I stopped in early in the day. My server, Lee, was friendly and efficient. I ordered the lunch sweet and sour chicken which came with soup or egg roll and Fried rice. I chose egg drop soup. It was standard fare. The chicken did not come with vegetables. Many restaurants do not add vegetables, so I should have asked. The chicken was fine. The fried rice was not great for me. I'd come back if in the area.

Got some general tso's chicken and hot n sour soup to go. Stopped in to pick it up and when i got the bill the guy had already written in a $20 dollar tip for $20 of food. I was like whoa buddy you aren't that awesome. Then it turns out the chicken was mediocre. The soup was good but i don't want my tips hijacked by some dork cashier. Won't be going back again, HO HO Choy fo life!

The food was amazing. My son and I had several of their rolls and enjoyed all of them. Service was quick.

Noticed this place earlier in the week when we came to pick up my daughter's uniform for school at Mascot Universe that's right next door. Walked in and seated immediately. The waitress greeted us after a little while to give us time to review the menu. I got the Kung Pao chicken dinner combo which comes with pork fried rice and choice of ginger salad or egg roll. I opted for the salad and my spice level as mild. Hubs got the general Tso chicken with wonton soup and white rice. Food came out hot and fast! The general Tso chicken was crispy and not soggy like most places. The taste was good. Kung Pao chicken I liked more than the general Tso although even my mild was spicy. Ingredients were fresh and tasty dishes. It was a bit humid in here. Unsure if the A/C was out but they had a standing unit running. The restaurant interior is a bit dated but overall positive experience.

I've been here so many times and I can't believe I've never done a review! The staff is so welcoming, and remember me and my daughters when we go! Their sushi is always fresh! Aside from the sushi, my favorite is the Chow Mei Fun! That's Emmy favorite to get "to-go". Their bench seating does sag a little when you sit, but you quickly forget once the food arrives! And it typically arrives quickly! The lighting is perfect, as is the music that is a little classical background, which is perfect. My favorite roll is the Volcano! Their crab Rangoon are very crispy on the outside and the filling is amazing! This last time we did the lunch bento box which comes with a soup or salad (I got the Miso soup and my daughter got the salad, which has the ginger dressing). We both got the Spicy Salmon and the Spicy Kani!

Not sure how this isn't 5 stars , this is true New York Chinese. Singapore mei fun was on point, shumei was awesome , runs like that I can only have in NY , we will be back and often !

After searching online for the best Crab Rangoon near me, House of China kept coming up repeatedly,…read moreso we decided to give it a try. Before visiting, I also checked their most recent Florida health inspection from May 14, 2026, which showed zero violations. That immediately gave me more confidence because cleanliness and food handling matter a lot to me. The restaurant is located in an older strip mall and honestly looks almost closed from the outside because the windows are dark and you cannot really see into the restaurant. Once inside though, the experience was much better than expected. The dining room was spacious, very clean, and much more comfortable than many smaller Chinese takeout spots. Staff were also friendly and our food came out fairly quickly. We ordered: - Orange Chicken with White Rice - General Tso's Chicken with White Rice - General Tso's Chicken with Pork Fried Rice - 8 Crab Rangoon - Pork Egg Roll The General Tso's Chicken was the standout item for us. The chicken had a good texture, the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming, and the pork fried rice had a lot more flavor than most places nearby. The Orange Chicken was also very solid and tasted fresh. The main reason we came was for the Crab Rangoon. I appreciated that they actually included real crab in the filling because many restaurants skip that completely and just use cream cheese. Ours were slightly overfried for my preference, but still enjoyable overall and definitely good enough that I would order them again. The pork egg roll was probably the weakest item. The flavor was okay, but the inside could have been cooked a little more thoroughly. Overall, this feels like a dependable neighborhood Chinese restaurant with clean operations, friendly service, and solid food. It may not be flashy or trendy, but I would absolutely return, especially for the chicken dishes and Crab Rangoon.

It is okay but not great but not bad either. Maybe I will try something else next time?

I waited until I was in the area and tried it. I was so impressed that I made a 2nd visit before I made this review. Located in a strip mall west of 275 on Fletcher, the menu is impressive. Once I disvovered, over 20 years ago, the treasure trove of authentic chinese dishes available at many chinese food places. I seldom order the cookie cutter American versions so many people find familiar. This place has Sichuan and Northern Chinese food. The ambiance is perfect, never too loud. The wait staff are young and pleasant. Very helpful and attentive. Plenty of free parking. My first visit blessed me with two cravable dishes that frolic in my mind joyously. The Handmade Noodles w/ Ginger & Scallìon and the Shrimp Rolls. The noodles made fresh every morning were luxurious on the palate, soft and silky with a perfect amount of heat from the chili oil and a subtle fragrant flavor that wooed the senses. The small crispy Shrimp Rolls bursting with delectable flavors was so enticing. I could devour those non-stop. I also had the Tea Smoked Duck and that is the only item I did not relate to. A bowl of seasoning is provided for you to dip your duck pieces as you ate. The duck alone had no appealing flavor. The flavor came as you dip the duck in the 5 spice. The issue was each bite tasted different, too little spice, too much spice and at times the perfect amount. I would much prefer for it to come flavored and spice by a pro in the kitchen so every bite was good. I tried a Choya Plum wine that was pleasant. My 2nd visit began with Sichuan Crispy Chili Wings. Delightful flavor, tossed with chili's, garlic and cilantro in a spicy sauce. An enjoyable amount of heat, covered in that tasty piquant and crispy sauce. The kicker was the addition of a few chunks of fried potatoes also covered in sauce. My sides were some low mein noodles and an amazing string bean dish stir fried with crispy garlic, minced pork and a chili sauce. A must try item. Again, a dish with spicy heat at a perfect pitch. The main attraction came in a small wok over a lit burner and is Griddle Fish. The same dish is also available in about 10 other protein choices. A fabulous dish that had wonderful textures and flavors. The fish however was mushy inside. Likely made with Swai or Tilapia which I detest since they live their lives in excrement. My fault for not thinking before I ordered since I had so many other choices. Delicious if you can get past the inferior fish quality. The desserts were marvelous. Cream Brulee Cheesecake and Yuzu Beignets. Rich and delectable. Beautifully balanced sweetness factor. Wife loved them! Cravable food is everywhere due to the chemicals fast food places use to trick your brain at the expense of your health. To find food you crave because of cooking mastery and the genius blend of the food, herbs and spices...well that is special. This is a special place. COME GET YA SOME!!

Even when it was brought to the table- the food looks good and promising! I was sat right next to the kitchen and to my astonishment, everyone in the kitchen was speaking Spanish!! I always say, THE BEST CHINESE FOOD is always prepared by CHINESE PEOPLE! Nothing against Spanish cooks, but if I'm coming for AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD, I want to know that there's someone back there who grew up eating the food they are preparing! With that being said, you can absolutely taste the Spanish influence! I have NEVER had fried rice that is covered in CILANTRO!! What?! The fried rice tasted like Spanish rice. We also ordered the General Tso chicken NOT SPICY. I heard the cook tell our waiter, "you gave them them the wrong one, you gave them the spicy one, did they say anything about it?" My white rice also had a dead bug in it!!! We didn't say anything because we already knew we would not be coming back here. So we just paid for our $83 bill and left, unsatisfied.. and went straight to Dairy Queen for chicken tenders Very disappointed as I had high hopes for a good Chinese restaurant.

The Zsechaun beef was too sweet, and The fried rice was tasteless. 2. The waitress didn't bring the soy sauce until we all had our meals. We had to request it. Then we had to wait for it. It should have been on the table before we ordered. 3. We asked the waitress to bring us low sodium and regular soy sauce. The low sodium has a green top. But the ingredients on the bottle with the green cap showed high sodium. Obviously someone had put a green cap on a high sodium bottle. 4. When I requested to see the manager, the waitress had to look for him. He was on the patio, where I could see him. I watched him put 4 chairs on a table before he came to see me. After about a five minute wait, I spoke with him. I pointed out the discrepancy of the green soy sauce cap being on a regular soy sauce bottle. He blamed it on the Kikkoman company, saying that it was their fault that the wrong cap was on the bottle. I suggested to him that someone put the wrong cap on the bottle in his kitchen. He said that would never happened. I pointed out that everyone at our table was sixty-five and up; and that most of us are on low sodium diets. This is a safety concern. He once again blamed it on the Kikkoman company. He suggested I call the Kikkoman Company. Maybe I will. Lousy food. Lousy manager.
