I shopped around at a few other places and no one seemed to have any knowledge on the products they were selling. We came into this store not knowing what was the better brand, if pillow top is better than memory foam, and if tempurpedic was worth the 4K. After trying out the different mattresses we were approached by Ray. I asked a lot of questions and he had all the right answers and knowledge of the mattresses and how the different brands compared to one another. He was never pushy and gave us our time to think. BEWARE!!!!!!!! DON'T BUY THE WARRANTY AND DON'T BUY THEIR BRAND! I bought 2 matresses with warranty from this location with the promise that they were going to replace my mattress if sagged as long as the mattress was clean about one year ago. Bought mattress are in bad shape so I decided to call them and ask them for a replacement but apparently they don't keep records of the buyers on their system and they can't honor the warranty if you can't proof that you purchased the mattress with them. I decided to walk in the store and the sales person was pleasant into he found out that I wasn't there to buy a new mattress and that wanted to make a warranty claim, he then stated that he have no access to the system and washed his hands by saying that I should of kept my receipt or at least a picture of it on my phone. I can't understand how can a company that sell warranty and that promise money back guarantee if the mattress doesn't meet expectations don't keep records of their clients. read more

Homeboy was rude! - There was no air conditioning when we first entered and it was HELLA HOT! We were checking out the warehouse as an angry cholo asked if we needed help. When we said we were looking around he stomped away. As we were about to walk out the store cause our baby was crying, Cholo, came out shouting " I would've gave u anything out here for half off!". And turned around to go back into an office. Me and my husband just looked at each other and didn't believe we were spoken to like that. We now know why there wasn't anyone in that store. Contrary to everybody else's terrible experience I walked in and was promptly greeted by a cheerful, helpful salesman who was very informative about all policies, deliveries, and products on the sales floor. We pretty much knew what we were looking for and they worked with us on finding the mattress that best suited our needs, waived delivery fee, and was promptly delivered to our home. So I went on Jan 25 and purchased a full mattress and box spring based on an ad in the paper. So it came out to 218.00 plus 70.00 delivery charge... what the hell. I told him to hold back on the delivery charge, me thinking I could get someone with a truck to pick them up. I went back today since I could not get anyone with a truck, and now the charge went up to $99.99 (shady), so i just paid and left. Before I left he told me he wish he could help me out, so I thought ah dude you could of waived the delivery charge or charged me less :0( Buyer beware $100.00 and up for a delivery charge, to think about it maybe Sit n Sleep or IKEA would of charged me less for delivery oh well. read more

Came here with my mom to buy 2 full size beds. My mom had been here previously with my sister and aunt and both of them had gotten good beds, so the salesman kinda remembered them (I forgot his name), but he ends up selling us 1 $550 bed and one $650 bed, from there my mom also decides to buy a $160 bed frame (pure metal and has no headboard). The total came up to $1400 which I paid off with a synchrony card. I am writing the review because within 2-3 months my moms bed had begun sinking and mine began sinking after 5 months, even though I would flip the bed every 6 weeks. When we call to use our warranty we are sent a letter telling us ortho would charge a $60 inspection fee for the bed and another $100 "if" they found anything wrong with it. When I bought the bed I also bought a nice frame for it so I was fine, however when we called to tell them that my mom had used their $160 metal frame they said we would still have to pay the possible $320 to replace both beds. The salesman didn't explain this to us and since then me and my mom learned that you should ask about warranties for mattresses. My mother also said she would much rather buy a new quality bed then to shell out the money to replace their mediocre beds. read more

She was very sweet and helped us identify what mattress was best for our needs...she ended up recommending a bed that was perfect for my husband and my liking (an in between firm and soft mattress). Don't even waste your time here! Was looking around when Jesus attempted to help us. He said he was giving us the best deal it was close to closing time and a few other customers were shopping around too, he explained that we would get the best deal and he can beat any price. Looking at the prices I had already compared other places and had seen a better price. I think he saw his commission check before even thinking of what the customer truly needs and giving great service. He kept insisting that we not go to any other store and "waste our time" I was very nice through out the whole interaction but when I said you know thank you I don't feel like I can make a decision right now I feel a little pressured to be quite honest. Which at that moment something switched and he got really upset with me and said well when I am here trying to help you in getting YOU the best price and you can't see that of course I am going to get upset! I went to Sears and the gal I spoke to seemed not to want to take time with me and did not seem very knowledgeable on the products. Steve, the expert at Ortho, was very welcoming, evaluated my sleep needs, then showed me the mattresses he felt would suit my needs. Steve was patient with all of my questions, and told me to try each mattress for as long as I want. "Get comfortable. Take all the time you want."
