First, the prices changed drastically, and ever since then, the quality has been consistently below par. We spend quite a bit here, but it has become a regular disappointment. If it happened once in a while, I could understand, but it's every single time. Out of a bag, we regularly end up losing 3 to 4 coconuts. The last time was the worst, 8 out of 12 were bad. They explained everything and walked me to the cooler. I was so excited that I bought the Polish sausage, pepper bacon, and some breakfast sausage. So how was their product? The pepper bacon is so good that you will know you have never really had bacon before! The Polish sausage is the best I've ever had. The historic home, museum rooms, gift shop, bakery counter, and beautifully maintained grounds make it feel like a destination rather than just a place to grab breakfast. The atmosphere reminded me of visiting a family home that has been lovingly preserved for generations. It's packed with Pioneer products, baking mixes, Texas-made goods, and unique souvenirs. The bakery case alone is worth checking out because the desserts are enormous and looked amazing.
