Michael is the best!!!!! We recently changed from Peachtree Pest Control (due to a lot of problems and dissatisfaction) to Orkin and have been super happy!!! Michael is fantastic, does everything he says he is going to do, we have seen no bugs since he took over and he gives super service!! We have dogs and have requested to be notified on the day of service 30 minutes before arrival so we can lock them up and control them better and he has exceeded this request every visit!!! We recently purchased a home that we were aware had a rodent issue. We sought quotes for an exclusion and Orkin was our first appointment. Long story short, the woman that inspected our house used a lot of fear based tactics to upset us during the inspection. A. Pretending to see/hear movements and acting as though there was an infestation. B. Telling us we were going to end up in the hospital. C. Repeating that we were going to have to spend a bunch of money to fix everything and "I hope you got a good deal on this house." D. Telling us that we had been deceived by the sellers. She also had an attitude (semi-disguised as a bad joke) when I mentioned that we'd likely be getting other opinions. The only positive I can say is that she was thorough. She crawled all through our crawlspace and walked all around our attic. Overall, we were told we should pull out all of the insulation from the crawl space and attic, disinfect, and reinstall, but we can leave the poly liner "to save a bit of money." If I remember correctly this also included the exclusion and 4weeks of pest follow up. 12k in total! We could break it up into two parts, 6k each roughly. We had Arrow come out next, the inspector was friendly, mentioned that he though there had already been some work done (as far as the exclusion goes) so we could just refresh it. We asked about the insulation and he mentioned he wasn't sure how necessary it was. Regardless we ended up changing out all of the insulation (to clean things up and hopefully help on our energy bill), changing out the poly (which apparently is only like $500), as well as having the exclusion refresh and 1 year warranty for half of what Orkin wanted to charge. No drama, no fear tactics, no BS. TL/DR: Orkin used a bunch of fear tactics to upset us during inspection, and wanted to charge literally DOUBLE what another competitor charged us. Go with Arrow if you want to avoid drama and have straightforward service. read more

5/23/22 - I just had the most unpleasant phone call with Michelle Aderhold which resulted to canceling my grandmother's service with Orkin (Lawrenceville). I contacted Orkin due to my high service rate and expressed to Michelle that my friends have much larger single family homes compared to my grandmother's small townhouse and are paying a cheaper rate. Michelle immediately shut me down and nonchalantly stated that she could not provide the cheaper rate to me. She appeared to be unbothered and did not attempt to retain my business. This is not good business practice whatsoever for Orkin and who knows how many other customers were disregarded by Michelle. Do better Orkin! read more

Orkin is the finest company I know. They go above and beyond in exceeding the customer's expectation. We had a situation at the home in which a raccoon died under the floorboards of our upper deck. It's decomposing body omitted the most offensive smell; this is how we discovered it. Feeling overwhelmed with the situation and not knowing what to do, we called on our Orkin specialist, Domingo; he responded almost immediately and without hesitation came out to lend a helping hand. Worst company i have ever dealt with! Bad customer service! overcharged me 2 times, and never recieved refunds after literally 22 /1hour+ phone calls. They say they will call you back because they need to look into the problem but NEVER do! The technicians never come on time. Wrong day wrong time consistantly! I addeed the misquito service and they never did my back yard because of my dogs being back there, this is why they were supposed to come at certain times, so i can let the dogs inside, and they would leave me a full bill on my door each time expecting me to just pay it. I would have to call them to come back because i knew they didn't do the back yard...3 times in a row. I cancelled my service because of the horrible experiences, and they still billed me 3 months straight saying i never cancelled after all those phone calls?! I had to get on the phone with them another 10 times to get them to stop billing me and threatening to report my account as bad! I just hope i may save someone the headaches. We just bought the bug sprays ourselves. From now on we will do our own pest control. read more

HORRIBLE service and customer service. I got the service bc I had pantry moths but after they left I had soooo many bugs in my house I swear I think they brought them. So I called to cancel the service and ask for credited the last service bc it says money back and yet I wasnt credited for the last service call and they sent me to collections before sending me the bill to olay it. Also was told the manager was going to call me back but he or she never did!!!!!!! Dont waste your money... The stuff they sprayed didnt even help with the pantry moths I goggled a remedy and thats what got it taken care of that read more
