This is truly a find of a vegan restaurant. It actually makes me feel special that I found it first among my vegan friends. The menu is expansive but in the same breath carefully created with organic, fresh, non GMO ingredients. Portions are generous too. I had the tacos which were flavorful and the chips and salsa were delicious. Probably over ate because everything tasted so good. Note to self next time. The setting is contemporary meets rustic charm. Loved the floor to ceiling windows bringing the outdoor in such a soothing manner. This was our first time here! Found on happy cow.net The restaurant was very warm which was nice since it's so cold out. Homie feel and very welcoming staff :) they brought ya different samplees of nut milks and spreads ALL SO DELICIOUS! We ordered the cacao regular almond milk :). My mom loved the raw collard green wraps!!! She's usually hard to impress lol. I ordered the Alfredo my favorite ! And my dad ordered the Oaxaca tacos we shared all of the dishes and loved all of the. We were very impressed and will definitely be going back !! So I don't write reviews often on Yelp, but every now and then, I really feel the need to give a place a shout out that goes far and beyond expectations. OrVeganic is one of those places. Before I talk about the food, I do want to mention that the customer service here is fantastic. I'm usually greeted by Erica and Irene, although I've also been in contact with Liz a few times as well. They are all incredibly nice and knowledgeable of the menu and the food. It's rare to come to a place and be given consistent great customer service all the time. I really appreciate it. The food here is 100% vegan. I've ordered different things on the menu and it seems like most, if not all, of the main dishes are given in very large portions. For the price, it's actually more than fair. Their almond mealk / milk is really good as well. It's probably the best vegan milk I've ever had, although I do find it a bit expensive, but I understand why it is priced the way it is. I think what makes this place a bit more special than other vegan restaurants is that the food and drinks here are all organic and healthy (lots of antioxidants and other good stuff). As someone who is trying to eat healthier and better, I do think this makes OrVeganic a unique and great place to come to. As for parking, they have a pretty good sized parking lot in the back. There's also street parking right in front of OrVeganic, but it's not really needed (usually). I highly recommend this place to both vegans and non-vegans. read more

Orveganic not only has a great vibe to it's ambience but also it reflects in all their healthy choices of food. This place is also microwave free and free from all the processed food. Their variety of home made nut milks are absolutely delicious, so is the selection of their coffee. I tried the Almond Chardonnay Cheddar Alfredo and it's lip smacking good. It's a bit on the sweeter side but I added some chili flakes to it and it was just perfect. I also bought a bottle of their home made almond milk and I am just loving it. Makes a great pre-workout meal as they are pretty filling and a protein filled. We enjoyed take out food from this restaurant for the first time last night. Our dear friends ordered a huge selection of items to try and all were amazing! We particularly loved the soups, the collard green wrap with dipping sauce, the Alfredo pasta, the sloppy joe and TexMex tofu scramble. The whole grain bread was incredible too. Portions were large and prepared with super healthy ingredients and cooking methods. Seasonings were spot on and addictive! This place is so good!! The service is great!! I walked in and they explained their menu gave me some favorites and let me sample their milk they use. It was delicious! I got the avocado toast with cheese and it was really delicious! The only downside was the teeny tiny size (picture attached) It was gone in two bites but really really tasty!! For $10 you'd expect a little more in the portion, but they were generous with the cheese and avocado which is nice who needs those carbs anyway! I also got the chili and that was good too!! Honestly I wanted to get one of their coffees made with milk but it was already an expensive lunch and a $6.50 coffee send over the top. Based off the sample I could tell that the cinnamon latte is going to be so good. The bar area and ambience is really cute too! It's a cute little spot but that's it. I actually am surprised to leave feeling very dissatisfied and annoyed about choosing this cafe to eat. Service was not good either. I'm surprised this place ran out of hot sauce and rationed you so little in small boxes and said they have no more when you asked for it. I got the sloppy Joe burger which I don't recommend. Maybe my order was wrong but it was basically a rice patty and beans over bread with a dollop of guac on it. Ordering a burger I didn't want beans and rice ! With no sauce or condiments or salad or anything on it. The cheese that they said was on the bread was so little I could taste none of it. Very disappointing. The tacos were fine again being a vegan restaurant I expect them to put some cheese some sauce or something that you can't eat in a regular non vegan restaurant on all their food or else I could go to a non vegan restaurant and eat the same thing. Flavorful and Fresh! Amazing place with outstanding staff/service. Favorite item is the Creamy Alfredo & Forbidden Balls. Nothing has topped it yet. It is a very generous portion and you'll wish you had the space to finish this. The idea here is not to overseason but to let the fresh flavors blend and sing a song on your tastebuds. For this reason, the flavors in some items like the jackfruit tacos and billy jack bowl is mild but still tasty! The Forbidden Hamburguesa is also great! It's the same "meat" in the Forbidden Balls from the pasta. Delicious! It is an open face burger (meaning no top "bun" & you'll need utensils) and amazing. The homemade super seed bread and the cashew crust are big winners here! This item comes with a side salad that has a very tasty yogurt vinaigrette! This item isn't as filling as the pasta so you'll have the perfect amount of room for some nut butters! I won't get too long winded but some of my favorites are: Cacao Kapow, Berry Freak, Figzilla, Crack Butter, & the newest Humble Riot. They also make their own Kombucha. The Pineapple flavor is excellent. There isn't an unnecessarily strong carbonation that you find in store bought kombucha. This place is amazing. Everything is Organic & well-put together. So far, I have tried the Oaxacan Tacos, Almond Chardonnay Alfredo, and Sweet Potato Three Bean Chili. All of it was A1 I'm definitely on a mission to try everything on the menu. Also, the Crazy Groats is the perfect snack. I bought a jar the other day and it has come in handy throughout the week. I'm baffled by all the super-positive reviews of OrVeganic. I found this place to be passable, but not great. I started off with an almond milk latte ($6.50). They make their own almond milk, which is the main appeal. Unfortunately, the milk is far too sweet. I wish I'd known that before ordering it. For my lunch I had the almond cheddar chardonnay alfredo ($13.75). This looked like it would be great, but it's also made with the almond milk, and therefore is also too sweet. Who wants sugary alfredo? I disliked the sour cream that comes with the dish, too. Maybe that's just me. The service is friendly and the owner keeps circulating around, talking to everyone. If OrVeganic had unsweetened almond milk, and added more spices and vegetables to the alfredo dish, it might be a winner. The restaurant itself is tucked away on a side street right off the freeway. My boyfriend was excited to take me here while I was visiting from Arizona because the plant-based menu and cute environment are just what I like! He always raves about the healthy, fresh almond milk and now I understand why. Scottsdale is a foodie wonderland so I was happy to visit a restaurant that felt like it could have been right in my neighborhood. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. They have a huge nut butter menu and lots of plant-based milks, and they give you samples to help you choose between them all. We left with three jars, including the almond, coconut & macadamia, and date & banana. I ordered the hot maple fig walnut cereal, which was enough for two people, and he had the jackfruit tacos.The food menu is a bit limited but it's easy to find something for everyone. I stumbled on this place because I'm sick of unhealthy restaurants in Southbay. It's tucked at the end of the street and the ambience inside is very earthy and comforting. I got the cinnamon latte and it has 15 grams of protein! It was so good and had a nice strong taste. They make their own nut milk and used fresh cinnamon on top. I then went with the vegan sloppy joe appetizer size which had a great dollop of quacamole on top. This was so good. The bread was great too. Yum. Yum. Yum. Yum. I have been getting the "healthy butter" from this company for a few years. Even though it is expensive for a small jar ($11 or more), it honestly is worth it. I was so excited when they opened their restaurant and was recently finally able to make it out to the west side and try their food. It did not disappoint at all. It lived up to every hope and dream! Everything is vegan and made to be a healthy choice. I went on a rainy day and had a beautiful, calm experience in their zen restaurant. It was the perfect atmosphere to unwind on a stressful day. On top of the ambience, all the employees are so sweet. It was fun to see one of my friends from the booth at the South Pasadena farmers' market. At their recommendation, I tried the pasta. I'm not usually a huge pasta person, but this was killer. I highly recommend it. It had mushrooms and the "blöde kuh" vegan cheese I have tried at the farmers' market as well. I love to see places like this supporting each other! The meal was very hearty and filling. I honestly had a hard time finishing it. I also got one of their "mylks" and though it was good, do not think it was worth the high price point. Next time I will probably opt to just get the meal and keep my overall check lower. I can not say enough great things about this place! We happened to stumble upon OrVeganic when we were looking for a vegan option near Manhattan Beach. We ordered the vegan sloppy joes, Alfredo pasta, split pea soup and the almond mealk latte. Sloppy Joe - what a creative take on a sloppy joe. The bread which replaces the bun is a dense seeded loaf slice that is so hearty and filling. The "meaty" portion is a sweet potato and bean chili. It was so flavorful, yet easy on the stomach. Alfredo pasta - I only had a few bites, but as a vegan, you will appreciate an Alfredo pasta that is both nutritious and filling Split pea soup - my 5 year old devoured it! It was loaded with veggies and a nice creamy consistency. Almond mealk latte - my favorite part!! I absolutely loved this drink. It has a natural sweetness that doesn't overpower the taste is the espresso. A bit pricey at $6.50, but I'd pay it again. In general, this place truly cares about the quality of food and the quantities are very substantial. I would eat one entree over 2 meals, so great value for the price. Vegan love for this new restaurant that opened in Lawndale California. We were very impressed with the whole foods, gluten-free, organic offerings in this cute little place. It is tiny but the tables are substantial, we did not feel like we were going to spill our Coffee if we bumped the table. I think we are going to go back in eventually try everything on the menu. I had the almond Chardonnay cheddar pasta, which was really substantial and delicious. My husband had the chili, and he remarked many times how good it was. The owner is very proud of what he is offering, and I am grateful to have a new vegan restaurant so close to home. I had a mocha, and my hubby had the signature maple cinnamon latte. Make sure to smell the cabbage and the rest of the food. It smelled like it was going bad but my 6 yr old and I ate it anyway because the other ingredients masked the smell and presentation was amazing. We brought left overs home and the next day it was just rancid in the fridge. That's how you know the food was close to being bad. It smelled so bad the next day. And we went straight home and put the food in the fridge (10 mins away). But our stomach has been hurting for 2 days. We usually do not get upset stomach like this for 2 days straight. And back, I have been....at least twice a week because the food is the South Bay's healthiest, tastiest and I'm not sure how they can offer their amazing dishes at such reasonable prices! It's hard to come across plant-based food that is prepared in a familiar way yet is not too processed. I had the Almond Chardonnay Chedder Alfredo (for the 2nd time) and the Protein Toast with fig peanut nut butter. I had just come from a workout, and the meal was filling without being bloating. I actually had to take half of it home! OrVeganic is a hidden gem- hard to catch from the street and relatively small, but I found it on Maps/Yelp anyways. The ambiance is posh and pleasant. The employees and the owner are very nice and accommodating. Reflective in the higher-than-average price, this is a great choice for a wholesome, hipster brunch/lunch. We almost didn't try it out because there was no website to browse and I only had the Yelp reviews [and photos of menu by other reviewers] to go off of.   I wasn't 100% sure this place was gluten free or not? The menu looked limited, too, and was worried my husband and I may feel like we didn't have many options. After a lot of back and forth [of not really wanting to drive into LA traffic] we decided to give this place a go. I can't tell you how grateful I am we did. Turns out, everything is gluten free and vegan. Made from scratch and organic.   After being seated and talking to the two [sweet] ladies who worked there, my husband and I realized that maybe it's okay to have a "smaller" menu. Would you rather have a menu with 30 options and all 30 options being mediocre and made with bulk/wholesale/refined ingredients OR a menu with a few, carefully selected options but everything is made with quality ingredients, genuine care and tastes good? I'll take the latter. When it comes to food and nutrition [should be one in the same], I'll always take the latter. [I was told] OrVeganic has only been open for 3 months; they are doing a soft opening, trying to work out any kinks before attempting more exposure. I personally think this is great because once word about this hidden gem gets out, they'll be overflowing with customers. I wish we had an OrVeganic in Seattle.
