Wanted some sushi and this was close to where we were at the time. The reviews seemed good so we thought we would try it. They also had a patio and that worked since we had our pup with us. Our server was really sweet and attentive. We ordered a few rolls and the shrimp tempura. The tempura was good, though the batter was a bit different. It was more crispy than light. So again, not bad just different. We ordered three rolls: lemon cilantro, point break and west coast. All were good. The lemon cilantro was yummy but one slice didn't have any salmon on top. Not a huge deal but all pieces should have fish on it. The other two were good as well. I ordered the spicy seafood udon to go. I ate it later and it was yummy. Nice seafood in it and I asked for mild spice and it seemed they certainly tried. The sushi rolls were good but kind of average. The soup was good as I really like udon. The place was certainly busy and the prices were good. We would probably return if we were in the area.

Point break! Best in SD YUMMM!!

Food service and quickness of the chefs was amazing!! They had great vibes and great options!!

Bottom to top and all delicious: Baby Shark (fave), Kraken, Yellow Flash, Bruce Lee, & Lemon Cilantro (sub hamachi)

It was busy on Friday night when we arrived at 7:30. We had to wait 15 minutes for a table, so we had a beverage at Boil Daddy next door while we waited for the trxt that our table was ready. Our order was taken quickly. The sushi was great and arrived fairly quick. Our beers were cold and they have a decent selection. For 6 rolls (Baby shark, kraken, yellow flash, bruce lee, and lemon cilantro - Fireball roll not in picture) and 3 drinks our bill was $120, which is reasonable and we were all full when we left.

Been eyeing this place for a while now and decided to finally give it a try! The wait wasn't long but we sat outside and it was super hot. Lots of empty tables but none were cleaned off. Servers were nice and pretty fast. The food was amazing! Might be out new go to! Although we needed refills on water and no one really came by to check up on us. So we then asked for our check and left. Sushi quality was very good and the salmon kama super yummy and hot!

Had a great Sunday lunch we were able to get four rolls for two people and it was plenty of food. Happy to recommend this place and share it with friends!

I'm really picky when it comes to the quality and freshness of the fish in my sushi rolls, so I don't give compliments lightly. This place exceeded my expectations! The fish was fresh, flavorful, and everything was prepared perfectly. My daughter absolutely loves their gyoza. We also love their outdoor seating, it's comfortable, relaxing, and makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish, and we'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Bought some sushi then drove over to shelter island and sat at a table over looking the bay! It was so good the fresh soft shell crab!

First time here and it was okay! I ordered the lemon cilantro roll & the picasso roll. Both rolls were fine and tasty. But it was just a bit plain on the inside - majority of the rolls here mainly have crab. It was crowded maybe cause I went during happy hour. Service was fine! Free parking lot outside.

This place is my favorite in San Diego I've been here so many times I've lost count. The food is absolutely amazing; I've ordered the same dish on different visits, and you still manage to amaze me every time. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, almost like home, and the staff is always polite and friendly. My most sincere thanks and appreciation to the chefs for such incredible food you guys are artists. The only sad part is when you're closed and I'm hungry Thank you for the consistently delicious meals!

not the greatest picture. but California rolls! my kids love them.

We love this place! To be honest--we mostly get take-out here (we do "sushi Sunday" in our house) but we have also dined in dozens of times. My kids love the California rolls, udon noddles, fried rice, and yakisoba noodles. It's a great place to try here in Point Loma and the vibe is not hectic at all when you pick up or dine in. They have ample parking and a convenient location.

We ordered the chicken kaarage and yakitori negima for appetizers, as well as the Sunset and Black Pearls Rolls. They were able to accommodate my substitution of spicy tuna for spicy salmon in the Black Pearls Roll, which I appreciated greatly. The chicken kaarage and yakitori negima were both delicious, both crispy and flavorful. The hand cut rolls were bigger than my mom had anticipated; I actually enjoy when sushi restaurants make the hand cut rolls big but I understand why other people wouldn't enjoy the size difference, something to keep in mind. The hand cut rolls were both delicious and especially enhanced by the ponzu sauce. Service was really kind and attentive.
