I have lived at this property for over a year, and unfortunately, my experience has become…read moreincreasingly uncomfortable. My biggest concern is an employee named Eric. His interactions with me have repeatedly felt rude, aggressive, and intimidating. On one occasion, he was walking directly through the lot I rent, in front of my RV. Because I have cameras around my RV for the safety of my dog and myself, I simply asked if everything was okay. His response was unnecessarily rude and aggressive. Since then, whenever I see him, I feel uncomfortable and, honestly, afraid. I understand that I rent the lot and that the property belongs to the company. However, I believe residents deserve to be treated with basic respect and courtesy in the place they call home. Recently, I went to the office to ask questions about my rent while Eric was on the phone. I understand he was busy, but he spoke to me very loudly and said, "Excuse me, I'm on the phone." I felt completely dismissed. There is a professional way to communicate with a tenant, even when you are busy. I want to acknowledge that I met Jerek from management, and he was extremely kind. He shook my hand, gave me his information, and made me feel welcomed and like he was genuinely there to help. I honestly wish I had reached out to him about my concerns that day. I also want to recognize the employees who have treated residents with kindness. Jonathan was always helpful, and the employee who took over his position has been wonderful--kind, patient, and respectful. I truly appreciate her. The reason I waited so long to leave a review is because I wanted to give the property and management an opportunity to improve. I like to see the good in people, and I hoped to see positive changes. Unfortunately, I have not seen the changes I hoped for. I am honestly concerned that speaking openly about my experience could make management want me to leave the property. However, I believe residents and future residents deserve to know what my experience has been, particularly regarding my interactions with Eric. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works toward creating an environment where every resident feels respected, welcomed, and safe.

Flat RV sites with full-service hook-ups, nice patios, tables, fire pits, grassy areas and a few shade trees. New restrooms/showers. Handy location. Fairly quiet. The cons: no hot water in the new restrooms/showers (thankfully this is Florida where the cold water, isn't freezing cold), inconsistent pool hours (posted 9pm closing time, but was locked at 7:45pm the night we wanted to enjoy it), ridiculously short business hours for the store/business center (closes at 5pm). Decided to leave a day early due to incoming storm (and lack of hot water), so stopped into the office to notify the clerk, who was actually quite helpful. She refunded our last night and stated that the hot water situation was a top priority. Doubt I'll be back to find out if it gets better!

The staff here were nothing but nice to us and responded to our request rapidly. The property is age restricted for long term residents so just passing through for the month is was ok since we are young and have a two year old. They do not have a playground, but the city has a real nice park just up the street and it looks like they have a splash pad for the kids also. The property is huge and has many amenities for its residents. There is a nice lake on property that is inhabited by a young alligator. We only saw her on the bank and she never came close to any of us. The property is going through some renovations and they have added a nice fire pit lake side near the office and they always have wood there to burn. They do not allow fire pits at your camp site so this is a nice alternative. They had a pool which we didn't use, along with shuffle board, horse shoes, mini golf, and planed activities. The people we encountered on the property were nothing but nice. I not sure what the complaints were about them, but many times people stopped by and chatted. I would have to say this is one of the nicest park we have stayed at.

How about "recent break-ins", I have not heard of a single one and I stay here 7 or 8 months a year. The "absentee landlord" does not exist. Actually the owner of the park lives near the center of the park and is quick to correct all problems. There has never been a pool so it cannot be "closed". There is NO "junk yard within the park". There is a storage area residents use to put trailers in, an intolerant person might think it is "junk". Ya my electric box was rusty, I painted it. The 30A and 50A circuits worked fine before the paint and still work fine. Cash only is a fact. As for "one toilet/shower", in today's world only pop-ups or tents do not have their own toilet/shower. The full hook-up at every site enables most travelers to easily use their own. To sum it up, Bowling Green, Fl dated 6/17/2017 must have been at a different park.

I became disappointed and confused. How could all those other reviews be so good and yelp in this case bad. So let me set the record straight. When I got to the office, they were ready to process all my paperwork and I was out in less then two minutes. That is unbelievable. The gate was also the registration which was a good idea. I paid a bit more for the Elite spot. When I say it I was a bit disappointed. Nothing elite about it. So I got set up and took my electric scooter to the pool. BINGO, the pool was large, quiet and awesome. Then I went to the hot tub. It was better then the pool. As I was in the hot tub, I turned around and their was a large lovely lake. I totally get the Elite status now. This place is great, I recommend it and hope to come again. My only negative is very few shade trees on my spot. That is why it is not a 5 star. I was accommodated for 1 day because somebody else had booked the next day. I didn't last too long because there was a roach inside the tent and call me bougie but I've been in the military and never seen a roach inside a tent but like I said I've never been glamping so this was new to me but I did enjoy the tortoise and the beach!
