Bear with me, this is going to be a very long review... My friends wanted to try this place out, and support local small businesses. However we had a horrendous experience. When we first got in, it was fairly busy, I thought it was a sit down restaurant, not takeout. No worries we can just take our food to go (we drove here from Addison). It was about 2:30 when we ordered. The prices seemed a bit high ($30 for a small sized entree with no sides). But that's fine, nobody forced us to dine here. My friend and I ordered a ram suya and a goat suya and my other friend ordered a beef suya and a wrap. We go and wait on the couch. It was quite hot and we started to sweat, waiting for our food. 25 minutes passed and we see other people receiving their food, no worries, I understand some dishes take longer than others to come out. However after 45 minutes we were getting fed up. Mind you my friend and I were the only asians in the store (the other friend was Nigerian), and seeing people who ordered way ahead of us get their food and leaving, it was quite agitating. Finally my friend (Nigerian friend) gets one of his dishes, but that's it. Finally after another 2-3 minutes, the cashier comes to us and tells my friend (the Nigerian one) that they ran out of an ingredient and would give it to him for free without the missing ingredient and he agreed but she completely ignores me and my other friend (both asian). The three of us get pretty upset at this point and I tell my friend to ask them how longer it will be. He goes and asks her and she says one of the dishes (goat suya) is ready but the other one was an ADDITIONAL 10-15 minutes... she offered a small sample of the beef suya to us three to share while we waited (mind you this is now 50 minutes) We decided to get a refund for the other dish and just take the one that's ready and leave. Incredibly rude and horrendous service! At least if yall are taking a bit longer, let me know, and if yall are out of an ingredient, please say that. Also, why were my friend and I (the asian ones) completely ignored while all of the other patrons at least were offered a refund or notified of shortages of ingredients. Even my Nigerian friend who was clearly with us was notified but I was completely ignored. Not gonna imply anything but actions speak louder than words. Finally when we got back home, the meat seemed low quality, about 75% of it was vegetables. The flavor was delicious but not $30 worth and definitely not with the service they offer. Maybe they were having a bad day, but I will never come back here again and would advise others not to patron this business either. read more

The food was really good. It was the day before thanks giving & I ordered the beef suya. The meat is hearty, I thought $30 was pricey until I was still eating on it after Thanksgiving. The purple onions really top it off. It's spicy & came fresh. Wait time was kinda lengthy, I was originally quoted 15 mins but it was well over. I've told several people this, but they have hands-down the best Suya that I've ever had in America. The only Suya that rivals it is the very authentic suya that I get at my mom's village literally in Nigeria. Nowhere in America comes close to how good this is. Their suya is literally so amazing, so authentic, and so flavorful. Everything that you need from Suya that is what they give. They are also very consistent as well. We order from them on a very consistent basis and I'm never disappointed. I also don't usually like chicken suya very much but their food is so good that even their chicken suya is actually quite tasty to me as well. In the video I added you can see that they have coleslaw as a side with their suya and I've never had that before and it was delicious. The staff is also always super friendly. Ok! Yes and yes!! This Suya spot was the best! It's located in a small shopping center and more of an order/pick up and to go spot! The service was great! Staff was helpful if you really don't know what you want. We got beef Suya and it came with fresh sliced purple onions on top!! This was Sooooo Good!! And Super SPICY. Before going we checked the website and was almost deterred thinking a small order of only chicken for 25 was crazy!!! We called to clarify if it came with anything else, but it didn't. My husband previously had a sample of their chicken while being in the area and couldn't stop raving about it. And now I know why! Also, we were completely wrong. It's a regular sized To Go/ Take Out container box with enough chicken to feed 2 hungry adults!! We hadn't eaten all day so we ordered that along with the Jollof rice. The portion sizes are definitely worth it. Our food was soo flipping tasty!! This was our first time tasting this type of seasoning/ spice and it was nothing short of amazing!! This is my favorite suya place in the DFW area rn, their food quality is very consistent and it's seasoned so well. I love the Afro fusion of certain foods like the suya tacos, it really gives you the best of both worlds. Their service is also impeccable because the owner gave us, along with everyone else, beef suya samples while we waited, which just shows great customer service. This is a very very solid spot. Id say best suya Ive had in Dallas at this point! I also love the fact they have a nice variety of Suya and give samplers out to try! The spot is really built for takeout but they have a small lobby area with a bit of seating for people to enjoy small afrobeat while you wait. Notable items for me on the menu were beef suya easily, chicken wings Suya and the Kilishi (Suya beef jerky). Their spice mix is so packed with heat and flavor, man I love it. A bit on the pricey side but the overall experience was great. I literally visited this place while visiting Dallas after seeing this place on Instagram. It's in a great neighborhood with nice vibes and ambience. The ram suya took about 25minutes to come out, which they did let us know when we were ordering that it will take that long. Shawarma was tasty but on the flaming hot side. The only downfall is you cannot preorder via phone. You have to order online or in person. Service wasn't bad as you would expect at typical Naija restaurant/establishments. I will need to come back here and try a few more things on the menu to give 5 stars. I just so happened to see this restaurant while driving home. I went in and purchased beef suya. While I waited, they gave me samples of several other meats, which I appreciate! It was SO GOOD.
