We have been there many times and have tried to support this business. We want good restaurants near us and this place was so good when it first opened. Prior to this visit, we have felt rushed in our dining even though we were there well before closing time. This time was absolutely ridiculous. We got there a bit after 8:15. They close at 9:30. At 9:00, they started putting the chairs up on the table. The server, even though there were less than 3 tables, charged our table the wrong bill, which is not the first time this happened. Makes us wonder. They began to start mopping the floor before we even got out the door. My sister-in-law has a hard time walking so that was not a good idea. We had to ask for silverware and napkins. So we found this restaurant which was very clean, not too big but just enough room for a nice amount of people. We were seated in a booth which was very clean because that is one of my pet peeve. The young lady came to greeted us very quickly with taking our orders. I ordered my steak medium and usually have to send it back because they usually cook it too done but it was cooked perfect the very first time. What makes me happy is how my plate was set up because first impressions is the best impression. They don't do substitutions because I'm not a salad person really. The sweet tea they had was so delicious. It wasn't just a regular tea bag because it was so delicious. You have to try it out. Now I love they make the Sushi right in front of you. I think the worse part was the California roll..it tasted bland and the portion was smaller than expected for the prices. They do have other offers besides sushi and I will try something cooked next time. I do recommend this restaurant because of the food, which was good and fresh; however, in my opinion the staff should be more attentive to the customers. When I went with my husband for the first time last week we ordered two specialty sushi rolls, we received one plate from the sushi bar thinking it was only the roll I ordered, thank God I didn't even touched the other roll that was on my plate because it was the one my husband ordered after me asking the waitress where was his food. The people next to us ordered separate rolls like us but they were served on different plates, plus they got the order before us even though we ordered first, which we didn't care at that point. Our concern was that the waitress never explained that my husband's order was on my plate or show any concern about it. The restaurant was a bit hectic so they were trying to get people out of the restaurant quickly to sit more, so for me the environment or ambiance was not the best, I felt rushed to be out. First off, I dislike writing bad reviews about new places and I'm even more annoyed bc I should've said something about the food when I was there. But honestly, I was so disappointed that I wasted my money on food I didn't enjoy at all. My first indication that it was about to go downhill was there isn't any shumai on the menu. Like, huh? I ordered the Takoyaki which looked great on the plate but that was it. It's fried balls with stuff inside, not sure what with small pieces of octopus and I mean very small pieces. On the outside, there is a bunch a stuff that I don't know what it is and bbq sauce and if it's not bbq sauce, it's some sort of ketchup thing that just shouldn't be on there at all, (just my opinion). I've never seen this on a Japanese menu or when in Japan. Then the rolls. I ordered the Beauty Alaska. What a disappointment. It's spicy salmon, cucumber, salmon avocado, scallion and fish eggs. The salmon was not fresh at all. It almost even tasted like un-fresh salmon nova. That is the 2nd worst sushi roll I have ever had. I wanted saba (mackerel) sashimi and they didn't have that. I literally left everything on the table. I couldn't take a bite more it was so bad. My server asked me if I wanted a take out container and I told her no. Again, mad at myself for not telling the manager that this was not good. It was the fastest I drank my saki to get out of there. I will say, the ladies bathroom was very clean and I really liked that. I don't think I'll be back, bc the menu is not your typical Japanese menu with items you would look forward. The rice looks and taste like white rice with sporadic pieces of soy sauce, noodle are TRASH! Sushi does not look nor taste like soft shell crab. This small sushi restaurant in Saint Cloud was an okay experience. I didn't want to drive to Orlando for sushi because of the weather so I wanted to give a local restaurant a chance. I had ordered Togo over the phone and when I arrived the service by the staff was every nice. Unfortunately, after getting my food, I can't say this will be a location I would try again. The prices are fair but not the best quality. My Philly roll was good but my crunchy tuna roll was unsatisfying all together. The tuna was warm like it was left on the counter with no cooling and the crunchy tempura (additional cost) wasn't crunchy at all, again it had a weird taste- it had a cold and had no crunch it was a soft texture as if it was left overs and had been in a refrigerator all day. In addition spicy mayo and eel sauce is an additional charge, not terrible but usually complimentary with an order. They did give me extra sauces since they had to charge but that wasn't necessary when I only needed one of each. I threw away the other extras. read more

I recently moved to St. Cloud and I have gone to at least four different sushi spots near; in search for good sushi. I even tried one in Orlando and one in Lake Nona. This place by far is the best sushi around town. It's very well priced for the quality. The fish is fresh and the rolls are nicely sized. They have a great selection of rolls and the ones I have tried are really good. If I had to knock something it would be how small the place is, but I very much enjoy the service provided. Osaka Sushi in St. Cloud is just what I have been waiting for in the area. There are several fast-food Asian eateries nearby and Papasan's did open last year, but Osaka focuses on sushi and teppanyaki foods. The interior is clean, the service was fast, and the food was good. I highly recommend going during lunch for the lunch prices but would be willing to pay dinner prices as well. The lunch chicken teppanyaki comes with soup (miso), salad, and the main dish (noodles, fried rice, and the chicken) and it was quite filling. We also ordered the Takoyaki which was good, not the best I have ever had but certainly hit the spot. The eel roll and Philadelphia role were decent, again, not the best ever but certainly hit the spot. Now, my favorite thing that we ordered was the tempura. We got the chicken and veggie tempura, and it was perfect. It was crispy, light, and sizable. Next time I will order two tempura appetizers and probably some rice and soup and be a very happy camper.
