10 out of 10 tiramisu and wine and the owners are the best! Best place to stop by!

Wow!! Quaint and quiet place! Vast menu and Adrien, the owner, was so great to recommend dishes that we were all interested in! One teenaged daughter had the lasagna, along with a huge amount of fresh Parmesan cheese! She said it was the best she'd ever had. Another daughter had the spinach ravioli and I can attest it was yummy!! Husband had a custom made pizza recommended by Adrien (they also have gluten free crust) and I had the sea bass with a really good green salad with fresh carrots and tomatoes. Adrien also recommended a limoncello/prosecco drink that was so good!! We had reservations elsewhere but this was much closer to where we were staying and I'm so glad we stumbled upon it. We mainly chose this place because Adrien was so kind and greeted us unlike no other person had in the area. Thank you for a relaxing night and wonderful conversation, Adrien! We will be back!! Your new friends from Dallas, TX!!

This restaurant has only a few reviews, and I was curious as to why. We were tired and wanted to eat somewhere close to our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. Alessandro warmly greeted us outside and invited us in. I asked him if they had recently opened and he said no. He explained that they were under new management. They had 80% excellent-to-very good rating. We proceeded to have a delightful dinner. They offer a la carte and prix fixe menus, as well as pizzas. My husband had gnocchi with ragu - € 11.50 I got really adventurous and tried something completely new for me. I went for the prix fixe fish menu for € 18.50. My first course was spaghetti with black cuttlefish; my second course was a sea bass filet with polenta which I forgot to photograph. We also had a mixed salad. We enjoyed a bottle of their house white wine for € 9.50, which was crisp and refreshing. We would go back to the restaurant again. We had a delicious dinner in a quiet lovely restaurant with top-notch service by Alessandro. We finished with a complimentary glass of Limoncello. Thumbs up for this one! There were two things that we did not like. The cost of a 3/4 liter bottle of water was € 5 and the fact that on the bill cover was a note that the price did not include tipping. Well, my meal said that it did include cover and service charge. The high cost of water seems to have been the reason for the poor reviews. I have since stopped back to the restaurant and talked with Alessandro about the cost of the water - most restaurants charge between € 2-3 for a bottle of water. We also talked about the note about tipping. (You either offer a cover/service charge or ask for tips - not both.) He seemed receptive to what I explained to him, but I do not know if the owners will feel the same way

Just arrived to Venice and decided to have dinner here since it was close to our hotel and we do not regret! We had a wonderful experience. The waiter, Aldo, was so friendly and the food was amazing! Highly recommend.

Given that we were in Italy for a week for my daughter to say that's this place gave her the best pasta of the trip is saying something. We accidentally found this place. Lost and depending on Google maps and not quite being able to see signage we thought that this place was our Plan A and it turned out it was not. We enjoyed our food and that was the main thing. My daughter had the bolognese. She just absolutely loved the fresh pasta and the meat tomato sauce with a hint of heat. My other daughter was equally happy with her pesto pasta. My wife and cousin, having had enough of pasta, shared a steak and fries. Steak was cooked to order correctly and the fries were crisp. My aunt ordered meatballs and spaghetti. Red alert red alert! Can you say tourist menu item? Sigh. Well she fell for it and of course was mildly annoyed when her dish came out with 4 tiny meatballs. She was expected the 'Murican gluttonous version of meatballs the size of a softball. I went with the grilled branzino. I could smell it on the grill which was only a few feet away and I was excited. However taste did not match expectations as I found myself putting a little salt. Service was good not great. I had asked for a white wine twice which never came and thankfully did not appear on the bill. However one of the waiters was quite pleasant to my kids which always softens my Yelp heart.

Lots and lots of restaurants to choose from in Venice but this unassuming restaurant is a true gem…read more It's easy to miss as it's tucked in a corner right by a bridge. Once inside they have a couple tables with small window views of any gondolas passing by. We started off with a plate of lightly fried sardines topped with pickled white onions. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! It's a Family business that was been around for many years. Grazie to the friendly staff and chef!

I am so sad to give this restaurant such a poor rating after visiting many times during the last 20…read moreyears and loving it before. The jovial mood with the waiters with big personalities is gone. The menu you can find online is no longer available so you get a very limited menu to choose from--nearly entirely seafood. So if you have anyone in your party that just wants pasta with a red meat sauce or a non seafood lasagne, not available. We were a party of 8. Two people ordered the scallop appetizers. Pretty presentation on shells. 3 tiny scallops in the shells. More like an amuse bouche. Totally disappointing. The linguine with clams as an entree had clams so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see them. Couldn't taste the clams and annoying to try to eat something so tiny , and just try to eat the pasta with all those tiny shells. The baby shrimp on polenta was actually good. But again the shrimp were like tiny hatchlings tempura battered. Tasted okay except for those that were soggy from the polenta that was very soupy. I wanted the gnocchi with crab which was on the very limited menu but no longer available. The alternative was gnocchi with a sea bass sauce which I chose but didn't like at all. The gnocchi were good but the sauce wasn't at all for me. We had to continue to ask for side dishes for the bread, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. We will not return. Poor value for your money. Plus there is a cover charge and service included in your bill which was a surprise. Very sad to see our favorite Venetian restaurant decline so much.
