These nut butters are the absolute best! Before discovering these at the Brentwood Farmer's Market, I would only get Justin's almond butter and JIF Naturals pb. I'm a huge nut butter fan, but this takes my obsession to new levels. I can finish a jar in 1 week by eating spoon fulls on their own. Raw, Organic, nutrient-dense with more flavor than anything i've tried. My favorites are Figzilla, Omega Buff (with cacao nibs yum!), and i recently purchased a new one with hazelnut and figs. My boyfriend and I came here once. It's hard to find; it's around the corner. Food is pretty expensive, which is expected given it is vegan. Odd location given the run-down nature of the surroundings. Food was just ok; wasn't impressed. Suits my dietary needs, but not raving about the place. After waiting 6+ months for them to open I was excited for my first meal at OrVeganic today... I've been a vegetarian for 25+ years so I was looking forward to having a vegan restaurant in the neighborhood. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming and we were greeted by a nice women who offered us a sample of their homemade almond milk. The menu seems all over the place, my wife and I struggled to find something we liked on the menu. Not to mention it's way overpriced, this is not Manhattan Beach... your in Lawndale the pricing should reflect this. Since we couldn't find something on the menu I decided to get a pour over coffee to go... I was asked if I'd like almond milk for my coffee, I replied yes then was informed that they charge for almond milk in the coffee?!? This makes no sense, I pay $4.87 for a small to medium sized coffee and you want to charge me for a dash of almond milk!?! The coffee was good, but again it was over priced and they charge for the only form of creamer they have... needless to say I'm extremely disappointed with my experience and unfortunately I'll never be back. This is what happens when yuppies try to open a vegan restaurant... sad. read more

Giving it 3 stars because the food was actually good! But also a 3 because of the service; went to meet up with a friend and get some work done. Ordered coffee and a side meal; I had the server approach us about 5-10 times within 30 minutes after we ordered. The push for sales is real! It turned me off that I had someone who was literally waiting or pushing for me to order more. To top it off this place is SO EXPENSIVE FOR ITEMS YOU CAN MAKE AT HOME. Went to the farmers market in South Pasadena and I tried a few things. Japanese yams, peaches, macarons, BBQ pulled pork nachos, and vegan kimchi. I also tried one other thing and it was the most amazing peanut butter I have ever come across. Now I love peanut butter sandwiches and have always just stuck with Peter Pan brand or jiffy but this peanut butter from Healthy Butter was just absolutely mind blowing. Perfect texture and taste. So many different flavors and everything being organic was just amazing. I can definitely say I'm switching brands for now on. The mixed berry flavor was my most favorite and will def go back for the other flavors. read more

This place is super cute. Very cool decor and excellent service. All of the servers are extremely attentive and explain things well. The place is a little hidden and the parking situation can be confusing at first. Just drive down the side street and park behind the building. Butters and milk were super tasty and filling. Tea was nothing to write home about but didn't try the coffee so maybe that is better. The only tiny gripe I had is that their menu doesn't have whole lot of options but the few they do are quality. I had the butter jam toast and it was a little too drenched in butter and jam for my liking--couldn't find the toast beneath it all. It is a little on the pricey side but I get it, organic is not cheap and neither is rent. Dining room acoustics will definitely highlight private conversations so keep that in mind. I like that the manager keeps his professionalism on Yelp reviews in his comments which is refreshing. Will probably try this place again. Hope their menu expands. Cool spot. Absolutely loved this place!! Delicious, high-quality, fresh, healthy vegan comfort food at its best! You can taste the time and love that goes into each dish. Loved the vegan sloppy joe and my husband loved his almond Alfredo, and their nut butters and vegan cheeses are AMAZING (bought some to take home!)! The owners/chef MJ and Jasmine are so warm and welcoming--the immediately feel like old friends. Clean, peaceful ambiance. Also loved all the dried grains/legumes/superfood powders they have for sale. Truly a vegan foodie paradise! Can't wait to go back and try everything on their menu! I just went here for the 1st time s hour ago, after finding it on Yelp. I ordered the Sweet Potato Chili to go. It was delicious!!!! And the guacamole on top adds a richness and depth of flavor that was outstanding. In addition it was very filling & I felt I got my money's worth in quantity & quality. I will definitely be back to try other menu items....at least I think. IDK if I can eat anything other than the chili now! Came here for lunch with my BF before I had to get back to class and before he had to work. The food is really great quality for sure, a bit pricey but it's understandable since everything is vegan, organic and gluten free. The almond milk was definitely one of the highlights, although the kombucha was really tasty as well! BF had a sloppy joe and I had the Alfredo, was just enough to feel satisfied. The flavor was very good as well. It did take almost 20 min for the food to arrive and unfortunately we had to wolf down our food since we only had 20 min left, so I wouldn't recommend sitting down if you only have an hour to spare. I just discovered Healthy Butter from my local farmers market in Long Beach. These are the absolute BEST nut butters I have ever had, and I'm sort of a nut butter freak. There are some creative flavors lsuch as macadamia nut butter with coconuts, the crack butter mixed with dates, and a couple varieties that contain coffee and chocolate bits...just to name a few Adrian will let you sample any of the flavors before you buy. If you want delicious, vegan, organic food, Orveganic is the place to go. The food is not only delicious but every single ingredient is carefully crafted. Mike is one of the few people in the food industry who have integrity for the food that is placed on peoples plates. The passion for vegan and organic food at Orveganic is unmatched and I trust these guys so much!!! My favorites are the Oaxacan jackfruit tacos, their yogurt, chia seed pudding, pasta Alfredo and literally all of their plant milks.
