The food is greasy and heavy and has little nutritional value and that's just the way I like it!!! My fav chili burger ever. And they're pretty generous with the chili too, we got chili cheese fries to go and it was fricken stacked. A quiet location, but it's always clean and the employees are always friendly. I stop here whenever I drive up or down the 5. Plenty of parking as well.

Lake Forest location is very clean with no leftovers sitting on tables or trash on the floors (inside or out). Located off the 405N using the El Toro Rd exit toward the mountain side of 405. Waze or Google Map it. The service is quick, easy, fast, and accurate. Let's face it, it's Tommy's! So have to order a cheeseburger and chili tamale!!!! I know some ppl think this is "heart-attack-city" type food, but for us diehards, IT'S TOMMY'S and when you crave it, there's nothing one can do to stop us! Highly recommend THIS location. Plenty of parking. Again, the off-ramp is El Toro Rd going east towards the mountain side of 405, not beach side.

Something you can't get anywhere else. I've had lots of chili cheese burgers. But never like this - greasy & pasty chili and delicious. Employees prompt to take our order, food came out fast & prices were reasonable. Somethings never change.

The chili is still the original recipe from 80 years ago. Still a delicious gut bomb with hot thick fries! Eat lunch and skip dinner! The service was very friendly.

Great tasting food and very messy. We walked in and no one was behind the counter or in the dining room. It was completely empty. Very awkward, but the male cashier came out after a few seconds, took our order and insisted we take our food to go because they were closing in 30 minutes. I declined and said no, it's for here and we have plenty of time to eat before you close the dining room. The manager came out after our food was ready and began cleaning...again, the male cashier continued on and asked the manager if they can close the dining room so he can mop. Felt very uncomfortable and awkward.

    Our huge order.

Really nice location. Drive through and ample parking lot. Friendly and accommodating staff. We placed a large order to go. There were only 2 workers but they were friendly and efficient. No food pics because we were sooo hungry. WARNING - to go orders will make your car smell great for days. Tommy's is the best!!! Ok, bye.

Must try: Double Double Animal Style!…read more Why: Consistently hits the spot every time I come home! This is always one of my first meals coming home to OC from NYC. I crave In-N-Out and this location is convenient near home and the freeway. My typical order is a Double Double Animal Style with Fries and extra Spread. Same great taste and still more affordable than many burger joints especially compared to NYC. For a family of 3 it cost us $21 (3 burgers and shared fries). Notes: We came around 11:40am before the lunch crowd. There was only one person in front of us. By noon the line was nearly to the door but they had 3-4 cashiers so the line moved fast. I was also impressed by the staff: one cashier explained the secret menu to a guest, another worker walking around cleaning tables was making sure the guests were enjoying their meals, and another worker was making friendly conversations with other guests and they were laughing it up. All the workers were friendly, attentive, and professional. The restaurant continues to look clean even with the high foot traffic. Many tables indoors and some outdoors. Bathrooms too. When our order was ready, the worker gave us an In-N-Out hat and extra spread. Great service all around and once again, happy bellies!

I should probably say that I arrived at about midnight, so there were only a handful of patrons inside. No need to deal with rush hour crowds. I also was coming from the Irvine train station, where the Amtrak train I was on had broken down. So, I was also very hungry. I ordered a double double with cold cheese, both raw and grilled onions, mustard-fried patties, and chopped chilis, plus a fry light-well, and got a pink lemonade and 7UP mixed soda. Everything came out exactly to a T, was super flavorful, and also really affordable at $12.07 total. The place was a bit dirty, but it was also midnight on a Sunday, so they'd probably been slammed for hours. Nothing crazy though--I still enjoyed it. The place is also really large, one of the bigger In-N-Out interiors I've seen recently, which kind of reminded me of the store in Apple Valley. Overall, really good In-N-Out location. P.S. Thanks to Christian my cashier who got everything correct and was super friendly and helpful above and beyond my order.

So many people are talking about how good their chicken is so just like me others I given in and headed for the drive-through. Picked up their six piece combo and dug in. It's not that good. Very greasy, deep fried in very cheap, badly smelling oil, I can't say that this was an enjoyable meal at all. If you are in the mood for breaded fried chicken, just go to Whole Foods. You will pick up way better quality chicken fingers at their hot bar for about the same price. The taste is exactly the same, but the quality is just unmatched comparing to this place. So now I can say I've been here tried this, but will never be back and I don't recommend this. Also, what's up with that itty bitty tiny side of coleslaw? Can that thing be even considered a side dish? Again, just go to Whole Foods and load up on it. I don't understand people who choose Raising Cane's, sorry.

Jennifer took my call and cheerfully made it happen. Phew! Our friends RAVED about the food the entire night and a couple even texted later about how good everything was. I thought the default sandwich variety in the ordering portal was very good, though I adjusted to have two extra veggie sandwiches. I also appreciated how they were very well-labeled within the boxes. The caprese cocktail sandwiches didn't have enough filling ratio for the thickness of the bun - it was a mouthful of bread with a little bit of cheese and tomato. They were the only thing that weren't really a hit, but everything else was phenomenally good!
