Spending more for a quality item that I will use 365 days of the year was the only way to go. Both myself and my friend purchased motorized bed frames (and he additionally purchased a mattress) from this location. So, a significant purchase. Salesperson was nice enough however, once the transaction was complete, further help which was required was nonexistent. It seemed like once one transaction was over so was the ability to get any attention. Also, I subsequently contacted the store on multiple occasions to try to obtain the receipt from initial/ prior mattress purchase to no avail. I did this because I wanted to compare the firmness of my existing mattress to help plan on my next mattress purchase. So I finally obtained contact information for the corporate office from them. I attempted calling them (corporate) several times with no return calls from them either. This was a very expensive mattress that I had purchased. In a current process with Ortho. It's been about 2 years and 1 side of my mattress dipped and got significantly softer. It's ONLY been since about end of 2020 . For reference. It's just me sleeping in it and I weigh 108 lbs. They are sending a third party to check and I have to pay a non refundable of $60! What?! Unsure why someone can't just come here. I live so close. There are plenty of people there and I can't imagine it being difficult to sent an associate out ...There is also no guarantee they will deem it as defective. Which is concerning whatever the fine print is that says what they consider defective or not. It sounds like it can take up to 3 weeks to even get someone over here. Their system is old and process is a lot. I have to mail a form with check (no credit card) wait up to 10 business days for 3rd party then a bit longer for someone to even come out. I'm already frustrated with their process and regretting going through them. My mom bought hers at sit n sleep. She had a similar issue twice over there. EXCEPT She didn't have to pay any money for an inspection . They replaced both. Easy peasy. In anycase. I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst. I'll update this review with my results. In the meantime. I suggest to consider another company as their policy for testing mattress alone if you have an issue with your mattress will cost you $60 + waiting time with no guarantee. My mattress is 18 months old and has visible huge sagging. Due to COVID I was not even in the state so the bed has barely been slept on. I am a woman of normal size. This is unacceptable. The customer service was defensive and after reading the awful experiences people are having I will probably go right to American Express. I do not need more trauma of having someone say it isn't defective, it probably isn't defective. It sounds like that is exactly what is supposed to happen. I'm not interested in a limited warranty. Ortho Mattress is absolutely the worst mattress I have ever bought in my entire life! The mattress was delivered in March of 2019, and already was sagging by November 2019. Since it was a pillow top I could not flip it over, so I tried turning the mattress clockwise. By the time June of 2021 the mattress had a very deep sag in the middle so I flipped it over, and bought an additional pillow top pad. July 2021: had to go to Chiropractor from sleeping on this crappy mattress. This mattress was suppose to last 8 to 10 years. The mattress is only 2 years old! This is unacceptable. Finally in August 2021 I contacted Ortho Mattress Customer Service. They emailed me a three page form to fill out, and stated that I had to return the form with a check for $60.00 for an inspector to come to my home to inspect the mattress. The inspector will then contact me to set up an appointment. The $60.00 fee is non-refundable, and does not guarantee a replacement mattress. And even if I get a replacement, I have to also pay for the delivery cost, which is at least $100. So I am going to jump through all these hoops to hopefully end up with another shoddy, junky, inferior Ortho mattress that may last a year or two... No way!!! I am going to buy another mattress from a reputable company. I was not going to take the time to write and explain my Ortho ordeal, but if I can save at least one person from going through this, and wasting their money, then it was worth it! read more

I purchased a mattrass and bunch of other stuff for the bed and paid close to $3200 for everything about 2 years ago. I was lied by Larry who claimed to be the manager and told me that I have 20 years warranty on the mattrass and for any reason I can get a new mattress by paying $200. That is a big lie. You only have 1 year warranty which nothing happens during that year. The mattress is bad quality and you get screwed by doing business with liers. Do not trust them! I would not even give 1 star. They are here to charge you for inspection, delivery and much more. This is bad business!!!! read more

Memorial Day weekend is the busiest day of the year and yet Ortho Mattress and Larry L. came through. The company whose slogan should be "we've got your back". On Wednesday evening, I could no longer put any weight on my left or right ankle so I had to crawl. I called Ortho Matress and reached Larry and told him what was going on and he showed true compassion. My order was on the busiest and luckily the best time to purchase a bed (Memorial Day Sale). I asked for something that I knew was most likely not going to happen. To get an adjustable mattress delivered and installed the same day. Larry was even able to get in the extended legs so I could have more storage under my bed. To make it even harder it was 2 PM, which was the cut off time. 4 hours later Ortho Matress had removed my box springs and installed the adjustable base. The adjustable base elevates my ankles, vibrates, pulses and massage as desired (even my entire body) that helps with blood flow to not get blood clots. The base can sit all the way up like a chair for work or watching TV. Finally, I wanted zero gravity to take all the weight off my back by adjusting the head and legs. I have to update this review, unfortunately. My mattress started sagging in the spot where I sleep after owning it for only two months. It is causing me back pain and I wake up stiff every day. I am a person who is in good shape and of average body size and weight, so there is no other reason for me to be feeling this. I contacted the company who sent an inspector and about a week later I received a letter in the mail saying that, in response to the inspection, Ortho is denying that anything is wrong with it. This mattress is too expensive to be having these problems and the customer service and return policies are unacceptable given that they sold me a terrible product that I should be refunded for in full. I am trying to figure out next steps but as far as I can tell, I am pretty much up a creek and stuck with an over-priced lemon to sleep on. Unless Ortho wants to help me out? Hello? read more

We had tried out a few stores prior to Ortho and then stumbled upon it while driving - it was not on our original list. Despite not being a well-known name to us, we stopped because all the well-known names had not been good. The folks at Ortho Mattress were a dream. They were kind, friendly, efficient and attentive. My friend described what she wanted and they took us to a section with about three beds to choose from, one being the PERFECT firmness. Anna Clapp, the Store Manager, is incredible!!! She and her entire staff are friendly, courteous, and give legendary customer service. buying a mattress can be a very stressful and tedious process...it's something you will spend 8 hours a day on for the next 8-10 years. About three and a half years ago I replaced my very long term Ortho Cal King Extra firm. It had a 25 year warranty and I had it for about 27 years. I loved that mattress for years and years and wanted to replace it with another, only a Queen based on the space now available. I went to a store in WeHo, CA, listed as an Ortho store and bought what the representative said would be closest to what I'd had and the price would be about $1,500.00, 50% higher than the one being replaced. We've had a lot of inflation in the intervening years so I shrugged and said, "Ok." I bought it. It was nothing like the one being replaced, much too soft. After about 18 months a depression started in the part of the bed where I sleep. That depression now requires SEVEN folded towels to raise the hole to the point where my back is not severely distorted. When I get out of bed I'm in serious pain and require a while before I can stand upright. This is far worse than the Kapok mattress I slept on as a child. The reason for the getting the original Ortho I replaced was the suggestion of the physician after a reconstructive back surgery. It worked and I slept wonderfully on that mattress. This new one has a 20 year warranty, full replacement up to five years. I ask you, why would I want to replace it with another expensive piece of junk. I feel very ripped off and would like to know what happened to the products Ortho used to make? On a mattress evaluation web page, in the introductory comments there is mention that Ortho basically is a budget mattress. According to the Individual models of Ortho reviewed with commentary on each it would appear that they do have more lower end products than I'd known. While it might not be the highest end unit on the market, I certainly do not consider $1,500.00 in the budget range. If you are considering an Ortho mattress my advice would be, "Don't." This location really has a great staff Zsanett helped me look at just about every mattress in the store and insisted I found what worked for me. She didn't simply insist on the most expensive thing they carried either just help me find what would work best for me at a good price. Everything was explained to me in detail and I spend a good hour and half deciding. For an picky OCD person like me she made everything very easy. The store is very clean and well set up to look and try out most type of mattress available right now, air condition to a good temperature. Don't forget parking is available in the rear alley of the store. My Mattress arrived next day (delivery was actually on time) and I have say I don't regret spending the extra I did. I have been walking up far more refreshed and for the first time in life before the alarm goes off......
