This cafe was so cute on the inside! It was very warm feeling. It wasn't too busy when I walked in, just 2 other customers were inside. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions I had. I received my food/drink within about 10 minutes after ordering. The great pumpkin latte was not all that good. It was a bit too sweet for my liking. My friend tried it and she said it was alright but also way too sweet for her. Maybe an extra shot would've been a good idea or just lighter on the syrups. I ended up throwing the drink away since it was just too much for me. The panini was alright. The taste was there and it was nice and hot (since it was freshly made) so the cheese and pesto were superb. My only gripe was the chicken was a bit too dry for me. It made it a bit too tough for me to eat, and kind of hurt my jaw after a few bites. I would probably come back to this place and try other items instead because it seems like they have a good thing going, I just might've not gotten the best options. read more

Ordered Halloween specials Wolfsbane latte and witches brew (medium are 6 each). The witches brew was a matcha base, not quite right. Wolfsbane was excellent . The ambiance was thoughtful and excellent for Halloween. Service was quick. Place has some power plugs and WiFi so it might be a cool place to work. read more

This place is so so cute!!! I love their Halloween decorations and the vibes inside the shop. Service was solid and drinks came out in a timely manner. Despite the good vibes of this place, I was left slightly disappointed because of the drinks. I tried the pumpkin spice, golden morning, and banana bread latter. All were not so great. Only the pumpkin spice felt flavorful enough. The flavors were too subtle in the other drinks, I prefer a stronger taste. Also, banana bread didn't taste like banana bread imo. All the drinks tasted quite milky or watery? It wasn't bad, but I don't think I'd come back here again for drinks. Maybe for people who like subtle flavors, this is the place. But I really like more of a kick so it was a no overall for me. But yes to the decorations! I love it and would like to see how they decorate for Christmas lol read more

This place was cute walking in and it was also pretty busy! We were greeted but the cashier didn't seem too happy to be there. They seemed a little overwhelmed. Aside from that we only ordered food no drinks and waited awhile, which is how I knew they were overwhelmed with orders. I got the burrata toast and it was actually pretty good! It had pesto on it and that really complemented it well! All in all I'd try again for the coffee and hopefully come on a day that isn't so hectic for them. read more

We have been here already 3 times and always tried different and most popular coffees from their menu one was the Churro and Toffee coffees, but didn't like either , it was too watery and the seem like they used not good quality syrup or sweetener cause it smelled not good. Stopped by Before Ten Café for the first time and had a solid experience overall. I ordered a cappuccino and a breakfast burrito, both were good! The cappuccino had a nice balance and smooth texture, and the burrito was hearty and flavorful. The vibe is an interesting mix of lowkey hipster meets slightly bougie North Fresno--stylish but still relaxed. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which added to the good atmosphere. I asked for pico de gallo but got the spicy sour cream instead--it was okay, just not what I expected. Bonus points for the mini Cholula packets though - perfect touch for the burrito! Only thing I'd change: it'd be nice if dine-in customers got their coffee in real cups or mugs instead of paper ones, it would elevate the experience and match the café's cozy aesthetic. This place was great! Two solid breakfast burritos, and they come with different salsa to add. One pico de gallo, a Sriracha, sour cream, and a chipotle sauce. The meat was fresh and the grilled tortilla was perfect. Highly recommend for a quick bite and nice coffee read more

This place is a very cute cafe , clean and seating inside and outside. I ordered the cafe churro With avocado toast. My coffee was so sweet and milky, I didn't get a coffee flavor at all. The avocado toast was good, however they for sure burnt the ciabatta and scraped off the burnt layer. My friend ordered a breakfast bowl. She said it was ok but it was very small for $15. read more

This new coffee spot was super cute and had decent service, but my friend and I were disappointed with coffee and food. We ordered: -Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso ($5): my friend did not enjoy this at all. On her first sip, she immediately recognized a gritty, undesirable texture in her drink. She tried a few more sips, but ultimately did not want to drink anymore. -Yogurt Parfait ($5): again this was my friend's order. It came with vanilla yogurt and some berries. It was supposed to come with granola, but none was served. She compared it to a McDonald's Fruit and Yogurt parfait in taste and quality. She did not finish it. -Golden Morning ($6)- this was my drink. The cold foam was good. But the overall depth and taste of the drink was nothing special. I found the taste a little bitter. -Burrata Avo Toast ($10)- I was so underwhelmed by this avo toast. It had pesto, avocado, burrata and cherry tomatoes. In theory, it sounded delicious. It usually comes with balsamic but I requested it without. The bread its served on is not hearty enough for this dish; it just smushed under the toppings. So I just felt I was eating forkfuls of the toppings I don't feel compelled to return. read more

Happened up this cafe this morning after my morning walk at the park. They have some delicious options for breakfast and their teas are really good. They recently opened up, it was a different cafe before but I never got a chance to visit. They have some sitting outside and inside. There are some table games to play while you are waiting. My friend and I played Connect Foir while we waited. I tried their breakfast bowl, this has scrambled eggs, chopped ham, sausage patty, bacon, cheese and potatoes. It comes with pico de gallo and salsa. It was delicious and filling. I loved their iced tea, Mango Palmer. Half black ice tea with Mano lemonade with chunks of frozen mango. Truly refreshing. The service was a little slow, I wasn't sure if it was because they only scheduled two people because of holiday weekend or if that is the norm. Nevertheless, we had a lovely breakfast and the two employees were doing good job. Definitely will go back to some other items on their menu. read more

First timers! Loved the vibes and the coffee! I got mocha mirage which had dark chocolate and coconut and the hubby got cafe churro. Just the perfect amount of coffee/sweetness. I saw an instagram post pop up for Before Ten and I knew I had to try it out as I am a sucker for coffee shops! I did have a hard time locating the actual shop as it still says cafe 86 on the building, but I figured it out and I'm glad I did! The inside was cozy with couches, tables and comfortable chairs. I got a golden morning and my daughter ordered a matcha latte, both were delicious! We also got a bagel sandwich, it was alright, the bacon was a little soft, but everything else was good in it. It did take awhile, but they just opened and it was fresh, so it was worth the wait. I can't wait to try another speciality latte again soon! read more

new coffee shop and cafe in fort washington, saw a sign while driving around and had to swing by. i came pretty late around 6:00 PM (the hours have now changed, they close at 2:00 PM) and figured i'd get a matcha. always on the hunt for new greta matcha spots in town, and this one was super solid! good mixture of texture and flavor, while not overly sweet. essentials of a good matcha i think. really good vibes inside too, super spacious and seems to be a perfect spot to meet a friend or even get some work down. i'd recommend! read more

This isn't a review about the coffee or food itself because I never actually got to try it. I had heard a couple good things about this cafe and decided to go try it out this morning. Unfortunately they only had one person working and it seemed he was busy trying to fulfill other orders (completely understand) that he couldn't even stop to take my order even though I was the only one at the counter. I think they take doordash as well because the employee seemed to be making coffees and food items in the back, and some doordashers were also there waiting to pick up food. Ultimately I stood there for more than 5 minutes without my order even being taken and ended up going next door to starbucks. Not sure if maybe someone called out but definitely not a good look to only have one person working and trying to get everything done. I might try again another time when they have more people working and see how it is. But for right now my recommendation to this business is make sure there are enough people on the clock to make sure your customers are getting the best experience possible. read more

I ordered the pistachio affogato and an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese. The pistachio affogato was slightly disappointing. A good affogato should have contrast between the hotness of the espresso and the coldness of the ice cream. I don't know if maybe the espresso:ice cream ratio was off but, by the time I got it, the whole dessert was cold. I would have asked for another shot of espresso to pour on top, but I was pressed for time. Espresso flavor was good. Ice cream was not as creamy as other affogatos I've had in town. The chopped pistachios on top gave it a nice crunch, but I couldn't taste pistachio flavor in the drink itself. When I finished the desert, I found a layer of pistachio paste at the very bottom. This had a good pistachio flavor, but it wasn't stirred into the drink. I'm not sure whether it was meant to be stirred into the drink or left on the bottom. I thought it was kind of a weird afterthought left on the bottom as it was. The everything bagel was nicely toasted and had good flavor. But the cream cheese that accompanied it was the squeeze tube kind, and there wasn't enough cream cheese. I think it was 1 oz- not enough to coat both sides of the bagel. If I'm not mistaken, the price of the bagel was $1.00 more than the price listed on the menu. Service was friendly and I liked the cell phone charging setup. read more

I ordered a small chai latte at 9:30am and didn't receive it until 10:10am. There was 1 barista rushing around prioritizing all door dash orders, and a full lobby of people awkwardly looking around. My chai wasn't good enough to come back for that kind of wait time. read more

We came because the fall menu looked super good. When we got there we learned they were no longer selling the fall menu even though it was sitting outside. We wanted toast but the toaster was broken, then we ordered an açaí bowl and learned they were out of açaí. My friend asked for a chai but they were out of chai, then we asked for cafe churro lattes and they said they were out of their cinnamon syrup. We ended up getting two lattes with different syrup, a breakfast burrito, and a muffin from the bakery case. Someone came in after us and asked for a cup of regular coffee, and he was told they only had espresso. It was a little bit frustrating that they're advertising a menu that's not offered and we weren't told upfront about the limited menu. read more

I was rather disappointed to be honest. Let's start with the pros: great ambiance, the staff was friendly, tiramisu coffee was fantastic! Now the not so good: they were out of chicken at 12:00, if I'm paying $40 for 2 sandwiches and coffees, please make sure to have my order correct and on a plate, not as if it's a to go order. I had to get up to ask for my MILs side salad, then the sandwich was not made correctly. I'm willing to give this place another try after they iron out the kinks of a new spot, especially for the coffee. read more

coffee is good. price is decent. however, waiting 15 minutes for one coffee is kind of crazy. also i shouldn't be able to hear the workers gossiping about their workplace while I'm sitting in the complete opposite side of the cafe. to top it all off the cups are very cheap. grabbed the cup from the middle to take a drink from the sip lid and the cup collapsed and coffee spilled all over me. then when i tried to put the lid on the cup cracked right down the middle. guess I'm cleaning my car today. from what i can tell the cafe is still very new. i would give them another try in a few weeks. read more
