Q: Why did the Chicken Tikka Masala cross the road? A: Because it was in a Curry! It has been a minute but I had seen the Instagram "hack" where someone said to try cheese pizza with butter chicken. When my friend rediscovered that video, we decided we had to try it. How can it go wrong? It's like dipping a more flavorful and greasy naan bread in some delicious Indian cuisine. We ordered butter chicken and tikka masala here and they were both flavorful. We had placed an order for pick-up and we arrived late so it wasn't super hot but that's on us. The flavor itself was decent and the portion size was okay. They really do give you a lot of protein here. Not bad, Nandini! Not bad! I'm not sure I would tell everyone to try using cheese pizza for your naan bread substitute, it was a bit much and adds so much calories, but you won't be disappointed. Enjoy life.

I ordered butter chicken and it was okay, but I think I would order something else next time. My friend got mutter paneer and that was good. The place was quiet and decorated nicely. We were the only customers at the time. The only bad thing about it is we felt that we needed to talk quietly and it felt awkward. But overall a decent experience. Honestly I think the review could be higher if I tried something else and it was a different day.

The food was amazing. The service was amazing. I ended up bringing a friend and telling even more!

Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Rice, Plain Naan

I ordered from this place on Uber eats after comparing reviews to other Indian food places. My order was done quickly and arrived still hot. I ordered chicken tikka masala, garlic rice, and plain naan. The chicken tikka masala was salty and had no spice. The serving was TINY for the $16.99 price tag. The garlic rice was a bit oily but tasted good. The naan was good. Nothing special. I probably wouldn't order here again because chicken tikka masala is my favorite and one of the main things I order from Indian restaurants and it just wasn't good.

Closest to the camera is Mutter Paneer, farthest from the camera is Butter Chicken and rice. And the the right is the garlic naan!

Overall the food was GREAT! I got the Mutter Paneer and my friend got Butter Chicken. Everything was delicious and the garlic Naan was thin but had great flavor. Our two servers seemed like they didn't want to talk to us too much, and when they did it seemed a bit forced. It was quiet when we went and it looks like they have a bar as well. I can imagine it's still fairly quiet when there's more people. Overall very good!!!

Almost gone it was so good!

For 20.00 on a weekdays, you can have quality at almost every food hot bar in this joint. Their Cajun Shrimp and Corn are spot on. Not Boiling Crab level but far better than many Buffett places across the country. The Beef ribs is straight up Chinese influenced, sweet, sauce drenched in five spices, cinnamon, bay leaves, rock sugar and cloves--- a first in a Buffett setting 滷lu牛niu肉rou braised beef. And for a plate of on the spot hibachi pasta.......this is by far the best hibachi spaghetti Mongolian beef plate I've had in ages. Not even sure Vegas has any of these Chinese Seafood Surviving Buffetts either. Definitely on my recommend list for price to quality to value for a super Buffett! It had your standard American breakfast staples along with items I would consider for dinner like prime rib and oysters. Our server was great - she wasn't frazzled by our large group and made sure each one of us was taken care of. The ambiance was super casual and at times busy; it is a buffet after all. Although everyone enjoyed their time here, including myself, I would not go out of my way to return. This is so out of the way for me and there is nothing extraordinary that would compel me to come back on my own.

Probably they were frozen after being cooked. Oysters on the half shell were slightly dehydrated and their taste was off. Bagels with cream cheese and lox was good but the little slice of lox on top was very small, I was tempted to take 4 bagels and just take the toppings off of them. Prime rib was expertly roasted rare, but the meat quality was probably USDA SELECT in grade. The sautéed green beans were great. The fried shrimp was mediocre at best; probably frozen right out of the bag. Menudo was also mediocre in taste, the flavor should have been rich and deep, but it tasted pretty flat. No dim sum and that surprised me. Dim sum used to be a standard offering. I love Sunday brunches but I really gotta find another place.

I forgot if the reservation was for 10AM or 10:30AM so I called to confirm. Another representative working today (Thursday) told me that they don't do reservations, it's first come, first served. I asked to speak to the person I spoke to on Tuesday who told me I had a reservation but they aren't there today. Real nice, Mission Grille... SENTRY - WATCHING RESTAURANTS…read more Lin's Grand Buffet 3955 E. Baseline Road Phoenix, 85042+ Companion and I wanted to try a new Chinese buffet, and Lin's came to mind. We had heard both positives and negatives about it so it was about time to make up my own mind. We arrived at 5:00 and were seated immediately. The buffet looked interesting with about 6 rows of items to peruse. Companion went first and when he returned I got a plate and began my tour. First item on my plate was the seafood boil. Crawdads, shrimp, mussels, corn on cob, potatoes and lots of cajun spice. If it had been hotter it would have been wonderful. Next I started down a row of hotel pans, picking those items that seemed interesting to me. Shrimp in various incarnations, beef and broccoli, pork egg roll, potsticker, sticky pork rib, velveted pepper steak with onions, and a couple of pieces of sushi. The shrimp was nicely cooked and the pepper steak was tender and properly cooked. The sushi was unremarkable and the egg roll was soggy and without merit. The potsticker was nice as was a piece of fried banana. Sanitation in the food areas was excellent with counters being wiped down as needed. I also noted one of the chefs in the Mongolian BBQ area wiping down the tiles on the wall, which was quite impressive. However, not all was great. Food was tepid at best and while I did not have a thermometer with me my estimate was that none of the food was over 100 degrees. The restrooms were a different story. The ladies room was properly clean and appointed with nothing but a few drops of water on the floor by the sink. However, companion went into the men's room and took a picture for me. It could not pass any type of inspection by any person. Normally I would have handed my companion my ultra violet light which I use when checking bathrooms, but why waste the batteries? The place was filthy and the toilets were terrible. No use to stand upon the seat, the crabs in here can jump six feet! Companion remarked that it was disgusting and he forgoed using the facility. Our bill for 2 was $36.11, which is about what other buffet charge, however, I've eaten at much better buffets for this amount. 3 stars
