William Livingston came by and was super nice and knowledgeable. He showed us the water and we tested the water vs after the filter install. There is a serious difference. They were out next day to install and looks great! The water is a huge huge difference. The taste is much better and I can feel clean after showing or washing my hands. My teenage son's hair is had less breakouts since showing with the clean water. There are several comments about the soaps. You are not charged for the soap. The soap is an added bonus for the service. They are good soaps from Pure and Gentle you can change the scents that they come in. William Livingston is the account rep for this area and he takes pride in working with folks. He has came by several times to test the waters and ensure we are happy.

The sales person started with a much higher price and supposedly kept calling his boss for a better price. The product does Not do what I was told it would and what I expected from the presentation. The soap products that they push on you are even Worse. I have allergies that the whole process was supposed to address (unit and the soap products). It does Not. When I contacted the main office. I was told that it would be $150.00 for someone to come out and review the system. It is now several years later and the system is still NOT doing what I was told and expected. Look further than this company Before you buy. Wish I had.

I am writing this review to warn others about the structural damage and poor service I experienced…read morefollowing a negligent whole-house water filtration system installation by this company. The issues began when the backwash discharge hose was improperly placed directly beside the unit, causing a collapse of both units within weeks. Although technicians returned to relocate the discharge point, they rerouted it just one foot beneath my front sidewalk without disclosure. This has now resulted in a secondary massive sinkhole as the sand support has been washed away from under the walkway. When I contacted the company to request a repair for this third instance of negligence, I was told I must pay a $199 service fee. I refused to pay for a visit necessitated by their own faulty workmanship. Rather than addressing the liability, the representative hung up on me after I indicated I would be forced to cancel my yearly routine maintenance. Prospective customers should be aware that this company has refused to rectify their own errors without additional charges and has shown a complete lack of accountability for the damage caused to my property. I am still seeking a resolution where they waive the service fee and repair the sidewalk and discharge system at no cost. Avoid this company if you value quality workmanship and professional customer service.

Did not happen. In fact he left and the water was not working. The next week a new tech came out and said the system has to be replaced. At the time of at least 2k+. No offer for any sort of adjustment given that they were the proximate cause of it failing. Yes it was old but it was working.... Will not do business with them in the future. Recommend being careful with the getting services from this company.

I bought a water treatment system from them last year and it's been working great! Being a paranoid…read moreNew Yorker, I wasn't sure if I believed them at first, so after they installed the system, I bought a water testing kit just to make sure that the system was doing what it was supposed to do. The results were great! I have delicious tasting water and I don't smell like chlorine after I shower! Woohoo! The service has been great and the system has been working with no problems. The only downside is that it's a very expensive system and the annual filter maintenance will run you $204 each year. Unfortunately, with the terrible water that we have here, this system is a necessity for our health!

I waited to cool down before I wrote this review. What a tremendous disappointment Great Southern…read more(or whatever their name is now) has been to me. They have been servicing my Puronics water softener system for over 4 years and have done an adequate job. However, about 2 weeks ago I walked into my garage, where the water softener was installed, to find water all over my garage floor. I found that the Puronics stainless steel tank was badly leaking at the base. This was just after 8 a.m. so I immediately called Great Southern Water to report the problem and get someone out to help me stop the water leaking all over the garage. I got an answering machine. I left a detailed message of my problem and asked that they call me ASAP and tell me what I could do to stem the flow of water. I heard nothing so after an hour I called again. Again, the answering machine. I left a bit more desperate message and asked that the 'Please' give me a call immediately. I then went into my garage and started moving things up in my garage to avoid water damage. I waited until 4:45 (I knew they closed at 5) and called again, bewildered why I hadn't heard from them. Again, the answering machine. This time I made it perfectly clear 'I NEED HELP, please call me!' Again, Nothing. The following morning I called...again, the answering machine. After another couple of calls, I FINALLY got the service person and told her my situation. (In the meantime, I had to cut and reroute the piping to by-pass the water softener system so I could continue to have water in the rest of the house). She just said, 'yeah, I played hooky yesterday and my service manager didn't answer any calls. I have 23 calls that I need to catch up on'. She said they could get a service man out in 2 weeks! She then said, 'let me talk with the manager and I'll give you a call back'. I waited the rest of the day....no call! I didn't hear back from her, the manager (or anyone) for almost a WEEK, and only then when I CALLED THEM BACK. When I finally got the service person again and when I told her who I was she said 'oh yeah, I was thinking of you yesterday'. WHAT???? She then said the manager had told her for $150 they would deal with Puronics and see if they could get them to ship me a new tank that I could install myself!! WHAT???? Well, if you haven't figured it out I WILL DEFINITELY NOT be having Great Southern in my house again and I strongly encourage you to go somewhere else also!
