The eggs in the OG breakfast burrito had a weird texture, which makes me believe everything is pre-made and not made fresh. The space is cute, but very loud. Ordered the Caesar wrap, strawberry hibiscus shaken tea, and a matcha donut. The wrap was the best Caesar salad I've ever tasted I would so order it again. The strawberry shaken hibiscus tea is definitely sweet. I'm not a sweet tea person so I watered it down, but it was still really good. The matcha donut wasn't super earthy the way I feel a true matcha would be it almost tasted lemony. I would order the donut again. I will definitely go back and try more items in the future. The service was just a tiny bit slow but I did go on a weekend at noon so it was during the lunch rush and I think the staff was stretched a bit thin, but everyone was super nice! read more

I wish I could give this place a 10/5 stars. The food and drinks was quickly served in minutes. The coffee was delicious. My daughter loved her eggs and bananas. She did a little happy dance over her food, so you know it hit good. Pricing and portions were fair. I easily got full from the burrito. Everything was easily accessible, with their water cups, to-go containers, etc. Accommodating to little ones, which isn't very common at coffee shops. As much as I love Kuppa Joy, they don't have highchairs. The seating was cozy, as well as the vibes. I love the areas that feel like you're sitting at a couch with pillows. It was super clean instead, as well as chic and modern. It was very refreshing to be inside. I want to wrap up with the service with the staff. Everyone was extremely nice and patient with me. The servers were more than willing to help me, since my hands were full with my daughter. I felt welcomed. I felt at home. And I feel that's what Otherside Cafe is all about. Had a spontaneous lunch here before my nail appointment next door. There was a line out the door which caught my attention . Went for a matcha and ended up getting the spiced ube late (to go) and a tri tip bowl (south of the border). The drink was great and the bowl was even better! I can't wait to try one of their salads next visit. The place was super aesthetic, self seating, and has a patio area. The only reason I gave it -1 star is because the it felt a little loud and chaotic which isn't the biggest deal since it's a popular new cafe. Also I didn't realize you had to pick up your straw/utensils & napkins by the front entrance until I was given my order without any but maybe that's just me lol! read more

The coffee was great. I had a mocha and I was happy it wasn't overly sweet. It had a nice coffee flavor. The perfect pasty to go with it was the orange zest scone. I love a good scone and it was the best I've had. They make the pastries in house daily so everything is fresh. People in our group loved the breakfast burrito as well. The decor is fun and modern. It's a busy place but you don't feel rushed. The staff was friendly and checked on us several times to be sure we had everything we needed. If there is a bit of a line don't let that deter you, it moved quickly. I'm looking forward to a lunch sandwich on my next visit. read more

I came back here three times just to get a drink. Not delish at all. I made the mistake of not drinking it right when I got it on the first time, only when I was already driving away only to be hit with coffee water! The next time I made sure to ask for more flavorings and sugar with little ice, kind of better but still just sweet water. My final time I came back I made sure to wait and asked if they could remake it right when I got it, tbh didn't even taste it cuz I knew it was not right. Better than the times before but not as good as I remember it the first time. Get it with food so your brain gets excited and thinks the coffee is good too. I've been wanting try this spot ever since they opened, but in the nicest way possible, what a disappointing experience. The coffee was heavily watered down and masked by the syrup flavors (even after asking for sweetness adjustment). Tastes like they use single shot for their specialty coffees so I could not taste it at all. The breakfast burrito was okay but very salty. It was also expensive for the size. I finished it in 4 bites!! I hope they are able to make improvements soon. read more

My new favorite spot! Nothing falls short from amazing especially when it comes to the coffee and hospitality. Always greeted and taken care of upon walking in and the staff is super attentive. All the specialty coffees are a 10/10 but my favorite right now is almond+mint for a hot drink and golden hour for my iced pick. Fantastic meal. We did have to wait outside for 5 minutes to order. But then we sat right down and got our good within 10 minutes. Most importantly it was delicious. I had southwest bowl. Central Valley needs more cafes like this! ~ It took two visits before we actually got to finally experience the newly anticipated Otherside Cafe. First time was on the weekend and the line was out the door down the sidewalk so we went elsewhere. Second time was on a weekday and although it was fully bustling inside with a line we were able to find a table in the enclosed patio outside with heatlamps overhead. The modern space, ambience, design is what I would expect of the Saizon restaurant group and reminds me more of a cafe you'd find in LA than Fresno. Timing wise, our food and beverages came out separately in piece meals and took a while. We ordered the steak breakfast burrito, smoked salmon avocado toast, honey saffron cafe au lait and regular latte. The breakfast burrito, which is usually the beau's go to on menus, was nicely seasoned but salsa verde was on the blander side and could have had more heat for our liking. Avocado toast is our specialty to make at home so we are very particular about ordering it. By the time it came out we had already eaten half the burrito. Bread was perfectly toasty and tastefully dressed with special touches of microgreens, seeds and crumbs of egg yolk. We enjoyed the creative coffee twist but usually prefer our coffee less sweet. Overall a good, lively spot to socialize over coffee and breakfast bites if you don't mind the wait or crowdedness. read more

Nice ambiance , but takes forever to put in your order,also takes a long time for your food to be presented. I order a coffee mocha to go, it came to me in a regular coffee cup sent it back to get in a paper cup took 10 minutes to get it returned in a to go cup. The breakfast sandwich was tasty but greasy. I had to request a lid for the to go mocha after waiting so long have it put in a to go cup. The overpriced donut for my grandma she stated "tasted old". This place is either overrated or I'm just ordering the wrong things. I first ordered a chai latte which was just okay. The garden breakfast burrito was decent, but nothing special about it the potatoes were hard and the tortilla didn't seemed cooked through so it had a chewy texture. I then ordered a golden hour iced latte which was a better drink but again nothing special. The line is almost always out the door no matter the day or time you go. This place really only has its "aesthetic" design going for it, and the wait staff was super nice. read more

I personally think that although there's plenty of people in there and the building is big, it's just really plain and too modern. Lacks personality or welcoming vibe.
