Great local sushi spot. Friendly service, nice ambiance and delicious food. Excellent addition to the area. I come from Lake Nona and always look forward to returning, even through the Narcoossee bottleneck traffic. It's worth it. Highly recommend.

My husband and I decided to try this place out on a whim. From the outside it is simple and unassuming but once inside the decor is elegant and understated. My husband laughed because I kept saying how pretty the interior was The portions are generous and everything was flavorful and came out quickly! We tried the sushi chips, pan fried gyoza, the shrimp hibachi which came with soup and salad, a spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, yummy yummy roll and a beauty Alaska roll with no cucumber. Our waitress was quick and attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Will certainly be back

Great portion for lunch service. Happened to be stuck at a light and went here on a whim...while stopping at Publix. The lunch portions were very nice and the food came out fresh as well tasty. Gotta come back to try the other dishes like ramen , bento boxes, or other sushi rolls

Tried this place on a whim for take out and it was quick and good. I prefer my sushi rolls to be cut smaller but they were still flavorful and well made. The kid's chicken hibachi was delicious and a big portion. Would go back to try other things on the menu. Inside of restaurant is modern and inviting.

2nd time getting sushi- and yes definitely make this a regular sushi hit since we love done the road . Fish taste fresh, and overall great sushi ingredients. Being from Hawaii and just moving from there - this sushi definitely is amazing , helps when we don't want to drive all the way to Orlando for sushi/ poke. We have tried many rolls. These are the city roll, burning man and mariner roll. We did try them first lol

Great new restaurant close to Sunbridge and Lake Nona. The decorations and ambience are beautiful and very well done. The service was great. We loved the food and the variety of options that they had available. We had sushi but are looking forward to coming back for some of their other food options. Great new addition to the area!

I enjoyed our takeout lunch from Mizu Sushi. I don't usually do take out but this platter and the other cooked and raw dishes we were tasty and good to eat. I heard the inside of the restaurant is nice and look forward to trying it soon.

Upon entering one is greeted with a warm welcome. We began with our drink order which was hot green tea or jasmin. The tea was served in a teapot and honey in a small dipping dish. For an appetizer we tried their crab Rangoon. Surprisingly there was actually meat in them and they were delicious. As for the sushi every bite was perfect.

Came across this new sushi place next to Publix. The sushi was great with filling portions, I had to take a to-go box. Our waiter was very attentive and asked me several times if I needed anything. Most importantly I got my food super quick, which was perfect for me right after work.

After being…read morespooked by the prices of the next door business, finding reasonably priced delicious food was fantastic! First off this chicken karaage (Japanese style fried chicken) was perfection. So crunchy on the outside and tender and juicy on the imside. There is a process to making this and they did it so right!. Next the clear soup and miso soup. Both rich and flavorful one of the best clear soups I have tasted. The crab rangoon I think was made in house, very tasty and super crunchy and warm. The hibachi chicken and shrimp with fried rice were so good! The sauce was very well balanced and thick and the meat was lightly seared but not over cooked, bringing out the flavor. The place is nicely decorated and clean. Casual but good enough for a date. And the staff was nice prompt to answer questions and anticipated our needs. She seemed honestly excited to see us enjoy our food. A bit out of our way but most likely will stop by after the next appointment! Worth a try and if you live near you may become a regular. ゴチ張様でした

So we decided to drive a bit amd finally we decided on one place. Well that place wasn't this one. But we didn't end up eating at the other place. We then decided on this one. And boy oh boy we were glad we changed our mind. This has made it to our list of favorite restaurants. Little wait, well to be fair we were the only ones in the restaurant. I believe they were opening for late lunch. We ordered and we didn't wait long for the appetizers to come out. Soon after the main dishes came out. I want to go back! It was so good and we were stuffed and satisfied. Can't wait to return! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Only one bowl had regular rice while others had Brown Rice (marked with a B) which he informed me. I really wanted a salmon one but it didn't seem like it was made to order since he didn't offer to make one so I just picked up the Tuna one and went on my way. It was 9.99. The bowl had fresh tasting cuts of tuna mixed in a spicy soy sesame blend, edamame, seaweed salad, lettuce, carrots, half of a avocado over rice. I also asked for soy sauce and a little packet of Wasabi. The rice was like half of the bottom of the bowl. Everything was fresh and the rice as well. Lets talk about where Foodoko is located... Foodoko is INSIDE the huge VA building Patriots Cafe so it's not really a easy park and a few steps into the place. It'll take you to go through the gates and then go park either at the lot or in the garage to get to the cafe. Once inside look for the Patriots Cafe and it'll be towards the back of the cafeteria. The VA is a busy place taking care of lot of veterans so take into consideration when you want to venture inside. It a amazing building though. I think overall its a great addition to the VA cafe with better than grocery store sushi. I might swing by around to try a sushi burrito sometime.

She was the epitome of southern hospitality. Her welcoming and soft demeanor made our dinner great. On to the food. We were skeptical on how fresh the sushi would be. The owner promised me a remake, but unfortunately never followed through. That being said, I still really enjoy this place overall. The sushi is consistently good, especially the shrimp tempura roll, which is one of my favorites on the menu. The edamame is always a great starter, and the hibachi is absolutely fire. We usually come here specifically for the hibachi, and I love that they'll let you do double salad instead of the usual salad and soup combo. The plum wine is also great, and the restaurant itself is clean, comfortable, and has a nice atmosphere for both dine-in and takeout. While that one experience kept it from being a perfect rating, the food keeps bringing me back. Overall, it's still one of my favorite local spots for sushi and hibachi, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

They've added more ramen to the menu since my last review, and the Tan Tan ramen has quickly become one of my favorites. The spicy sesame peanut broth is rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat. If I'm not in the mood for ramen, I always go with the shiso butter yaki onigiri with a side of pork chashu. They torch the butter right at your table, which is such a fun touch, and it smells incredible. The mentaiko fries are still a must order every single visit, and for dessert you can't skip the matcha tiramisu or the taro ice cream with the hot green tea. All the RICE you can eat!…read more As a longtime regular customer, I'm extremely disappointed with the direction this restaurant has taken. The nigiri portions have become absolutely ridiculous. What used to be a balanced piece of sushi is now about 90% rice and 10% fish. The fish slices are paper-thin while the rice portions are oversized and packed tightly. For an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, it feels like a deliberate tactic to fill customers up on cheap rice so they can't order and enjoy more sushi. That's not what people come here for. We come for quality sushi, not fist-sized balls of rice with a sliver of fish on top. What makes this even more frustrating is that I brought my concerns to the staff and management and was essentially dismissed. There was no effort to address the issue or make things right. If you're going to cut portions and reduce quality, at least be honest about it instead of pretending nothing has changed. Unfortunately, after being a loyal customer for so long, I can no longer justify spending my money here. There are too many other sushi restaurants that understand what nigiri is supposed to look like and actually value their customers. Very disappointing experience.
