Maybe I'm just getting older and my taste's change but as a kid, I loved going to the one on Roscoe across from the AB facility. You could smell the beer hopps while pulling into the parking lot. The chili burgers were awesome and was always thankful when my folks took me. So I decided to go to the one in Burbank while I had time to kill. To my dismay, it was just okay. I've eaten at a couple different Tommy's around the valley. I really like the way they prepare their burgers/cheeseburgers. Taste wise, I can say the 3 I've been to are consistent in taste, which is a good thing because Tommy's does have it's own flavor. Great fries and those little pepprocinis they give if you ask. I usually eat the California cheeseburger, my bf eats the chili burger. Big drink sizes, too. I will say that you either like Tommy's or you dont, and that's ok. Needless to say that this has been one of the most disgusting experiences ive had not only because of the food but because of the reaponse i got when i called the reataurant. As you can see from the pictures i found fly larvae in my food. I just so happen i wasnt in the mood for pickles that day and decided to open the burger to remove them, when to my surprise i found larvae in my burger. I called the restaurant to let them know and the guy on the other end implied that i had somehow placed them there myself (like if i had some fly larvae just laying around, smh) i called so that they can check their product as to avoid feeding this to other people but i got the impression that he didnt care. This is a really good Tommy's location. The food is always fresh & comes out really quickly. The only downside is that there is no drive-thru, but parking is easily accessible in their private lot, as well as on the street. This visit was for a breakfast burrito and it was BOMB!! This very day was my first experience at Tommy's. I was greeted by a worker with mid energy and took in what was the waft of chili. I ordered the classic chili cheese fries and the chili cheese burger. I waited patiently as they cooked my fresh meaty meal with sweet Tommy lovin'. Then I heard it, "NUMBER 96." This was my time. I grabbed the little box with my baby wrapped burger and my oozing chili fries and I dug in. My god I felt so naughty. This burger was dripping like an old lady at a fabric store. Then, in what felt like an instant, she was gone. I expected that this was going to be a meal that i would recover quickly from, and oh boy was i wrong. Never in my life have i had a meal that made me immediately sweaty and make me only able to communicate with heavy breathing. I was prepared to take this power meal and fight evil, but this magic meat made me fight my own demons. The chili smell follows me now, wherever I go, POURING out of my sweat glands like a salty savory perfume (much like a costco hotdog burp effect). I arrived at my home where I then had to recover in a state that is much like my favorite show, naked and afraid.
