Otter's is the place to be during any major sports game. No other place can beat tons of TVs, a giant projector screen, and $2 drafts everyday. There are so many options when eating at Otter's Chicken! You can get your chicken either fried, grilled, or buffalo. My favorite is the grilled chicken spinach wrap. They also have a new buffalo chicken dip that is delicious. I also like all of the local sports stuff, including the players of the week which features local students from surrounding high schools! Otter's will need to get some KSU football stuff soon! read more

What a great place! The food is great, service is exceptional, and the atmosphere is fun. Otter's is a great lunch or dinner spot and I never get tired of it. By far one of my favorite places to watch college football. There are so many things on the menu that I enjoy and have never been disappointed. The buffalo chicken dip is always a staple in our meals at Otter's and we always scrape the bowl clean! They never skip on quality and it shows in both their food and their service. Overall, Otter's is a great place for family, friends, or even take-out. I've used it for catering as well and it was definitely a hit - my platter was the first one gone! Family enjoyed our trip there this evening. 4 adults one kid, one beer; $47. The restaurant was busy even though it was past the dinner hour. The food came out quickly. Had a Fat Tire beer too. I think their big thing is the fingers which I had grilled and others in my party ate fried and we all enjoyed. I liked the fries. We ate on the patio. I thought I'd add this review because I didn't understand why my wife and kids have been visiting this place whenever they hit The Avenues at West Cobb, yet the reviews weren't that impressive. I figure that they have improved since those reviews, and / or people that had a good experience don't take time to place a review as frequently. I love the lemon pepper wings and the crinkly fries and the ice is the small crunchy style..........I see lots of reviewers being critical because it s another chicken place...........but it's pretty good and beats the full service rest costs in the Avenue when you just need something relatively quick. Hey sometimes I want another chicken rest. ! By the way they have free wireless....just ask at counter for the log-in ID. Iphone, IPad...Word with Friends addicts be served ! I'm giving this place a 2 star because the food was actually descent. The service sucked. They have like a whole bunch of high school students working there (which is not a problem) I ordered the 10 wings meal which I knew didn't come with a drink , but I thought it would at least come with fries , right? Wrong. So when the girl brings out my good I asked her were the fries still cooking and she said they didn't come with fries hence I said the 10 piece wing meal. So after looking at their menu online later on that night it did state on their menu that it does come with fries and celery and ranch. Hmm that's weird. And the girl gave me an attitude about it too as if it's my fault that I didn't know that fries didn't come with it? Which it did. They need better customer service here. read more

My daughter is a big fan of otters chicken and the otters sauce. We even had it for her graduation party this past year. We would advise to go orders to count their chicken before they leave! We ordered and paid for the 20 pc. But when we got it home we were very disappointed to find that there were only 15 pieces... i feel like it is a great place for high school students to hang out (and there are a lot of them there). However, i think their quality of service has really taken a downward turn. read more

Paid over 7 bucks for a salad that appeared to have 1 piece of fried chicken finger. Some iceberg lettuce 3 carrots and some tomatoes. Kids got chicken fingers that tasted frozen. The plates of food didn't look anything like the photos. Real disappointment. Won't be back. read more

A great spot when you're in the market for chicken tenders, wings and related items. I have had almost evertything on the menu and can tell you that the taste and value are excellent. Similar to Zaxby's menu, the quality of the ingredients are a cut above. Service is friendly and fast, especially since it is cooked to order and not waiting under a heat lamp. Despite what you might read, this location is locally owned and operated and is only a franchisee in a legal sense. The next time you're looking for this type of food check Otter's out (you can even take mommy along). See you there! read more

I ordered wings and my hubby ordered chicken tenders. Chicken was good, not a fan of the small crinkle fries. I love wings and if I'm in need of my fix, I would go here...even though I think they are overpriced. But for this area, you really have no choice. I've loved otters for years. My food is always great, and I've never had any problems. I work near the avenue so I eat there a lot. Lately, the customer service is declining. I was in there Tuesday for lunch and the 2 girls that were working were rude. It took several minutes to even get someone to the register and when I did, it was like I was putting them out. It was uncomfortable. I hope they get this resolved because I love this place and their food! read more

The fries are very good, but the chicken leaves something to be desired. I am not a fan of zaxby's, but would choose zaxby's over otter's any day of the week. I had a grilled chicken wrap that had ingredients that were undistinguishable. The chicken was mushy. Our whole family ate there and both myself and my toddler age daughters got sick after dinner. We were here last night having dinner. It was filthy, throughout, and unkempt, to begin with. The young lady taking orders was wiping down counters when we came in. Without washing her hands she transitioned to the register (and we noticed ALL the employees taking this same approach) where she took our order and then proceeded to handle the drinking edges of our cups with her unwashed hands. Hoping we could get drinks, in spite of the filth, we went over to the drink area. It was as filthy and disheveled as the rest of the place, and on top of that, there was a huge mountain of ice under the ice dispenser. We found that there was no ice in the ice dispenser (Is it broken? Did a child mess around with it? there were so many questions). We filled our cups and headed out to the patio seating area to enjoy the lovely evening. Out on the patio the seats and tables were covered with sticky food residue, tables were broken (with actual pieces of the table displaced and laying around) and there was evidence that animals (like birds and squirrels) had been on the tables and left their affects behind. We traded chairs out until we found 2 clean ones and picked the cleanest looking table. We waited for our food. While we waited, we noticed the staff kept coming out and conversing with teens at a table beside ours. It appeared that they were all friends and might even be comping food to the folks at the table. They were loud and it seemed like this location is their "friend hangout" spot. We waited and waited. My salad came out - brought by the same person who had taken our money. She placed the dish in front of me and the plate was covered with oily and sticky finger marks all over the "clean" surfaces (the edges of the plate where the food wasn't) and it looked like they had brought my food on a filthy dish. We assumed my husband's food would come soon, but he sat there for an additional 10 minutes. Finally he went in and asked where his food was. They brought out his cold plate (which he said appeared to have been sitting on the pickup area for a while). The food was just ok - I actually felt like we would have had better food, better service and should have just opted for eating at ChickFilA. That paired with a staff that all appeared to be between 16 and 20 with little or no training in sanitary practices, and a general look and feel of "filthy" throughout means we won't be eating here again. Don't go to this location. The ownership and the management clearly has little regard or concern with sanitary practices, as their staff aren't trained in those things. The service is subpar. If you want good chicken, in a clean setting, Zaxbys is better and ChickFilA is best. But please go by this without stopping - its really terrible. read more
