painted furniture, the cozy hanging lighting, and the cleanliness of both the table, silverware, and washrooms. The paintings were very nice! The kind of facilities you'd come to expect walking in. The service was excellent, our server was cheerful and kind. While I didn't have silverware intitially, I was still in a yolking mood, it didn't bother me in the slightest, The tables were preset, so really, it isn't a fault of theirs. Our server was attentive and careful, and we felt welcome. It felt easy to come out of my shell. The food was incredible, and made my morning. I ended up finishing my friends' plates! We all got benedict, the avocado, shrimp, and duck. Having tried them all, i would most recommend the duck. It was incredibly tender and the sauce worked well with the holliandaise. The shrimp was delicious, the fish paste took well, though the shrimp were a bit chewy and difficult to cut. I had been craving an eggs benedict, so i came to the professionals. Despite their reputation, they still exceeded my eggspectations! Five Stars.

Friendly staff, tons of parking (as connected to a hotel), close enough to access from the bigger road without a lot of effort, decently priced brunch (which I think is hard to find in any of the greater Vancouver areas) & lots of different table sizes. I especially appreciated the waitress seating me at a place I requested (so my cane wouldn't be an issue for safety to others trying to get to tables or even serve me). Bathroom was large & easy to access, even though it's all the way at the back of the restaurant. Lots of natural light from the big windows & it was nice for those of us seated along the sunnier side to be able to adjust the blinds ourselves. I also was impressed with how the noise didn't bother me on such a large place. I know it wasn't nearly anywhere near full capacity while I was leisurely enjoying my meal there, but still enough people (and families with younger kids) to know how sound would carry.

The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.

The matcha drinks and desserts were beautifully presented and tasted rich and authentic, with that deep, fragrant matcha flavor that's never too sweet. We have today: Hojicha shaved ice, replaced with matcha ice cream. This location in Richmond had ran out of Hojicha ice cream for a long time. We asked every time when they will have hojicha ice cream back and staff doesn't know either. Hojicha Chestnut Shortcake, Cake is soft and fluffy, and very too sweet. It is always my favorite. This time i gave a 4 stars is because they discontinue serving Onigiri ( rice ball) and savory item. That's too bad! I love their Onigiri and ramen! When I had the chance to go to Vancouver, BC with my boyfriend I wanted to go here! First all, you need a reservation specifically for the high tea portion so we booked that ahead of time. As you go in you are led to an area of Tsujiri where there are just tatami mats and no shoes are allowed on it. We were first sat down with matcha to start with and the music surrounding us was serene and calming. Then came the high tea, compared to your usual high tea, without the Japanese fusion. This came with a lot of interesting treats. In the middle tier, there was your savory two different types of onigiri, savory rice cakes, and elevated salad with a jelly. The salad was incredible and unlike anything I've had before. The onigiris were good as they should be so was the rice cakes. Top tier and bottom tier consisted of the desserts one plate for me and one plate for my boyfriend. My favorite was the mango mochi. It was so creamy and delicious! The other dessert was solid too, I like the little mousse cake. I also liked the add on of a matcha sauce for the fruits. Tsujiri definitely transformed high tea into a Japanese version and it was well put. Both usually make me full. I do wish there was more options on savories you could have before eating the sweets, but this is a slightly different experience.
