I think there's already a thin sangyupsal option on the menu so I'm not sure why we're getting another thin option. Gotta say though, this is the only place that has the intercostal rib meat which is baller. Overall this place is just not giving authentic. This might do if you're not familiar with traditional Korean bbq and have no expectations or a bar for Korean food, but from someone who grew up like that, this is just lack luster and overall a slap in the face. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier.
