Kwater has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. From the moment the technician arrived, it was clear professionalism was not a priority. The first thing he said to me upon arrival was that I was "f*cking wasting his time." That alone is completely unacceptable and disrespectful to any paying customer. There was no attempt to listen, explain, or help--just attitude, hostility, and zero accountability. If this is how Kwater represents their company, it says a lot about their standards. I felt insulted in my own home and left questioning why I even bothered scheduling the appointment. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. No service is worth being spoken to like that. read more

They were more than helpful diagnosing my water problems. They showed up on time, offered a solution for my problems and have been very transparent about their pricing. The water in my home is noticeably better. Drinking water, and anything our water touches has been impacted positively. read more

Two botched installs. 1. Hit a line and had to shut my plumbing off. Installer tried to leave and say he would be back but I raised hell due to having a 2YO child at the time and had no water for a day...after almost three weeks trying to get someone to call me back I got offered free salt. 2. Hit an irrigation line when they were installing. Almost cost me my lawn, but it definitely cost me over $500 to get a tech out and replace the lines. I will update once they respond with how this will be handled. Great product two very poor experiences with the install and they customer service needs improvement. read more

If I reviewed them 3 years ago, I would have given them 5 stars. However since then, I have found out how unprofessional they really are..... Orlando Water Inc. installed a reverse osmosis water filter system, for my whole house. This was done in 2020 and I spent approximately $20,000.00. In October of 2022, the system stopped supplying water to my house. I went to the system and did a temporary fix, by jumping a couple of wires. I then called Orlando Water Inc. to properly fix the situation. They had 2 techs come out on 10/10/2022. The techs came out, looked at my system and stated, the company no longer sells whole house systems and they did not know how to work on this system and walked away. I called the company several times for help, but they would never return my calls. Finally, after about a month, they had an old tech (that no longer works for them) come out. He was one of the techs that originally installed the system. He said I needed a sensor and he'll contact me in a week. He never contacted me. I again called the Orlando Water and then they said they would call back and never did. I couple of weeks later I received a bill in the mail for $140, for service on 10/10/22. I called them, explained the situation and that nothing was ever done. They told me they would investigate and call me back... they never did. this has happened at least 5 more times. Now I'm getting a bill every month. And this is where I am now, with my system still "hot wired" and I'm afraid to call another company while I have this outstanding bill. We have owned 3 kinetico water systems through the years. Recently, our l5 under sink unit began having issues. Technicians zack and chris a total of 5 times working through the issues. I was very pleased with the promptness of return visits, having parts required and general overall friendliness. After speaking to tech chris, I was very pleased to learn kinetico hires our veterans. Terrible company. After a really great sales pitch where we were told "we'll just move the system if you move", they have yet to present a coherent plan to install our system. They had one guy cone survey and then the installer had no idea what the instructions meant. He was going to dig on our property as well as cut out shrubs. None of this was cleared upfront. The. They sent two guys to our property to survey. After a number of phone calls, they have told us it will cost $700, but have provided no information at all on what that includes. I guess really they just wanted our initial $3k and now don't really need to service us. We have left 2 calls this week. No one will call us back. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone a different direction. read more

Have the Kinetico whole house water system installed in Dec 2016, installation went as planed, no issue, service personnel were courteous and friendly. I asked them to caulk up a big gap in the wall where the water pipe is, it was left incomplete by the builder (new construction), they did it without question. Also received the 30 days followup from the customer service rep as promised. My wife and I love the soft water system and the drinking water quality is excellent. I recommended the same system to my neighbor, they have it installed and love it too. We don't have any issue with the company or their local installer in Orlando. read more

Kinetico as a company has a decent product. Their dealers which are obviously franchised leave a lot to be desired. Orlando Water Inc., has the worst customer service. My system is still under warranty and I'm unable to get reliable service. They have cancelled and rescheduled an appointment (this time - not the only time it's happened) causing me to take time off from work. They do want to upgrade my system for $1000+ or replace it $3500. Very unhappy and the Kinetico Company seems to be disinterested in what their centers are doing! read more

My wife and I did a lot of research and decided to install a Kinetico water softening system for the whole house. Their only local installer is Orlando Water. I set up an appointment with them for an estimate and stayed home on the day of appointment. They called early and asked if both me and my wife are present. I said my wife isn't and didn't want to be present. They refused to come in saying they wont come unless both are present. Love, love, love my new water softener system. After doing tones of research and having 6 different people come to our house we just purchased, there was no question in our mind we needed to get a Kinetico system. The gentleman that came to our house was so sweet and he wasn't a pushy sales man and he didn't bash other companies. (Which some of the others did.) He was so knowledgeable of they system and answered all of my million questions. The technician was great and he really knew his stuff. We have a well and since having the system our water is amazing. The system requires almost no maintenance and electricity. My hair and skin is so much better. I have psoriasis and ever since we've had our new system it's almost completely cleared up. I have recommended a Kinetico system to just about everyone I know. If your anything like me you like to look at the reviews on things, I do it just to get an idea of some of the things I should keep an eye on or questions I should ask but like with any product your going to have people that are negative because they had a bad experience and 9 times our of 10 it is because of their own negligence, do yourself a favor don't listen to them. The company offers you 30 days to try it for free if you are not happy they come take it away no questions asked. What do you have to loose 30 days of really good water not Florida's smelly reused water. 30 days is plenty so know if it is right for you. Trust me in my first 30 days I asked a million questions, called them out to my house 4 times to just test my water for me and they were more than happy to do it for me. I even had a problem at midnight one night (it was my well) but when I called them they called me back 5 minutes later to help me. read more
