The food it's live crawfish based review so I've tried most of their locations and have had exceptional service and food. HERE NEVER AGAIN! I mentioned the first pound was over cooked hard to peel and asked to cook them a little less bartender did so not a huge change in quality but I know the effort was there once shift change the experience plummeted QUICKLY. WAY OVER COOKED! only this location with this issue though. This place their ambiance is larger and offer patio dining their bartenders are very green after not drinking anything including water and eating 3 pounds of crawfish 2 alcoholic drinks prior I was told I was cut off after I finished pound 3 because I ordered a third alcoholic drink. Confused still today I'm confused I had been there since 2 and it was now 6 because I know my limits with food and alcohol. I still tipped 10% but as someone who tips great it was more charity than deserving. I would recommend any location outside this one.

Usually, we love coming to angry crab shack. We've tried many around the valley. This one was a little slow to greet us and we saw others have the same issue upon arrival. The food was tasty and the server was nice. Nothing notable to say that makes this angry crab shack stand out from any others.

If I could give more than 5 , I absolutely would! The food was incredible, and our server, Mars, went above and beyond to make our experience perfect. The assistant manager even stopped by to share some great tips for enjoying the crab and lobster -- such a nice touch! Our party of 15 couldn't stop raving about everything we ordered, and the calamari...Hands down the best I've ever had! Looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Food was good. I'm from the Northwest so I'm used to fresh seafood. But it was good and expected. The service was great the young lady was helpful and attentive. The ambiance reminded me of 90's grunge. But I love the 90's so it was cool.

The best crawfish I've ever had!!!! Went for a late dinner the other night and we definitely made the right choice. This place was fun, fast, and delicious. I went with the live crawfish, and queen crab. Absolutely delicious.

The food was good, had no issues and the server was very nice! however can't say the same for the hosts. first impressions are important when I walk into a restaurant which is the only reason I'll give 3 stars. I wasn't greeted or smiled at. Just told "follow me" with attitude.

The settings relaxed which is nice, though it's a bit loud when they start ringing the bell and sounding the alarms in there - that is something I could have done without. The service was good. The food was overall decent with the exception of the chicken strips, they weren't even real chicken. It was the nasty ground up stuff. I broke one open and immediately sent them back. Everything else was good though, so we left full. All in all, not a bad place to grab some cheap seafood.

Head off shrimp bag with veggies : 10/10 Spice level Trifecta 3 : could have gone spicier!

We absolutely love Angry Crab, there are a lot of seafood boil places out there, but none that beat the flavors of Angry Crab! We actually loved the old location in the Ahwatukee Foothills better but this location is second best. I wish they had a bigger bar with more selections like the old one, so we just sit at the tables here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. We always split a bag of head off shrimp with veggies and sausage! Plus we ALWAYS order extra sauces for dipping! I really like the flavor of the two and three but my husband really enjoys spice but he prefers the flavor of four more than the five. Both are super spicy but the five seems to make him feel sick after eating it... FYI if You're debating between the two! It's the perfect amount of food and if you're extra hungry grab some French fries on happy hour for a starter cause they are excellent! The spice here is so addictive you'll be craving it the very next day however take some enzymes before going and prepare for some stanky burps! Not a good first date place for sure;)

Not the best tasting seafood. Sauce is a little watery and not super flavorful. The potatoes were just a little undercooked for my liking.

From the moment we walked in, the vibes were great - our waitress was super friendly, the 90's playlist was hitting, and the food was DELICIOUS as always! We started with happy hour hurricanes, half a dozen raw oysters, and fried okra. First of all... they do NOT play with those hurricanes because that drink was STRONG!!! We almost ordered the jumbo platter, but ended up getting two pounds of live crawfish and shrimp with a few sides in their medium house blend. Perfect amount of spice - enough of a kick to satisfy, but still super flavorful and enjoyable. The ambiance was chill and relaxed, probably because they had just opened for lunch, which made it even better. Definitely recommend this spot if you're craving a good seafood boil!

We have been here on the weekend and also during the week - service & food quality remains consistent. Personal Fav is the Cajun Garlic shrimp then add potato & sausage for a good mix of textures & taste. My ONLY "note"....eating is a multi sense experience. Eyes, nose, mouth & Ears. The music did not match the theme or vibe, at times it was a bit jarring. Try adding jazz or blues type background music to complete the Experience . My kiddos will not eat seafood (yet, we will get there) so we get them a Chicken Tender meal and that chicken is so fresh & "tender"! Nicely breaded, crisp not soggy. Crispy skinny fries. Good job

My friend and I went for the all White party on the Fourth of July. It was so nice to see the array of white outfits, and even before that, we were impressed by the complementary valet (which work off of donation). We had reservations, thankfully, because it was a packed house. The dining area very much gives what it's supposed to, and feels very nice, yet fun. The franchise band was playing, and babyy I would've just came for their concert! That lead singer is a powerhouse, and altogether they really set the tone for the night and created such a special and entertaining ambience. The food was equally as stimulating. From the appetizers, my delicious mocktail, to the entrées, my taste buds were literally rejoicing. This place hit so many marks, really this is a must when you come to this area. My senses were in shambles all night long and I was in heaven! We got the Rockefeller oysters appetizer (so good), as well as the crabcakes and greens (also delicious). For entrées, we ordered the salmon and the ribs. The ribs were fantastic, as we are the sides of the carrots and creamed corn. The only issue we had this evening, was with the salmon. We were pretty disappointed, especially since our server really recommended it, and spoke to its flavor. However, when it arrived, it was really lacking said flavor. It was borderline bland. However, this was very quickly rectified when we spoke to our server then the manager. He was really pleasant and helpful, making it so that this was a non-issue. I will most definitely be back, and soon!

I'm giving this restaurant two stars solely because of the food and atmosphere. The food was…read moreexcellent, and the ambiance was exactly what you'd expect from a fine dining restaurant. Unfortunately, the service fell well below those expectations. From the moment we were seated, we felt overlooked. We waited approximately 25 minutes before anyone approached our table. One staff member came by to take our drink order, left, and then another server came over and asked for our drink order again. While I understand that servers sometimes switch sections, it gave the impression that our table had been forgotten. Unfortunately, the service never improved. Throughout the evening, we repeatedly had to flag down our server just to place our food order, request water and drink refills, have our finished plates cleared, and ask about birthday dessert options. We were celebrating a birthday, and although the hostess knew this when we checked in for our reservation, our server never acknowledged the occasion or asked if we were celebrating anything special. When our steaks arrived, we also realized we hadn't been given steak knives. We had to flag down a different server to ask for them because we couldn't get our own server's attention. Our mac and cheese was also forgotten. After reminding our server, it took another 10 minutes to arrive. Mistakes happen, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay, nor was there any effort to make up for the inconvenience. What was most disappointing was that our server appeared attentive to the surrounding tables while we consistently struggled to get assistance. On several occasions, we tried to get someone's attention as staff walked by, only to be told, "Hold on," before they continued past our table. I completely understand that restaurants can be short-staffed or exceptionally busy. My husband use to be a server, so I genuinely appreciate how demanding the job can be and try to be very understanding. If we had simply been told that they were running behind or short-staffed, we would have been much more patient. Instead, it felt like we were responsible for initiating every interaction throughout the meal rather than receiving the level of service expected at a fine dining establishment. The food itself deserves a great deal of praise. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-prepared, and thoroughly enjoyable. We truly enjoyed every bite, and that's the only reason this review isn't one star. Spending over $700 for our table, combined with an automatic gratuity that we couldn't adjust, made the experience even more disappointing. At this price point, we expected attentive, proactive service to match the outstanding food. We left wishing the service had reflected the same level of quality as the kitchen because this restaurant has the potential to provide an exceptional dining experience.
