    Chicken Kabob

The food is great! I came with a friend and we both commented on the freshness of the ingredients and the depth in flavor! A couple of things that drove off one star: first, my friend asked for lemon to accompany her water and the server said "we don't have lemons". We were both confused, as surely this is a standard cooking ingredient. Sure enough, lemons came out with both of our entrees. It's dark in there, lol! We couldn't tell if they were still working out wall paint colors or just going for a sexy vibe, but it was a bit jarring upon entry.

My experience here was amazing. I wasn't sure what to expect walking in, but it was worth the gamble. The waitress was so sweet and attentive. I was the only one in the place, so I sat alone in the dining room. The menu has a good variety of options. I chose to get a chicken kabob along side the rosemary chicken platter. I wanted to sample a couple of things. They were both delightful. I'm not a humus person and that came with my rosemary chicken. To me the highlight was the rice. It was excellent. The chicken was moist and tender. Thumbs up! The restaurant was clean and modern. They played music. To me it was a little loud, but that's probably because I was there alone. I'd imagine with the tables full of people it would drown out the sound. One of my pet peeves is ordering food and then they give you a crappy knife that can't cut it. They give you one of the best knives I've ever used in a restaurant. And it was beautifully designed. Wonderful experience and looking to go back again.

My daughter and her family wanted to take me to this place for my birthday. We were greeted with, we don't have a kids menu and we have a dress code . The place was empty. We were shocked as they are located at the end of a strip mall. We decided to go to our known favorite across the street, Los Magueys and enjoyed it very much.

This place is hysterically funny. Located in a strip mall in Paulding County, next to a vape shop and a sandwich shop, and they have their dress code posted on their door. We've been to much finer restaurants with amazing food with no dress code. And don't show up with your well behaved 12 year old or anything because it's "not recommended for 16 and under".

To start... cocktails and martinis with Blue point oysters!!! The crackers! And add the bread with that fabulous butter! Next up, the Duck Confit... a little cassoulet... amazing. Entrees- Dover sole, out of this world and beef Bourgogne like we were in France! The wine was lovely as was the entire experience. Bon Appetite My only note was that they missed wishing us Happy Anniversary.

From what we…read morethought it would be, to what it actually was, the whole experience felt like it was set up to be a scam. We were sat inside, in the way back corner, farthest from the door and, in a 90-minute span, we killed at least 10 fruit flies/gnats between us. It's a nice place too that looks very clean, but they had the front door open the entire time. At first, I was trying to be subtle about it, but about halfway through, I was clapping my hands in the air and wiping bug guts on the white tablecloth. They may have been coming from the window next to me, but it was a little off-putting to say the least. The server did pick up on this, but didn't offer a different table or to at least close the front door. We didn't make a big deal about it, but by the time the wine bottle was open, we were shooing critters off our glasses regularly. Our server, who was clearly not French, kept calling us monsieur and madame and the accent was so forced, it became real cringe real fast. Please stop making the servers pretend they're French. And to be fair, our server was great, none of this was on them, but the fake French posturing HAS to be derided by the staff, so this complaint is for THEM. Unless they are a.) FROM France or b.) fluent IN French, native English is fine and preferred. This is not a place for improv and you wouldn't make an Olive Garden server speak like Mario and Luigi. Maybe our server was into it, but it became extremely painful as the dinner continued to go downhill. For entrees, I ordered the rib-eye (which includes comp refills) and SO ordered the filet. When the filet came out, it smelled loudly like a barnyard. After a few bites from each corner, it was sent back. The smell could only be compared to cow poop, and I honestly can't believe the kitchen sent it out. $64 filet and I wouldn't have given it to a stray dog. No aging on the filet also--just a bad piece of meat they tried to pawn off on a guest. My rib-eye was small (understanding with the whole "free refills" thing) and not steaming hot, but the filet's odor was a bigger problem when the plates hit the table, so I just went with it. SO couldn't/wouldn't order anything else and I don't blame them. The meat was clearly bad, and it resulted in some minor gastro issues the following day, even after just a few bites. The manager did come to the table to apologize and offered a replacement, but SO was uninterested. Going back to my entree, the "frites" that came with my ribeye were a frozen product: those battered/orange fries you get from the drive-thru at Checkers. Gross and disappointing and this is where I felt like I was being scammed. I think they claim somewhere "twice fried in beef tallow" but I know a fast-food-style fry when I taste it/see it. Also, the plate presentation was just the ribeye and fries. No garlic aioli, no ketchup, no parsley, no lemon, no garnish. Chef clearly doesn't know the 3-color rule and considering the size of the cut, it looked like something you'd get at a diner with fried eggs (and the entree has a $59 price tag also). The refill was hotter and closer to medium, and I enjoyed it more than the first one, but I wasn't risking a third helping and didn't want to have to wait anyway with my SO sitting there with nothing in front of them. Ultimately, we grinned through all of it and stayed for dessert. How hard can that be? Well, the creme brûlée was either over-whipped or too eggy. More like a flan. Not awful, but it's didn't help the dinner at that point and it was the only item the SO was interested in after the filet debacle and it was just ok. You'd think the brûlée at a French bistro would knock your socks off, right? It was meh. I followed up with a call to the restaurant and left a message to speak with the manager who touched our table regarding the filet. Not looking for a refund and you couldn't pay me to revisit, but he should know that there were multiple failings that night, not just their attempt to sell spoiled meat.

Cocktails solid, we ordered a couple of appetizers and were underwhelmed. The cold sausage spam like substance was off-putting and we left. This year I'm so glad we came back. Not oversalted/the chef clearly doesn't smoke which I can tell. The broccolini were beautiful - smoky flavor and crisp/not overdone. We arrived 15 minutes before our reservation, but were told our table was already ready, so we were seated. (The restaurant tables are very close together, so be aware that if anyone in your party is wheelchair bound, it may be difficult for them to maneuver around.) The restaurant is kept very warm inside, and I'm usually someone who feels cold easily, but even I was rather hot. A woman brought water glasses and a water carafe to our table and said, "If you want something besides water, just let me know," and then walked off. So, in my mind, that woman was a food assistant or a food runner. Turned out, she was our waitress! She later stopped by, didn't introduce herself and didn't ask if we'd ever been there before, but did ask if we wanted an appetizer. We ordered Potato Pancakes. She also asked if we wanted bread service, so we said yes. We did notice from other conversations at the very close tables near ours, that many of the customers are regulars and have their favorite waitstaff. The manager had stopped by a table to regrettably inform a couple that their favorite waiter was out for 2 weeks. So, that did give us hope that if they have regulars, it must be good. The Potato Pancakes were delicious! (I didn't even stop to snap a picture because we were very hungry!) My husband ordered the "Bier" + Cheese Burger ($16.95), and I ordered the Pork Shank "Schwweinehaxe" ($34). The waitress said she had to check the availability of the Pork Shank, so I told her that if it wasn't available, to put in Chicken Wienerschnitzel. Then she didn't come back to let us know what the kitchen said. My husband flagged her down to find out if the pork shank was available, and she said she'd forgotten to come back, but that it was. He also told her that it was my birthday, so she brought out a cute birthday tea light for the table. The food was absolutely delicious, and for the price point, you can easily see why people are regulars there! The pork shank was enormous! (We ate off of it 2 more times after we took it home. The restaurant gave us extra gravy at no charge, too.) The rosemary mashed potatoes were very good! The presentation was lovely! My husband really enjoyed his burger. Then for dessert, our waitress brought out a slice of tiramisu with a wedge of chocolate cake over it, berries, whipped cream, and a little birthday candle in it. Turned out really wonderful! Will definitely go back to this unique spot!
