It has been great so decide to get my 2002 Ford Explorer done here. The explorer was jerky only after a cold start so we tried going with a smaller fix before doing a full rebuild. I was quoted around $1k. It took around 5 days before I got my car back. He gave me a warranty of 2 weeks, full credit towards a rebuild, or after 2 weeks for 6 months, it would be $500 credit. The car was driving fine except during traffic so I had to bring it back in to get the full rebuild. It costed around $3k but I paid $2k since I got the $1k credited back. It has been a week, and the car has been fine since then. I recommend Leeco Transmission as they are very honest and kind. Sam was always friendly and does a good job. I believe they have employees here who speak mandarin or korean if needed. They do not have parking here, you just drive your car in.

He also suggested I should change my oil filter housing at 48k miles with no signs of coolant/oil leakages. Yes these are known to fail but no issues yet and I'm at 60k miles now. He said $1600 for OFH. My current mechanic can do for $1100 OE parts. My current mechanics has 8 lifts and are always busy, so no not some run of the mill shop that is low quality. During that visit, they also repaired one of my tires without clearly asking me beforehand. About a month later, I started hearing a strange noise coming from my right rear tire. After checking it, we discovered that there was a metal object loose inside the tire. I brought the car back to this shop because they were the ones who had previously worked on that tire. What upset me the most was their response. Instead of seriously considering whether the object could have been left inside during the previous tire repair, they told us that we must have put the metal object inside the tire ourselves. Why would a customer intentionally put a metal object inside their own tire? They removed the object, but still charged us another $30. I have the receipt and photos of the metal object that was removed from the tire. I cannot personally prove exactly when or how the object ended up inside the tire, but I can say exactly what happened: this shop worked on that same tire about a month earlier, the tire later developed a noticeable noise, a metal object was found loose inside it, and when we returned, the shop denied responsibility and accused us of putting it there ourselves. I was extremely disappointed with both the way this situation was handled and the accusation toward us. Based on my experience, I would not return.
