We were out shopping and surpassingly hadn't tried this place yet. It's in a great spot. When we walked and we were greeted promptly and sat. We were a party of six. I would go to Thai dishes at any Thai restaurant or Massa man in Penang. We weren't extremely hungry so our table of six ordered one kids teriyaki, two Massaman with chicken and white rice, and one order of Krab Rangoon's. I didn't try the chicken teriyaki but my girls (5 and 6) shared one kids meal and they ate all of it. So I feel that's a great indication it was good. The Krab Rangoons were oddly very fishy and very stringy. I'm used to them being not fishy, and having more of a mushy texture. The peculiar fishy taste threw me off. Yes it's fish, but the fishy taste is not usual. We didn't finish these. The Massaman was 5 stars. It wasn't watered down, and it had the nutty flavor we expect from Massaman. Two bowls were easily shared between 4 adults. The sodas are canned so just know this when ordering. I can't recall if the menus shows this. The restaurant could use a deep clean- the bathroom vents were quite dusty (the kids noticed this, I don't usually stare at vents ) which to me usually means the entire restaurant needs a bit more love and attention. Nothing was so bad though that I'd feel unsafe yo eat here just a bit more care. The service was fine. Nothing superb, nothing bad. The servers did their job and that was it. read more

Ordered door dash and all was good with that. I typically drink the Tom Yum broth and then eat the chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms last. You can see how little they actually put in the soup from this photo. I also ordered the Tom Kha Ga. It settled during the delivery time and you can see that there are also very few ingredients added to this. Mostly broth! The $6.00 ginger house salad is as expected but will never pay $6.00 for it again. I will go to other Thai places as there are much more to choose from. Service is polite but there is little follow up after the meal is served. No one checking in on you. Our visit today was the last we intend for a while. My dining companion and I have been there a few times with generally poor service follow up. Meal orders were taken quickly and food has always arrived hot. Today was such a cluster of misfortune we've decided not to return. I ordered the Chef's Thai Thai chicken, which looked appetizing. Slices of chicken flavored with an amazing sweet and slightly spicy broth. It was served atop Bok Choi, with cashews and the veggies were perfectly cooked and tender. The very overcooked sliced chicken pieces were so tough the serrated knife could barely cut through them. For some reason the serving plate was covered with aluminum foil, which shredded under the attack of the knife. Small balled pieces had to be moved away from the food before forking the portion into my mouth where it was barely able to be chewed. The tea and steamed rice were fine. But as always the service staff never checked to see how our meal was prepared. As a polite diner, I chose not to interrupt my companion's meal with a desire to try something else more edible, but made the best of probably one of the worst meals I've been served. It pains me to be so critical but there really is nothing I want to spend the effort to salvage here. read more

The establishment has a fish tank and a real sushi bar, but the tables are old and off balance. Try the Thai Thai fried rice, Sumptuously prepared, although the portions are small. I had lunch with my husband after working early morning. We closed the deal and hoped to treat ourselves. We were famished from working early in the morning. We ordered. The phad tai arrived one seafood and the other pork. We went to get the waiteress who served us eating lunch on B the other side. I told her the phad Thai is bland and it needs more sauce. It came back sd phad thai soup doused with sauce that we did not appreciate. I ate just the seafood which was not fresh. Not sure why there are any negative reviews, this place was fantastic! My family came here last night and we ordered quite a bit of food. I had the spicy conch salad as my main course and we had the spicy tuna roll, the fresh spring rolls, and edamame as an appetizer. My parents had a couple Thai dishes, the shrimp basil and the chicken ginger and they said both were delicious as well. The veggies were fresh and crisp, just the way we like them, the sauces were complex and spicy (not spicy enough for us so they gave us a tray of spices to make it to our liking). I live in ct but whenever I am in Florida and craving some Thai, I will definitely be back here. read more

Honestly a fairly terrible experience, especially if you're trying to eat gluten free. The staff had no idea what a gluten allergy is. Beyond that, the sushi was flavorless, the massaman curry tasted like straight allspice, and the crab Rangoon appetizer came out cold and at the same time as the entrees. A popular good Thai restaurant close to shopping off of Palm Bay Rd. in NE Melbourne Fl. Had a small Tom Kai Gai soup which was tasty and fresh. Also had the Basil Fish which was excellent. I later found out that the fish was tilapia which I normally do not order out but it was still very good. My date had the Basil Chicken which she said was flavorful but a little dry. Came to try this place since it's the closest to the house. I LOVE sushi, and I eat it at every chance I get, so I wanted to try it. Ordered a soup, gyoza, and a shrimp tempura roll. I feel disappointed. The sushi had way too much rice and it isn't indicated that it wasn't inside out. They also add some sort of sauce, not sure if it was from the ginger. The service was horrendous. The staff ignored us for the first 10 minutes we were standing at the register. When they finally acknowledged us they told us to sit wherever we wanted. If that's the case you couldn't have said something 10 minutes ago??? They took our drink order promptly, but then abandoned us for over 20 minutes before coming back to take or dinner order. We saw two cockroaches within 10 minutes of sitting at our table. They scurried across the floor not two feet from our table. The first red flag for me was that there are a couple fish tanks in the restaurant that were absolutely disgusting. There may have been a dead fish even but I couldn't tell. I felt terrible for what live fish were left inside as it was clear the staff didn't take care of them. I order the same thing every time. The sushime combo no longer has the second item for to go order. Not sure why. Today is Wednesday and the sushi was not at all fresh. Light brown around edges. Unedible:( the halibut and salmon were okay. Staff is okay. I only want what I pay for. I would gladly pay extra for reasonably fresh. 3.5 star is a fair rating for this place. During today's random day trip to Melbourne and a bout of "hangry-ness" (hungry + angry) we found ourselves at Thai Thai. Naturally I'm drawn to any place with the words Thai in it. Thai Thai is the run of the mill commercial Thai restaurant amongst the large Melbourne shopping plaza. The space is large enough and has two areas for seating - main dining and sushi bar. A giant wall with a huge built in fish tank separates the two. Today I sat at the sushi bar. Although the space is large it did have a strong seafood smell. The menu is pretty diverse with raw and cooked items which could be cause for the smell (my hangry-ness stopped me from taking pictures of the menu, my sincerest apologies!) Our server was very efficient and took our food and drink order quickly. The staff was very welcoming and inviting. I chose the Thai lunch special - Pad Thai to be specific which came with their soup of the day, chicken noodle. Although the soup seemed very simple (large chunks of chicken, onion, tomatoes and noodles) it was very flavorful. I would have been satisfied with the broth alone. I also placed an order for their spicy krab role, which I'm now realizing wasn't that spicy but it was tasty nonetheless. My Pad Thai was very good and had a strong peanut taste, from the peanut sauce they used, which I wasn't expecting. It was actually my first time ordering Pad Thai as I always get Pad Sew Ew on my trips to local Thai hangouts. I was pleasantly surprised once I got over my initial shock. The veggies and chicken were very fresh. My dish came with a spring roll that I didn't care for. I am not a huge fan of celery and this one was packed with it. Otherwise I generally love spring rolls. Overall I really enjoyed Thai Thai. The food was tasty and flavorful, the space was a little warm for my liking and had a strong seafood smell/odor but I would definitely go back. Maybe next time I won't sit at the sushi bar! Not to be confused with Thai Thai, because we alllll know I refuse and am boycotting Thai Thai. But I recently stumbled upon Thai Thai House. Sushi is my favorite food.. hands down! So being that I am in the market to find my new hot spot I am SUPER picky. Since we eat sushi at least once a week, I wanted to check this place out a few times before I make any rash decisions on calling them my new favorite place. But, I will say it. This is my new favorite sushi place! I've been here 4 times.. twice for lunch and twice for dinner. And every single time I love it more and more. I only have one small complaint. The sushi rolls themselves are loose. When you pick sushi up with chopsticks it usually (and shouldn't) fall apart. I thought maybe it was because it was a roll I had never tried before. They are all that way. If it were rolled tighter it would be perfect! I love having service right away. The servers here are efficient! Always aware of what is happening at your table and always readily available. The decor is beautiful. The artwork is Modern. They have outside seating which is nice if weather permits. They have a sushi bar and a decent sized seating area with long fish tank. I absolutely love the sushi here. I have yet to order from the kitchen menu but perhaps we will now that we'll be regulars here. :) read more
