Stopped in yesterday, and was quite happy with the food, beer and service! For being a new spot in the neighborhood they have things running really smoothly, though having only been once I can't speak as to the consistency. Also, we went during a slow time, around 3:30 on a Monday. That being said, they reminded me of a pizza version of Stutf, sort of. The menu is a custom order sheet like Stuft, and the ambiance is a bit similar. The 12" pizzas are perfect for one person, and they are a delightfully thin crust, crispy on the edge and chewy in the center, fantastic taste. Someone commented in another review that they didn't like the crust because it was "soggy" in the middle - this is Neapolitan style pizza crust, so it is going to be thinner and a bit wet in the middle of the pie. It's not a bug, it's a feature. :) My custom pizza creation was splendid, everyone at my table agreed it was the best one of our group, feel free to steal it. :) Basil pesto sauce, fresh mozzarella cheese, cotto ham (an Italian style cooked ham, not spicy), roasted tomatoes, sweet peppers and red onions. See photo. The beer menu was good, the bottled selection wasn't super unique or appealing, but it looks like the tap changes pretty frequently and there were some nice ones available. It will take a few more visits for me to confirm the good impression though, and I'm hoping they will broaden their bottle list a bit soon - and add some sour beer options... I think the owners have underestimated the need for family-friendly dining in this area, pretty sure (as others have reviewed) that they thought they were going for more of an old town clientele, thinking those young single craft-beer aficionados were going to be the big draw. And I'm speaking as a young single professional myself. But while we were there a family with toddlers came in, and I can totally see that the demographics of this area are going to be more family-focused and people are starved here for a fun, casual place to eat out as a family -- word to the management, know thy appeal... I think you can strike a balance, if you try, to serve both groups. You have the space to make it work, especially with the summer patio space. They also need more (read, any?) appetizer selections. I'm giving them five stars for now as a great example of a new neighborhood-focused restaurant in an area that really needed one. We shall see if they continue to earn it on repeat visits! read more

First time here, and even after researching and seeing all the negative reviews. I have to say to all the nay-sayers, give it another shot and stop being so picky. This place is actually a hidden gem in Fort Collins, being tucked away off Lemay and Harmony. At first sight, the expansive patio with large, open garage doors was inviting. The wrap-around bar is a very unique and attractive feature. I, for one, don't think they have a small on tap beer selection at all. If you're comparing it to Black Bottle or the like, then you aren't giving this place a fair shot. I like the menu, being paper, and giving you the option to build your own pizza. Granted, it's probably not a good idea to load up on everything on your pizza, as the crust is very thin. But they give some excellent and certainly unique offerings in terms of toppings. Where else can you build a pizza that has a chevre cream base and put smoked duck on a pizza? They still had some standard option, such as a marinara sauce, pepperoni, and mozzarella. But they win in terms of a more delicate palate for pizza. When I was there with my boyfriend, we both chose to have the Blood Orange Gose from Wiley Roots Brewery. Having a beer like that on tap is a very good thing in my mind. We decided to build our own pizza based on combining their Quattro formaggio and smoked duck pizzas. We started with a decent standard Caesar salad; it wasn't something to write home about, but it also was better than most ceasars I've had. And then we finished it with a cast iron chocolate chip cookie. Everything was portioned well, delicious, and didn't leave me wanting something more. My expectations were open. I think the things people could overlook when the kitchen gets busy is that I think it's always a "seat yourself" environment. To the people complaining about the wait to get service, unless someone sat you, you'll be missed for a little bit. Another thing to note is that if you visit Otto and you don't want to sit back and relax, then you're visiting the wrong place. Overall, the prices for portions were appropriate. The beer selection was good. The atmosphere is wonderful. I don't know if I've been more relaxed while dining. And to top it all off our waitress, Katie(!), was a doll. She was attentive, conversational, and so nice! We will absolutely be back! This is, like I said before, a hidden gem. read more

I've been to Otto Pint in the spring, summer and winter. Every time, the pizza was amazing. You can pick from something off the menu or build your own. Thin crust is all they make here but trust me- it's delicious. Topping options are abundant, with shaved duck, cotto, and prosciutto on the menu. I ordered a cheese pizza because that's what my son wanted. We are in town for one night and this disaster was recommended to us. Cheese pizza is hard to mess up, but we got a pile of uncooked cheese and a burnt outer ring with uncooked dough and powder flour in the center. The waitress was super nice so I pretended we ate it, but I would have preferred a frozen pizza straight outta the super market deep freezer to the thing delivered to my table. The waitress was nice enough to only charge us for the 2 cokes we got, so I'll still give the service a high mark. read more

Worst service ever. Restaurant was busy and I asked the bartender if I could order a pizza and take it outside. He said it wasn't a problem. After I waited over 30 minutes and brought my own pizza from the bar outside a lady who stated she was the GM was extremely rude and said I couldn't take it outside, even though multiple people were eating outside. I told her I talked the bartender before I ordered and he said it was ok. She was the most rude person I have ever encountered at a restaurant and said very firmly that I wasn't allowed to take food outside, like I was being scolded like a child. Service was TERRIBLE! It was something out of a sitcom. We stopped in after work for happy hour drinks and apps. Our server (Lauren) could not have been more annoyed by our presence. We laughed it off at first, because everyone at the table was a former server, and bad days are understandable... but it got really out of hand. She charged 3$ to taste a beer... which, fine rules are rules and I understand it is a hassle to pour 2oz tasters. She could not have been more rude about it. She also didn't seem to grasp the concept that she would also be tipped on the 3$ addition to a tab... We were brought the wrong food, and when we politely told the food runner that's not what we ordered (we honestly, just thought we had received someone else's food) The runner was super friendly and said she would look into it right away. Our server returned to the table and said "It is what you ordered, I LITERALLY repeated everything back to you!" She also told us that we should not talk to the food runner because she doesn't know what she's doing and that they were busy and didn't have time for this. So basically, she didn't have time to do her job -- never mind do it correctly? Honestly, the runner seemed to know exactly what she was doing, and provided great service! The server came back to clear dishes and rather than alert anyone that she was there and wanted to clear something, she pushed my arm out of the way and proceeded to clear things. She also leaned right over my coworker's back, pushing her forward onto the table. Haha like, what?!? At that point I asked for a check, and my boss asked for a manager. Love this place on many levels. Great atmosphere, food, service and Sangria. We are new and almost moved in and have a 6 year old. There are games and other kids and parents who can enjoy while the kids interact or play Jenga, corn hole or just be kids. The crowd is upbeat and friendly (99% of the time) we are not totally moved in but have been several times.and have always had a great experience. A special shout out to a fantastic manager and a wonderful server named Tess who helped a rough day turn out great. Kind and compassionate people. Oversalted and overpriced pizza, which gave my husband food poisoning. The beer was fine, but the food poisoning kind of cancels out any "satisfactory" rating the beer might have had. Skip this if you don't want to be suffering for the next 12-24 hours. Edit: I forgot to add that the service wasn't great. It took 30 mins to get our 2 pizzas. I've had a lot of time to dwell on how bad this place is as I nurse my husband while on a 650 mile roadtrip. Make this place special. Revise your website to DELETE everything you are not serving on your menu. It is misleading. Remove the "For bar customers only" cards on the tables. If you want people to eat your food and drink your beer, they need a place to sit. Why should I eat at the bar, when bar folks can eat at my table? Makes no sense at all. Step up the service. It took 15 minutes to order a beer while we were sitting at the bar. Then, I got the wrong beer. I saw lots of unhappy people there. I overheard one customer looking for a suggestion box. Myself and my friends have been to Otto Pint a half a dozen times since it has opened. Fortunately they have a lot of good things going but they also have a few bad things. One of those bad things is what occurred the other evening thus the 2 stars. Pros: Atmosphere - fun outdoor atmosphere Beer - Good variety of beer, though see below Pizza - A bit pricey but good, love to see them trim the price a bit for what you get Cons: Beer List - They have a wide variety of beer though you can't ever figure out what they have. They have a chalk board that shows the beers but it looks like an 8yr old wrote it up. Hard to read. Seems as if it wouldn't be hard to have a few sheets of paper showing the revolving beers they offer, or even have a simple mobile app that would allow patrons to pick their beer. Our waitress didn't have anything for us we had to get up and go across the room to be able to read the board. Management - This is where it gets REAL bad. One of my friends tried their infusion drinks (VERY GOOD, by the way) and got it with Rum. Being a person that likes rum he thought how can this go wrong. Well it wasn't very good, it is actually much better with Vodka not Rum. After 2 sips he decided to inform the waitress that he would like to get the same drink but with Vodka. She said let me check what I can do for you. After consulting with her manager she told him that she could get him one with Vodka but the drink with Rum would still be on our tab. I was SHOCKED. We immediately asked to speak to the manager. He informed us it their policy is no refunds, I was SHOCKED. After all was said and done they ended up taking the drink off the tab (a maximum of $2 cost for them). It was a very embarrassing moment for a busy restaurant as others saw what was happening over a drink that the patron didn't care for. Spent many of dollars in a restaurant and this is the first time ever where I was told no. I hope you decide to revisit your policy and save yourself the embarrassment next time. I will still go back to Otto, though this was just to much not to inform others about certain policies. If you get the cons fixed I will be the first to write a better review. read more

The atmosphere is great and the concept for the entire restaurant is really cool; however, my friends and I had horrible service our first time there the other night. It was Saturday night, and yes, it was busy so we didn't mind that we had to wait a bit for a table - it seemed a bit disorganized as our friend had called ahead to see if they take reservations. The staff person who answered the phone said it was first come, first serve. When we all arrived at the restaurant, this was NOT the case as we had to find the hostess ourselves and get our names in. We finally got sat and ordered some beers. I think it probably took 15-20 min to get our beers. Then we all ordered pizzas (2 Margheritas and 2 Chicken Pestos). No joke, it took almost an entire hour for our food to come out. The waitress apologized, and when we were paying for our meals, a manager (?) came by and apologized as well, but some sort of compensation should've been offered. We arrived at the restaurant around 6:30 pm, and we didn't end up leaving until after 10 pm... read more

Awesome building, decent pizza. Could have lots of potential but....the service was absolutely terrible. Actually, the first thing we noticed after walking in was how smokey it was inside, it's as if the ventilation wasn't working at all. We sat at the bar and the first three beers we asked about on their chalkboard list were sold out. No biggie. The bartender said I'll give you a few minutes to decide, then we weren't acknowledged for another 10 minutes. I'll skip all the lengthy in between stuff but even with us sitting at the bar it took about 10 minutes between each beer for the bartender to notice we had empty glasses. We finally asked for are check, another 15 minutes goes by before she came back with it. I already had my card out and tried to hand it to the bartender as she laid my tab down on the bar top. 5 more minutes goes by before she comes by and grabs my card. I understand the business is new, and kinks are still being worked out, but the staff may need a little more training on the beers that they're serving and on customer service. I'll try again in 6 months (if they're still open) and see if it's any different. read more

Ate here at least once a week during Covid-19-always teak out. We had never been here before the pandemic so we call it our pandemic place! I love the pizza!! I think we've tried all of them. The crust is super thin and crunchy-just light and perfect! BBQ DREW is awesome if you like bbq pizza. Secret amazing menu item is the margarita.
