I was in need of PT for my leg so I went on line to search for a good PT. I chose Orthopedic Sports therapy because Percy, one of the therapists is a DPT (Dr of PT). My daughter is a DPT so I know how well they are trained. Percy took was extremely thorough in evaluating my leg and even did his own research into the procedure I had done that created my problem. Orthopedic Sports Therapy (OST) has been my "go-to" place for physical therapy since before 2019. Things I love about OST: One-on-one half-hour work with a highly trained physical therapist; therapists are supportive, kind (when I admit I haven't done my homework!), and each has a good sense of humor; and the helpful exercise videos emailed to me to supplement my in-clinic work. Additionally, a thorough one-hour evaluation is done before therapy begins, and the office staff is a delight to work with. Most recently, I worked with Barb at the Ahwatukee location for pelvic floor and leg muscle strengthening after undergoing cancer treatment. Wish I could rate them higher than a 5! I have several serious back injuries that had been exacerbated by physical al therapy at a different business. I was afraid to try it but when I found out that all therapists at this business have a doctoral degree in pt I decided to try it. My therapist Ryan took the time to assess me and listened to my concerns. My goal was to strengthen my back so that I could have a more successful surgery. Ryan helped me from the first visit. My pain level has substantially decreased and I'm stronger after only a month. He fully tailors the program to your specific needs and stays with you for the entire visit. He doesn't leave you after five minutes to move in to the next person. While I was preparing for a quadruple fusion, there is now a possibility that I won't need the surgery. All of this as a result of this business and specifically Ryan. Very thankful to have found such an excellent therapist and business. read more

I'm very happy with my physical therapy at Orthopedic Sports Therapy in Ahwatukee. I'm feeling better already and it's only been a few weeks. The one-on-one care that I receive here is fabulous. I've been to another PT clinic here and never felt comfortable. There were lots of people there. Never knew who the therapist or the assistants were. They would walk away in the middle of my exercises and had no idea who was treating me. Ryan stays right with me the entire time and pays attention to what I'm doing and whether I'm doing the exercises correctly. He's great at explaining what I'm doing. I just completed 3 months of working with Ryan Denny and I highly recommend him as a physical therapist. When I first came in November I could barely walk, bend etc. In excruciating pain but within 2 weeks I was beginning to feel less pain. He is very patient, very kind and very knowledgeable. He has a great bedside manner and is very dedicated to making you get back to normal. Thanks to him I was able to go to Iceland in January and participate in the tours. Of course, I did the exercises he provided me with etc but he knew just what to do. Most physical therapy places (I've been to many) will only work on one body part at a time. I needed a therapist who would help me figure out how to get stronger while dealing with several imbalances, not just one. In my therapy, Ryan Denny has helped me to rehab several body parts (two different appointments per week) and that is what I needed. I went to Orthopedic Sports Therapy because they don't pass you off to a person who isn't a physical therapist! I've been injured in PT in the past because of unqualified people not paying attention. It was so frustrating and I didn't want to risk another injury. I'm extremely happy that I found Ryan. He is an excellent Physical Therapist. I think the model that Orthopedic Sports Therapy is using is what people need to improve their health. Ryan listens to me and offers great guidance. I was referred to OST by my doctor for wrist pain and fortunately for me, Dr Ryan Denny was the therapist at the Ahwatukee clinic. Right away he assessed that range of motion was part of the problem and started me on a plan for at home exercises to do in between clinic sessions. Thanks to Ryan's commitment to care and his thoroughness in ensuring I knew exactly which exercise to do each week, my wrist pain and range of motion has improved. Just amazing results. Went in limping and 3 weeks later all pain is gone. I was so impressed that here, unlike many other physical therapy businesses, you have one physical therapist and that person works just with you throughout your appt. No passing you on to a PT tech after your initial evaluation or your PT working with other clients at the same time. Such personal one on one care. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Ryan and his team. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely at ease. Tracy at the front office always made me feel welcome. Not only is she incredibly personable, she takes care of all of my insurance and scheduling needs seamlessly. From my first appointment at Orthopedic Sports Therapy, I was confident that I was in great hands. I was welcomed in at the front desk with a smile, and introduced to Ryan. With each visit, Ryan discussed my therapy and asked me questions on my progress. I always arrived at my appointment time, and never had to wait to begin therapy. I loved that I was the only patient in the office receiving therapy, made it a comfortable atmosphere. I felt absolutely amazing, and pretty pain free after my couple months of appointments. I worked with Ryan he was very supportive and did a great job of explaining each exercise. I have done PT on and off for years. I really liked how I wasn't passed on to an assist.
