If you want some real good sushi, this is the place to go. I have been searching for real good sushi since I moved back from Japan and I have found it. At this restaurant you can get all you can eat sushi menu for 22.99 bucks in the evening monday thru Saturday evenings, all day Sunday's and lunch is 15.99 Monday thru Saturday. The all you can eat includes all the speciality rolls, Sashimi, Nigiri, appetizers ,soups, salads and more. I always make it an point to stop by whenever I am in Wilmington. The deal is way to good to pass up for the high quality of food deal! I have had a ton of sushi all over the world and this restaurant tops it in the eastern North Carolina. The fish is always fresh and never slimy or fishy tasting! The servers are very nice and have a great understanding of each roll. I highly highly recommend this restaurant to any sushi lover! But wait there's more!! The sushi is only a section of the restaurant, the rest of the restaurant is hibachi grills manned by performing chefs. I found their website online because we were parked at Walmart across the street and figured it would be quick and easy to order online and pick it up. Turns out I was wrong about everything! I placed the order online (on their website), which was only $13 and some change total. When I arrived to pick up the order, I was told that they no longer had that option on their website. I showed the lady working my credit card charge and informed her that their website indeed took orders. She told me to call the bank to dispute the charge. That being said, I let her know that I would like a refund or my food. She talked with another lady and once again told me that they would not honor the order even though I had been charged for it. Since I had a screaming baby in the car, I really didn't care to sit around and argue. They seemed to type some things in the computer, suggesting that they were finally placing the order so I could be on my way. I went outside and came back in to find out that they were not making my food. At that point, I lost it. Not only did they take my money, but they wasted my time. Poor business with poor service. As you picked your sushi, he'd mumble under his breath or talk into the air in Chinese but not with a particularly friendly look. I read up on a few yelp reviews before coming so I knew what to expect; however, my brother did not, and was quite reluctant for a return encounter with the unfriendly chef especially for sub-par sushi. Need a Chinese buffet fix, then Osaka Sushi buffet is the place. I like going here just for that, the buffet is pretty big with all the usual offerings. But I like that there is also a sushi buffet, a salad buffet with cold peel and eat shrimp. While the sushi is pretty small and similar, it works. My favorite part though is the Hibachi grill, to just create my own Hibachi plate which is cooked there for you. The service is as you would expect, friendly greet at the door, then the server is sufficient to fill your drink. But the buffet is why you are here, so go fill up one plate or more. The service was also a problem because when writing the check and the tip they look over people's shoulders and complain about low tips acting like they don't get enough of it already. Also, I forgot to mention, they charged for drinks even if you didn't get refills and even then they say they charge 3 dollars for refills despite putting 5 on the bill. Very disappointed in this buffet. In order to have a sushi buffet, there must be sushi! There was only 1 chef making the sushi and the rolls were not being replaced fast enough. During our dinner, many of the rolls were never even made. Also what kind of Asian restaurant doesn't have jasmine or green tea available? I was extremely disappointed when my hot tea came as a bag of Lipton tea. The food just did not taste freshly made and our stomachs paid the price.
