Why 4 stars? This is my first Poke Stop experience and it was pretty enjoyable. I got the Poke bowl with 2 meats. Tried the chicken and shrimp. Overall the flavor was good and the ingredients are fresh. The price point also was right where it should be. I was not ready for the items to be cold and the rice warm. That's was my only knock. I can get used to it but would prefer a warm meal. Will def be back. read more

Tried for the first time tonight and very impressed. Got it to go and it's packaged very neatly and each item has its own container. We ordered the steak hibachi with noodles. The steak and vegetables were perfect! The vegetables were crisp and crunchy and the steak was perfect with great seasoning. Definitely will be going back. read more

Wow what a great little hidden gem in Land O Lakes! The staff there was very helpful, patient, and kind when taking our order. Their menu had a good selection of food! Not only do they have great poke bowls but they make fresh, hot, and well cooked hibachi! I got the steak hibachi with noodles which was amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection and so tender! While there I also had a Thai Iced Tea which I have been searching for! The place was clean, organized, and smelled good! I've given this place 3 tries and it always makes our family sick. I'm not sure what's going on there but the food is just bad.

So, we love Osaka in Carrollwood and apparently these two restaurants are owned by the same people. We ordered to-go Hibachi last week and I was extremely happy with the price of two hibachi meals- one chicken with noodles and one steak with rice, the time it took to prepare them (20 min) and how good it was (yummy sauce included!.) So happy this place is a 5-10 min drive from us. We'll definitely be ordering from here again in the future. read more

Valentine's Day dinner WIN!! My husband just brought home some takeout. We've never been but I wanted to try something new so I told him to stop in and order some food. My family and I tried the Poke Bowl for the first time today! It was so good. I customized my own bowl and got chicken and the house poke sauce. Soooo good! Very very impressed. Very reasonably priced as well. My mom has the tuna and chicken and my brother had the chicken and shrimp. They were very happy with they're creations as well. Very pleased. Tried here tonight for the first time and ordered hibachi take out. I liked that you could add a second protein on for $3 and the portions were decent for the price. The staff were all very friendly and the clear onion soup was good, but there was only two very small mushroom slivers in with the soup. I did feel like the food didn't have much flavor compared to hibachi from other places, but it's nearby and I would definitely dine there again. read more

This place serves great food and service. Julie is a joy to know and talk with. My family and I frequent this place several times a month. They have a wide variety of protein including tofu for us vegetarians/vegans. The poke bowls are generous and so is the hibachi. I have had their tofu hibachi several times and it beats out Kobe's! In addition to the already fantastic poke bowls and hibachi, they now have several appetizers and two Asian salads. And they just got in Thai tea with boba!! You can't go wrong with this place. Another place opened down the road of which I tried, but I am sticking with Osaka Express as their sushi rice has a much better flavor and isn't balled up and overly sticky. Osaka's sauces have a better taste as well. Most of all, they give you a warm welcome upon entering their establishment. read more

Highest quality sushi bowl in the area. Have gone back and forth from fish bowl to here and you can not touch the quality and taste here. Fish bowl has upset my stomach after every meal and the fish had a odor to it, every time. Never here. It is more slightly more expensive and you don't get as much food as fish bowl but the taste is exceptional, the fish doesn't smell and my stomach doesn't get upset. read more

Awful experience. I picked my son from school and had to take him to his soccer game. Since it was going to get late decided to grab something for him to eat and he wanted noodles. Noticed this place and decided to ordered vegetable hibachi noodles for a take out. En route to the fields, when he opens the box he is disappointed to find rice instead of noodles. I immediately called the store to bring it to their attention and was told they would make it right for us. I asked my wife to go and pick the right order so that when we get home our son gets to eat the dish he so desired. To our horror, when my wife went to the store she was told they would just give the plain noodles. If vegetables were needed then my wife was asked to pay again for the cost of the dish. I expected them to do the right thing for the dish which they BOTCHED up, but it seems to be a very tall order. I was left with a bitter experience and a disappointed kid. This will be the first and the last time I would be at this store. read more
