I had a party of 6 and we ordered: 6 Mango Lassis, 1 Mild Butter Chicken, 1 Lamb Tikka Supreme 16" Large Pizza, 3 Garlic Naans, 1 Masala Fries with Tamarind Chutney, 1 Naan Taco with Tamarind Chutney and Lamb Tikka, 1 order of Samosas with Tamarind Chutney, 1 Samosa Chaat with Tamarind Chutney, and 1 Large Rice. Yes, that was a lot of food. Yes, I know what you're thinking. And no... we didn't take anything home. Why? BECAUSE WE ATE EVERY. LAST. BITE. Typically my family eats, then takes leftovers home for later, but we genuinely could not stop eating. The first thing that came out was the Lamb Tikka Supreme Pizza and OH MY HEAVENS... that combination was insane in the BEST way possible. We got the 16" large, so our party of six got about two slices each, and honestly? Who knew curry on pizza would work THIS well? So creative and SO flavorful. Then we tried the naan taco and Masala fries because... well... IT'S A NAAN TACO. I HAD TO. And let me just say: both somehow exceeded every expectation I already had. Usually when restaurants try fusion combinations like this, one part falls behind -- maybe the texture is off or the flavors don't fully come together -- but they absolutely perfected it here. Every bite had crunch, crispiness, flavor, and balance. And being able to wash it all down with a creamy mango lassi??? Ughhhh somebody pinch me, I'm in paradise. (The mango lassis were in the fridge by the ice cream, by the way.) Of course I also had to try the classic butter chicken because I judge places by how well they execute the classics... and WOW. God dammit, it was magnificent. Don't even get me started on the perfectly buttery, crispy naan. Or the samosa chaat, which was super filling but somehow still had this refreshing sauce that kept making me go back for another bite. For dessert we ordered Gajar Halwa, Matka Kulfi, and Kesar Pista. Honestly? I had NO idea what any of those were when I ordered them. But now that I've tried all three (and they were ALL amazing), here's how I'd describe them: Gajar Halwa tastes like carrot cake filling had a relationship with rice pudding and caramelized milk flavors... and then BOOM Gajar Halwa was born. Matka Kulfi is served in a clay pot and has a creamier, denser texture than regular ice cream. It has a frozen condensed milk cheesecake type of energy. Kesar Pista (saffron and pistachio) tasted like pistachio gelato with floral vanilla-honey notes. Overall: 10/10. The food came out with perfect timing despite us ordering enough food to feed a mini army. At the time there only seemed to be two workers and I genuinely have NO idea how they were doing it all. Man years ago, there was a restaurant in Houston that I used to love. It was a unique concept: Indian-inspired pizza. I love that restaurant. So I was excited to hear there's a similar concept in Tempe. I stopped by on a Monday for an early dinner. Parking wasn't an issue in the free lot they share with several other businesses including Wingstop. Ambiance (3.5/5): This is a casual eatery. And a relatively small one at that. There are 10 tables or so. The type of place you go for the food, and not the ambiance. Service (2/5): You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. The guy working the cash register seemed to be out of it. I pretty much had to guide him to do his job. A little frustrating, but not a big deal because service isn't a big part of the experience here anyways. Drinks (4.5/5): They have Indian beer, they have mango lassi, so that alone makes it an interesting assortment. I ended up going with a cheaper option: a bottled Mexican Coke. They have a decent selection of bottled beverages as well as fountain drinks. Food (4/5): While they have some items on the menu outside of this, I recommend you try one of their Indian pizzas. That means you should add Indian ingredients to your pizza. That's what makes the establishment unique. I created my own pizza. You choose from two sizes and you can select up to three toppings, your sauce base, and cheese. I went with the masala sauce, chicken tikka, lamb tikka, and paneer. The pizzas are made to order and came out nice and hot. First off, beyond the uniqueness of the offering, the pizza is quite good. Two different types of meats and a special cheese made it a delicious pizza. The crust is buttered, and while it's not thin crust, the pizza is on the thinner side. There were some red peppers on my pizza. I didn't order any. I'm not sure if it was a mistake or it's part of the masala sauce. Either way, I'm not a fan of peppers so I had to pick them out of my pizza which was a bit annoying. Still worth it given how good the pizza is. It came with sliced purple onion and cilantro on top, which I enjoyed. I got the chipotle mayo dipping sauce with them and it was phenomenal! The naan was good. My girl friends wanted to get some Indian food for dinner and we squared on this place. Located near tempe lake this place is easy to find. We learnt that its a sister restaurant of the Guru Palace in mesa. We went ahead an ordered Masala fries and masala wings for appetizer and spicy paneer pizza and paneer naan tacos for entree, couple of matka kulfi for desserts. The Masala fries was delicious, it was not soggy, had the tikka masala and cheese, great flavors and we loved it. However the masala wings was not up to the mark, it had the same tikka masala base but lacked spice and it was bland. The pizza was great, all the bases are same tikka masala, with different toppings. I wouldn't recommend the paneer naan tacos, The tacos were really thick and heavy it wasn't like a regular naan, we just ate the toppings and left the base. Dessert is from a brand called Vadilal and we went with rose and kesar. Both were excellent. Pricing is really good, the ambiance is divey and quick. Overall few items were a hit and miss. read more

I've been meaning to check this place out and finally got the chance to yesterday for lunch. I ordered the samosa chaat and my sister ordered the chicken madam masala. Of the two dishes, the samosa chaat was by far the standout! Absolutely delicious. The chicken masala was okay but not something I think we would order again. Garlic naan was also quite good. I'm excited to come back and try one of the pizzas!! The man helping us (I believe he's the owner) was very helpful and polite, and Seemed very passionate about the business. Came in on a Friday evening to pickup a phone order I placed for 2 pizzas. Good timing - got in and out and it smelled really good in there. Getting home I was really excited as we got the tikka masala and the curry so wanted to really try more than one flavor. For 2 pies it came to about $40 after tax. The first thing I noticed was how sparse the toppings were which made me kind of sad. Wish they would have put just a bit more of the toppings on both pies. The taste though of the tikka masala and curry was really good. I wish they added a bit more spice/flavoring of the underlying dish as the dough is not like seasoned so it kind of mutes the flavor of the masala and curry. Nonetheless really good. My suggestion would be maybe to brush the dough or crust with like a garlic butter sort of to make it like a garlic naan or give the option to do that? Good spot - they also sell Indian dishes not on top of a pizza that you can get as well. Overall for the price just wish there were more toppings or also give us the option to make it spicier in some regards like provide chili flakes. read more

The mint chutney sauce that came with it was yummy. Nice cool refreshing taste and enhanced the flavor of the wings. Then the Naan tacos, it was pretty good. I couldn't really taste the lamb but had nice seasoning and it was not bad. Good concept and something different. Chicken korma was probably my favorite out of the three. Flavor of the korma was pretty good but it was missing some ingredients. Cashier did say they ate fusion style but I expected little more traditional flavor. Rice was nicely seasoned with spices. Over all I am glad I got to try this place and the price was pretty good compare to other places.. But over all I was bit disappointed with the food. Take-out review! We stopped to eat here hoping that we would find a good mix for someone that loves Indian food and someone who can't eat spice (because of stomach sensitivity). Curry and Pizza mix seemed like a perfect solution! I loved the idea, unfortunately it didn't quite work out because although they have a white pizza option listed on the menu (Alfredo) when we tried to order it they said they did not have it. So the Indian food lover (me) ordered to go to try out the food. I ordered Tikka Masala Lamb and Samosa. The order did not take too long to be ready but it seemed slightly over priced compared to other Indian places in the area. The samosas were way too spicy to to enjoy. The Tikka Masala was good but doesn't go too well with the lamb (that's my own fault for being adventurous ). This is the 4th or 5th time coming here. I was disturbed by a couple of things I saw today. I ordered my food over the phone and was told it would be 20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later to see they had not put my pizza in the oven yet. No big deal . I went to the restroom only to see they had not Chicken tikka masala being stored on the floor which could get you guys shut down . Also no paper towels in the restroom is a major violation.
