I don't usually expect much from places that combine Thai, ChineseC and Vietnamese dishes, but this place surprised me! Their beef Panang curry here is the best I've tasted in a while. The curry is flavorful and bold, their beef was tender, and the veggies were soft but still had a nice crunch to it. We also ordered the walnut shrimp, which was always been my favorite and they did an amazing job here with it. The outer layer was crispy, the prawns were huge, and the mayonnaise sauce was creamy and flavorful. I wanted soup and ordered their wonton noodle soup. It wasn't as bold as the other two dishes but the light broth was just what I wanted. Service was great! Our server/cashier/food runner was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try a plethora of Asian dishes. read more

I don't remember if we called or stopped in since we drive by frequently but the contact was done on 8/23/2025 so that you could investigate the cause of our friends food poisoning. immediately. I'm 45 and have bad knees. I had dinner here Saturday night after shopping at Micro Center and spent $40. After I ate I needed to use the restroom. Not only are the stalls so small they can induce claustrophobia in someone who doesn't have it, they also lack any stalls with grab handles. This place is not handicap accessible. Not only is it inconvenient, it's illegal and violates ADA laws. I'll be filing reports with the Department of Justice. read more

I'm still here and feel compelled to write a review ASAP. Amazing food, service, drinks and ambiance. This place is the whole package. You can tell there are lots of regulars. We are only in town for the week, but know I'll have to come back again before we leave. We got pork fried rice, tofu vegetable noodle bowl, triple Kung pao, general tso chicken, egg rolls and crab wontons. Every item was perfect. Solid Chinese fair. Came here because my usual place was closed and it's a small place in the Micro center parking lot. We came around 3pm and it was pretty empty except a few to go order pick up. We got the sesame chicken- the chicken was tender, the sauce a little too sweet for my taste. I wish it came with Vegis and forgot to ask usually a nice steamed carrot or broccoli accompanies the dish which I like. I got the plain fried rice which was soft and tasty. To start we got the crab wontons which were good. The waiter was nice and checked on us. A little pricy $35 for just sesame chicken, app and the standard rice that accompanies. I think lunch pricing is better but we missed the time frame read more

We were out and about and felt like some Asian food for dinner so we decided to try South Garden for the first time. We ordered online and picked it up on the way home. Service was great when we picked up. I did notice that for a Saturday night they were really empty inside. We got a variety of dishes from spring rolls to pad Thai to fried rice and kung pao chicken. The spring rolls were really good and love the peanut sauce with it. Everything else though lacked flavor. Basically we had to doctor some things up with sauces. Loved it! So good, amazing service. We had the peanut curry and it was really delicious and had a creamy yet complex flavor. Not to watery or too thick and sweet, pretty great! Fresh chicken and veggies in it! We also tried the deep fried dumplings and they were good. I think they pan fried them for us upon request, actually. The dough was a little on the thicker side which isn't my favorite but my husband loves doughy foods and he seemed to love them. I got a lunch special and it came with soup and soup crunchy noodles, egg roll and rice. I got sesame chicken because I often like to see how a place makes it and was excited it was labeled and indeed arrived, white meat chicken. Can't wait to find an excuse to stop by again. They had aquariums with fish that I know my little one would love to look at on a future visit. The interior was super clean and well decorated and they had lots of booths and tables. Nice ambiance. This place is so amazing!!! We were leaving the Dam Grillle and wanted food but didn't want to sit down anywhere. We popped in to South Garden for Hot and Sour soup and left with much much more. Chicken fried rice, egg rolls, crab wontons, kung pao chicken and the friendliest service we have received in a long time. We were greeted with warmth and humor and our experience here made our night. To top it off we were gifted with 2 egg rolls saying thank you with smile. We decided to GH it last night and order delivery from here. It was a good decision. I ordered the Jalapeño Chicken and my wife ordered the Chicken with Vegetables. We both had the steamed rice with it. We scheduled ahead and it was actually delivered a little early which was perfectly fine. One thing I liked about the options on my Jalapeño Chicken was getting to pick the spiciness level. Of course I ordered the spiciest. It was all so good. And of course we have lots of leftovers to keep working on over the next couple of days. My husband and I came to this establishment for dinner on Friday. We have passed this restaurant a few times and have been curious to dine at the restaurant. I am so glad we came to the 40+ year family establishment. It's family friendly their fish aquariums are beautiful and clean their fish swim happy! I was extremely impressed with the service, the cleanliness, the ambiance, and the food was phenomenal! The food had a wonderful presentation and it was fresh and seasoned perfectly. We had the family for 2 special which came with choice of soup, appetizer, and two choice of entrees. We had the chicken kung pao and beef and beef and green beans. I am particularly about Chinese food but was extremely pleased with the experience and will definitely be returning very soon! One of my favorite Chinese restaurants now for sure! read more

First off, this place stays open until 9:30 which is actually an event in this area! With everything else closing at 9:00 you have to come here to get piping hot, delicious Chinese food. We took our order to go and it was very well packed. Nothing spilled or moved to the side. The lady who took our order was amazing! We ate in the parking lot and our food was so good. We tried to call to tell him that they were already closed. One of the best features are the combination plates. You can try two entrees and get rice and an egg roll all for one great price. I ordered the chicken and vegetables and chicken lo mein. Let me just tell you the texture on both were amazing and I can't believe they were both in the same container which is nicely separated! The chicken lo mein wasn't greasy and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Just enough vegetables and chicken. The vegetables and chicken lol or piping hot and kind of chow mein style with a clear sauce. It had zucchini, broccoli, and mushrooms. You could really eat that with the amazing fried rice that we ordered. The fried rice needs its own paragraph because it was the freshest fried rice I've ever tasted moist not hard. You could tell that the rice was fresh because it was spots of white rice in there. And they pack it full. I can't believe it was so moist in a paper box. My husband had the pork sweet and sour and the sesame chicken. I can't believe how tender both were for being fried. They give you a nice big serving of sweet and sour sauce. The egg rolls were amazing and come with the sweet sauce and some spicy mustard. If you ask for hot oil they're going to give you something that is super hot. So be careful. Which the lady was careful to warn my husband. I took one dot And put it to the side. Overall, this is the best dining experience that we've had since we've been here. Probably because it was so surprising since it's an unassuming shopping center off the tech center. Check it out. No pictures because I had just gotten off of a 13 hour shift and I could not wait. I loved this place. My family ordered take out here and tried to get mostly dishes with vegetables. I'm addicted to egg rolls so we ordered a good amount and they were AMAZING. the perfect crisp, it was as if we were dining in the restaurant and they had come fresh from the kitchen. All of our other dishes were hot fresh and very flavorful. I never expect much when I order takeout but this restaurant blew me away. Really fair prices and great Chinese food. My favorite chinese food in the Denver area. I grew up eating chinese food in San Francisco and this is right up there. I do wish they used bean sprouts in their cooking, especially the chow mein. I recommend South Garden over any other chinese in the Denver area. read more
