Have been going to our neighborhood slider bar Oskar's since it opened, and we're always so impressed with its consistency. My go-to: the veggie slider, the halloumi slider, & kale salad (very tangy with the right amount of citrus & texture). Ordered takeout for the first time yesterday, and happy to report everything was packaged well (hot in one bag, cold in another) & just as tasty as dining in. $18 per person for 3 sliders each and 3 sides to share is a good price, too. Pro tip: Always get the habanero honey ($1).

Absolutely my favorite go to place to relax, have a drink, eat tator tots and sliders. Outside is a great space and the staff are amazingly kind, wonderful people. If you haven't been here yet, go! (Also bear the zoo and kid friendly).

It's been a while since we have eaten here and it's not too far from our house. The fact that it was a cold and dreary day and Oskar's has that "Fargo feel" made it perfect. They have a large selection of sliders and all that we have had over the years have been delicious. We have become very fond of the pork belly sliders. We both had two different sliders plus shared an order of fries and-new to the menu-cheese curds. Although we were disappointed in the cheese curds in Milwaukee these cheese curds were good, especially with the smoked ketchup. Service was excellent so tip your server well.

If you've ever dreamt of a place where sliders reign supreme and flavor runs wild, look no further than Oskar's Slider Bar--a culinary oasis where the buns are small, but the satisfaction is mighty. Let's start with the cheeseburger slider, a little masterpiece of meaty perfection. It's like they packed an entire backyard barbecue into a two-bite wonder. Then there's the halloumi slider, a delightful surprise that tastes like a Mediterranean vacation--without the airfare or the awkward sunscreen application. The tots and fries are crispy little overachievers, ready to dive headfirst into an array of sauces that would make even a condiment minimalist rethink their life choices. Pro tip: double dip. No one's watching. And just when you think you're indulging in nothing but slider heaven, the beet salad sneaks in to remind you that vegetables exist--and can actually be delicious. It's like Oskar's way of saying, "We care about your arteries, kind of." Best of all, the prices won't leave your wallet weeping into its leather folds. For slider aficionados and beet salad believers alike, Oskar's Slider Bar is a must-visit. Just make sure to loosen your belt before you go.

The perfect place for small plates so you can try a variety of items. Everything is good but highly recommend the beet salad, the hot dog, and the pork belly... The service is casual and fast. Family friendly.

There were quite a few sliders and sides to choose from. The drink menu as well as beer menu were a good length for a quaint place. The servers were really nice. There isn't a tone of parking but everything was flavorful.

We visited here with friends a couple nights ago. Oh how I wish it were warmer out already so we could enjoy their beautiful patio! We were originally told it would be a 20 min wait for a part of 4. We were willing to wait of course! They had us follow them literally 5 minutes later. I don't remember our servers name but he was fantastic & on top of it! Helpful with all the questions we asked. They were pretty busy so it was expected that the food took a bit longer to make it to our table. We had our drinks so we were all good to wait & chat. Everything came out nice & hot. Our friends got some fries along with their sliders & they were the biggest thing we raved on about. I got the smoked Halloumi & smoked pork belly with a side of kale salad. All was delicious! The Halloumi is a cheese but surprisingly kind of looked like the texture of a chicken patty. Very yummy! My husband ordered pulled pork slider & corned beef, which he shared with me & it was all very good! Our friend bought this Viking Blod mead as a gift for my husband's birthday! They all liked it but I wasn't a big fan.

Such a great find while in the area! Our group of 6 (3 adults & 3 kids) loved eating lunch here. We ordered a whole bunch of items to share, and everything was delicious! They are all sliders, so smaller items, but we easily cut them in half and shared. They were all served in paper boats, but our group didn't mind passing items around. The staff was very kind and helpful, food came out quickly. We also enjoyed the drink options, and decor! The kids loved the big screen showing Elf too.

They are super accommodating. I had the burger, halloumi and chicken salad no bun and a wedge salad. They verified that these would all be GF. I did not get sick after and I have Celiac.

There are also picnic tables out front. You get a faint whiff of the grill/smoker upon entering. Kylie was our bartender and she was fabulous - knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions with patience. Wife ordered a mango margarita and doesn't like a lot of tequila, so Kylie went half and gave her a shot on the side in case she wanted to add more. It was wonderful. I had a couple of beers. We started with the fried mushrooms, which aren't what you would expect. It's two large portobellos cut into chunks, battered, fried, and served with sun-dried tomato mayo. They were great. I then ordered a duck taco, brisket taco, and a side of Grippo Fries with smoked mayo. I'd never tried duck but that taco was smack-a-lackin'. The brisket taco was also good, and the fries were fantastic - sweet and spicy, fresh cut, and crispy. Wife ordered a pork belly slider and truffle fries. She enjoyed the slider but didn't care for the fries - just not her thing. The portions here are large. A side of fries will feed three people. We took a hefty portion of them home, as well as some of the mushrooms. We could've sat there at the bar and spent 3 hours socializing and enjoying a smattering of cocktails - love the setting. Look forward to going back and trying one of the burgers at some point.

I was going to a UofL women's basketball game and I FINALLY was able to make it here. I went a little overboard on the food, but everything sounded so good! I really loved the pork belly slider and the duck tacos. Mac and cheese balls always slap. Then there are the famous duck fat fries. The portion is substantial, I was thrilled with that. Flavor wise they did not change my life like I was hoping they would. Still ate them all. The locale is super unassuming from the street, but inside it is really cool, divey, and broody. The staff was super sweet and helped me get in and out efficiently so I could make it to the game. Would absolutely recommend, would absolutely come back, and would absolutely bring friends here.

The wine pairings were thoughtfully selected and complemented each course beautifully. The service was also top-notch--attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced throughout the evening. Halibut and PEI mussels were incredible. Kalbi braised short ribs were incredible. Dining room is small, open and dim, maybe 20 tables. Music is contemporary and nice, kept at a volume that allows easy, quiet conversation. Service is very professional and respectful but not, like, "elite" -- we're still in Louisville. Cost is very high by Louisville standards at $125/person, but I'd say worth it for a 5-course prix fixe menu: an amuse-bouche, 2 seafood courses, a pasta course, a meat entree, and a dessert. I'd recommend skipping the wine pairing and just ordering your own drink(s), the pairing's a $65 add-on and didn't deepen the flavor experience for me. I also think the smoky bourbon dessert is made more for the 'Gram but it's fine, the lemon mochi cake was better. Also read the bill, even tho you'll wanna be classy and act rich when it comes. I think they add gratuity automatically to all bills (they did to ours as a table of 2) -- and that's fine, I actually appreciated it, just check so you don't accidentally double-tip (or do, but do so knowingly). Overall 610 is a lovely, quietly-chic restaurant at the top of the Louisville dining scene, leaning much harder on quality dishes prepared extremely well than on flashiness or gimmicks to set itself apart. I look forward to going back.

Sitting at the bar tonight, on a Wednesday, was very pleasant. The bar stools are quite comfortable. He is super attentive, knows how to properly make cocktails, and has one of the best personalities you would ever want for a bartender. If I were to ever open a bar or restaurant, I would try to steal him from Uptown. My husband and I had the $5 Whisky Wednesday bourbon to start (this alternates weekly, tonight was Buffalo Trace). Then we had our usual house salads, which are truly delicious. Probably the best salads on Bardstown Road or maybe even all of Louisville. The beer is always very cold.
