I love this place. I wish I could eat here everyday. I've tried at least 15-20 items on the menu and have not had any bad meals.

The Thai coconut chicken bowl from ChopShop will forever be my favorite meal. I love how light and healthy it is while still coming packed with flavor. I ALWAYS opt for the sweet potato hash as one of my sides as it's to die for. The sauce on this bowl is so yummy. The waitress accidentally made one of my sides the roasted veggies when I didn't want to order that, but they actually were really good so I didn't mind. Our food came out really fast which was great as we were in a hurry. I liked that this location has an all day breakfast menu so I'll have to check that out sometime. While the place was busy, there's so many tables and seating options we were fine for our small group for lunch.

Awhile back, Yelp had a perk for their Elites try out Chop Shop over in Paradise Valley and I loved the food I tried back then, so tonight stopped in to have one of their protein bowls. My favorite and the only one I have ever tried was the Thai coconut chicken bowl. I had this again tonight but chose tofu instead of chicken tonight, I also had the veggies base, plus jasmine rice and potato has as second base. It comes topped with peanuts and cilantro. You order your food digitally and in about 5-10 minutes, food was ready! I took it home to eat and pretty much inhaled all of it! I love this dish and thought the price wasn't too bad. A pretty filling bowl that's fairly healthy was $12.50. I'll definitely be back (they have many locations throughout the Valley) when I'm in the mood to have some tofu/chicken that's cooked in a Thai coconut style, loaded with yummy veggies!

Food was very average. Not a lot of chicken or anything else for that matter on the salad. I wouldn't choose to go back here.

ChopShop is awesome. The people who work here are so nice and they seem to all love their jobs! Everything is made fresh and it's very healthy! The food is amazing. I love that it's not just plain old chicken and rice, they add vegetables, hummus, sauces, etc. The lemonade is amazing! I would highly recommend. Overall, I will definitely come back. I look forward to adding more to my review after visiting again!

More than half the bowl was lettuce and tomatoes.

The inside is really nice and clean but other than that I wasn't a fan. I ordered the glow up protien smoothie and a hot honey chicken bowl that came out to $22 which before trying them I thought were decently priced. The bowl had nice flavor but mostly consisted of lettuce & tomatoes & hardly any chicken or rice. The protien smoothie kind of just tasted like coconut milk and was extremely watery with chunks of protien in every sip. I didn't finish either of them.

I had a great first experience here a week ago, the bowl was amazing, and I recommended it to friends and family. But when I went back for a pickup order, it was a completely different story. The steak was burnt, the sweet potatoes had a weird aftertaste, and the avocado was just a few tiny pieces. One of my chicken sides was almost empty. Really disappointing after such a strong first visit, seems like consistency is an issue.

Good fresh food but the portion/size & the cost just didn't make sense for me. I'm all for healthy eating for a better lifestyle and I was looking for something light... but it wasn't enough for the amount $$ I spent! Service was great as the staff was super friendly & helpful with me make my choice. Had the Caesar Salad with Chicken & The Chicken Kale sandwich. Good eats prices like an entree, served up like it was a mini-appetizer. Good tasting healthy quality food but too $rich$ for me for what I got in return. I'd recommend it for those looking for healthier options, but I feel like other equivalent options are available & better priced at other places.

I LOVE the Original ChopShop -- it is my fav super healthy "fast food" eatery! I think the price points of each item are fair based on portion sizes and the quality of the food. I personally REALLLLY enjoy the Hot Honey Chicken Hummus Bowl, Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, and Acai Bowl w/ peanut butter and extra granola. This S Tempe location is a nice size, very clean, modern looking, the staff is friendly/helpful, and the grub is on point!

I love a dog friendly patio!

Love this location because there's ample parking in the lot and a lot of seating both inside and out. Service was very friendly from the lady taking orders. My cousin loved the Balanced Bowl she ordered, which looked really healthy and filling Now for the not so great - the açaí bowl. I came here specifically because I was craving an açaí bowl and I read other reviews that said it was good here. Unfortunately, my açaí bowl was too melted. It was half melted when it arrived to the table and as I was eating it, it basically turned into açaí soup because it just didn't have that nice frozen consistency to begin with. So I enjoyed the flavor and the toppings but not the texture of the açaí portion of the bowl. I'd definitely eat here again, but next time I would try ordering a rice bowl instead. P.s. the patio is dog friendly, which I love

Azbel was a great server. I had the bistro steak and fries and the Szechuan lettuce wraps, and both were really good. Portions were generous. During late-night happy hour my total was about $55 for a main entrée, an appetizer, a cocktail, and tip, which felt like a great deal. I was pleasantly surprised that happy hour runs every day Monday through Sunday from 3-6 PM and again from 8 PM to close. I also checked out the event venue on site, and it looks like it would be a great place for a company party, corporate event, or group gathering. I'll definitely be returning in the near future.

The exterior had a satisfying caramelized crust while the inside remained wonderfully succulent. I asked our server if the salad was large enough to share? It was but the menu says if you order the salad with an entree it's only $10. The waiter added the $14 salad because the $10 salad isn't enough to share. Also what kind of steak house doesn't have a wedge? Wedges are always enough to split. And many places have an option to split for a few dollars more. The cost of soups and salads is getting out of hand.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, but we sat at the bar with two regulars, so you already know it had that neighborhood favorite feel. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I tried the lunch special on the wall: green chili pork soup and the MEAT-ZA flatbread with red sauce, pepperoni, sausage, salami, and Italian seasoning. So good and perfect for a casual lunch. Great drinks, good food, and friendly service. Definitely a solid Tempe hangout.

STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND READ THIS--Portillo's at 7200 W Ray Rd in Chandler Has Just Redefined…read more"Heaven on a Plate" with the BIG BEEF DIPPED and That CHEESE SAUCE... OMG! I've had Italian Beef before. I've loved Italian Beef before. But nothing--NOTHING--prepared me for the transcendent, jaw-dropping, flavor-explosion experience that is ordering the Big Beef DIPPED at this Chandler location. If you haven't done it yet, you haven't lived. And if you've had it elsewhere but haven't had it here with their cheese sauce... well, buckle up, because you're about to discover your new favorite thing on the entire planet. From the second you walk into Portillo's on Ray Road, you can smell the magic--crisp sport peppers, rich au jus, and that unmistakable aroma of slow-roasted beef that makes your stomach growl instantly. But the real moment of truth comes when you look that server in the eye and say: "I'll take the Big Beef, DIPPED, LOADED with cheese sauce. And I mean loaded." Watch their face light up--they know. They understand. This is not just a sandwich; it's a ritual, and this location performs it with reverence. Then it arrives. Oh. My. Goodness. The bread is drenched--and I mean perfectly, gloriously drenched--in that deep, savory au jus, so every inch is saturated with rich, beefy flavor. It's not soggy; it's luscious. It's a sponge for joy. And then... the cheese sauce. Sweet, spicy, velvety, liquid gold--it's like someone took pepper jack, dreams, and a touch of heaven and whipped it into a creamy, molten ribbon that cascades over every millimeter of that dipped bread and tender, shreddy beef. The first bite is not just a meal--it's a religious experience. The crunch of the giardiniera, the pop of a sport pepper, the warm, juicy beef, the cheese sauce pulling in golden strands... it's an OMG moment so intense you might actually forget your own name for a second. You'll hear yourself making sounds you didn't know you could make. You might cry a little (happy tears). You might order a second one before you've even finished the first. And here's the thing--the Chandler location executes this with flawless, almost artistic precision. The line moves fast, the staff is smiling, and they don't skimp. They don't hold back on the beef, they don't drizzle the cheese sauce like it's an afterthought--they PILE IT ON with pride. You can tell this team lives for these moments. They're not just serving food; they're delivering pure, unadulterated happiness. Even the atmosphere feels electric--like everyone in the room knows they're about to have their day made. You'll see strangers nodding at each other in mutual respect over their sandwiches. You'll hear "OMG!" echoed across the dining room (seriously). And when you finish that Big Beef Dipped--cheese sauce glistening on every corner, not a drop of au jus left--you'll sit back with a food coma smile so wide it hurts, already plotting your next visit. Bottom line: If you are within 50 miles of 7200 W Ray Rd, you have no excuse. Go. Right now. Order the Big Beef DIPPED with EXTRA cheese sauce. Thank me later. And maybe bring a napkin--because that cheese sauce is so good, you're going to want to lick every last drop off your fingers. Five stars? Try FIVE OUT OF FIVE STARS PLUS A STANDING OVATION! This is the best sandwich I've ever had in my life, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal to be this good.

Grilled chicken is an add-on, which I paid for, so that was frustrating. I got back in line to fix it. The remake came with no chicken and no blue cheese, but I'd already put dressing on the first one and could see where someone had picked the blue cheese out. Still no chicken either time. Today I tried the drive-thru. No one was taking orders at the speaker. After about five minutes I pulled up to the window and waited another five. Nobody came out or acknowledged me, so I left. I get why other Portillo's locations have lines around the block and this one doesn't. It feels mismanaged and like the staff just doesn't care. Shorter, review-site friendly version Two bad visits in a row at this Portillo's. 1. Ordered a chopped salad with grilled chicken, no blue cheese. Got blue cheese, no chicken. The remake had no blue cheese but still no chicken, and you could tell the cheese had been picked out of the original. 2. Drive-thru today: no one at the speaker for 5 minutes. Pulled to the window, waited another 5 minutes. No response, so I left. Other Portillo's are packed for a reason. This location seems mismanaged and understaffed.
