    Burger, onion rings, and tea.

This place is awesome. Very consistent. The food is exactly the same every time. I recommend just about everything on the menu. Today I had the burger, onion rings and tea can't go wrong with that. If you've eaten here before, you know what I'm saying, if you haven't give it a try!

Chicken Fried Steak sandwhich with Onion Rings

It's a good cafe. It's the usual hometown/regional foods that anyone with a stomach will enjoy. My family and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwhiches with sides of our choosing. The Chicken Fried Steak part of the sandwhich had almost no seasoning and I liberally added pepper and salt which improved it immensely. The sides aren't included with the sandwhiches which is a bit of a let down but not overly so. I ordered the onions rings which had a wonderfully crackly batter. The perfect kind. The other sides were fried squash and French fries. The service was on the slow side but it was also busy and it's a mom/pop cafe which is to be expected. I'd recommend this place if you're stopping through.

Lunch special, small plate, hamburger steak and lemon poppyseed cake.

My dad and I had the lunch special today, and I loved it. I had the small plate of hamburger steak, mashed potatoes, green beans (substituted for green peas at no cost). It was very tasty, even the gravy, and included a small piece of lemon poppyseed cake. All for $7.50. Don't know why some guy from Fort Worth thought it was pricey.

Hamburgers, onion rings and fried cheese

Great food in a small town that's absolutely worth the drive. We went for a drive in my car after finishing updates on it. Got hungry and decided to Yelp for a place to eat. Hung a right off 71 and rolled into town. Fresh patty that was cooked perfectly. Onion rings and cheese sticks were breaded in house. Food was outstanding. Kinda busy for a late Saturday lunch but the staff was great and took care of us. Here's a hint- at the register is a sign for restrooms! Go through there and there's another dining area that probably only the locals know about. Cool little family owned restaurant that we love to find on our trips.

Steak fingers, fries, and green beans. Yum.

Exactly the sort of small town cafe I like. Had steak fingers which were pretty darn good, and my wife had An equally good chicken fried steak. Folks were nice as well! Will be back!

Quaint diner in Fayetteville. The food makes it worth the drive though. Provided friendly and prompt service.

We sat down we were greeting right away, got waters and ordered. Well then our server came back and said they were not serving lunch but they had a small breakfast menu and a large lunch menu that they were hi h g everyone when being sat. I wanted a BLT which should not be hard to make bc it's just bacon, lettuce and tomato but they should they could t make that, my sister also wanted a chicken sandwich why h they couldn't make either. Well as we were waiting for our food. We saw someone being served a burger and a salad. When we asked about it she then came and said that they could not do chicken or green beans from lunch menu. Maybe they should have a breakfast only menu. People in my party feel like maybe they were being like that bc we were not white. As I walked to bathroom I saw more burgers and fries. Well I asked if I could order a side of fries and our server asked the kitchen and they said they weren't doing lunch. But other people were ordering lunch. Our server was good. It wasn't her fault that the kitchen didn't tell her they were not doing lunch even tho they were making lunch. Just very very disappointed

I found this spot on Yelp and was super pleased with the service, the selection, the strong WiFi, the decor, and the overall vibes here that was super welcoming. Parking was easy off the street and there was plenty of other storefronts to wander & window shop as I made my way to Tillie's. This whole area is great so anywhere you park is going to be close. For my coffee I really enjoyed the iced Golden Ticket coffee I got that included a caramel and a hazelnut flavor with a nice house made cream added to the top. It was so tasty! For food it was hard to choose. Everything from "brekkie", or breakfast, to lunch looked so good as listed on their menu. I ended up with one of their "Handhelds" of the Besto Pesto that included sliced turkey, homemade pesto (nut-free too!), mayo, and some delicious house made pickles. This sando came with a side of house made chips as well and was the portion for my lunch. Since I was driving back to Austin (an hour+ away) I decided to get through all of what was on my plate and not take any leftovers home but I could've!!! I really loved their decor and the long large and beautiful wooden community table they had near the back of the cafe. I saw a whole group of women (more than 6 of them!) gathered around, chatting, and having tea. I assumed they were locals because like them, I would be hanging out here all day with my laptop and/or friends all day if I could. Highly recommend coming in and checking out what you can find to have while here. From coffees, breakfast, lunch, and even refreshing tasty sparkling drinks you will find something you want to have and probably keep coming back for in the future. When I am in the area again, this will definitely be part of my plans in stopping into and eating at again.
