I've only ordered from Osaka Express via UberEats or DoorDash, so I cannot comment on any dine-in experience, but my mobile orders have been good. I was especially impressed by the crab rangoon, which came with six delicious pieces and dipping sauce (more than enough for one person). I ordered the chicken hibachi for my first order and combined steak with chicken for my second order. My only complaint from the two experiences is their use of a small container everything was packed into. The vegetables are not visible in any picture but are located beneath the meat. The fried rice is subpar in my opinion. I recommend paying the small fee and substituting noodles for the rice. I paid extra to have two yum yum sauces, but was unaware that the meal included one, so I ended up with three containers of the sauce (word to the wise to only order one side of sauce if you prefer the white sauce). This is an expeditious take-out spot close to home, so I will likely continue ordering from this location. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in land o lakes/lutz. They're always consistent and friendly. Service is fast. They have the BEST poke bowls and Poke burritos. The price is fair. They do not skimp you and it's all quality. I'm a loyal customer. It's so close! I really had no idea it was even there. This is a spin off of the Osaka Sushi Restaurant on Dale Mabry. Loved the poke bowl, got the tuna with brown rice and the chicken hibachi hits the spot. It's like a subway set up when you walk in. They have the poke menus where you fill out what you want. The five of us dined here for the first time. We all ordered different entrees for eating at the establishment, which only had one table in direct sunlight for the five of us. Most of the food was just okay, nothing special, but was $85 for carryout type food. I had the combination bowl that had all of the seafood in it for almost $15. The shrimp were clearly Rancid, and had a funky taste. They had such an off taste that I had to take them out of my bowl. I could not eat any more in the restaurant so I asked for to go containers. They gave me tiny Square containers for all of our entrees. There were two women working but they did not seem very outgoing or friendly, maybe because they don't speak much English? My husband and son said the beef was good, but they did not like the vegetables. My other son ordered the shrimp and noodles, and did not eat the shrimp because he said they tasted funny too. I am not sure what the sauce was on them, but it tasted a bit burnt. Would I go out of my way to go here again? Probably not since the shrimp were nasty in the bowl. read more

My husband brought home a large Poké bowl full of fresh fish. At $13 this bowl of fish was salmon shrimp tuna pineapple edamame rice and corn. The bowl was plenty for two people to eat the fish was very flavorful and we enjoyed the light sweet creamy sauce that was included to pour over the pokey bowl. We needed a quick lunch away from home and this place caught my eye. It's a small restaurant in a Publix plaza. The lady who help us was very nice. I was surprised that they didn't have a lunch menu. Both of us ordered the steak hibachi and while it was decent for the price, we were so disappointed when both of us had steak that was ice cold in the middle as if it were cooked earlier then refrigerated. It was just like taking some meat out of your fridge, putting it in the microwave and deciding to pit in longer because it's cold in the center. :(. I have tried just about every Poké Bowl place in Nashville, TN and Huntsville, AL up here and no one comes as close to the amount of protein you guys put in there with wonderful flavors.
