I can't tell you if Karl is crazy or not but this guy makes a mean pizza! I ordered the South of the Border with pepperoni jalapeños & green chilies and the flavor on this pie was poppin! The crust was so good I wish I could just order that as a side. Cooked to perfection and honestly more flavor than I have seen on any pizza in a long time. Krazy Karl thin crust style pizza rates an "A". But what knocked my taste buds over the Rocky Mtns was their grinders. A grinder is a thin pizza crust folded in half & not closed like a calzone. it contains lots of delicious ingredients. I recommend that you try a grinder. I know I recently reviewed the Rigden Farm location, but our favorite pizza ever was back only at the Campus West spot! Seeing that Music City Hot Chicken was yet again the Pizza of the Week, I immediately placed a call and ordered for pickup. We paid over the phone, loaded the pup into the car and went to sit curbside while we waited for our pizza to be ready. The gentleman came out of the restaurant, suited up with a mask, hat, gloves and emanating delicious aromas of garlic, and served us our pizza through the window of the car, taking an extra second to tell our dog what a good boy he was. We raced home, the smell of the pizza making every inhabitant in the car drool - especially the four-legged one in the back. When we got home, we immediately dove in. The pizza was still piping hot, topped with spicy chicken, crispy bacon, tangy green chiles and cooling cream cheese. At Krazy Karl's Pizza, we ordered Spinach & Meaty Lasagna, The Mile High & whatever the waiter recommended, Krazy Hawaiian, and Thai Specialty & The White. We also ordered drinks. Kudos to the waiter for letting us sample some alcohol! The food was mouth-watering delicious. When you bite into your first slice of pizza, you can feel every taste and aroma within the pizza. There is also a good selection of beer. The customer service was outstanding--our waiter was very attentive, even when it was pretty busy. Would I return to Krazy Karl's Pizza? I waited a long time for my pizza, it was given to some else. But it was totally cool. I chatted with people and the time went by fast. The guy that seemed to be mostly in charge of the take area, Cory, was really awesome. He made sure everyone was looked after and tended to. He gave updates in minutes on when orders would be ready. It was chaos this evening and this man held it DOWN. It all probably would have gone crazy without him there to orchestrate everything. Super professional and really nice person as well. Some of the worst service I have EVER experienced. I ordered an hour and a half earLu and had to call at the 2 hour mark to check on it. I to wait on hold for almost 10 minutes and they hung up on me. then I tried again. Finally got a human being who said that it would be another 30 to 40 minutes. After brewery hopping and hours catching up at our rental house, we were in desperate need of sustenance. Everyone was in the mood for pizza and I took to Yelp to find something that close that was 1) that had a killer menu loaded with everything 2) able to deliver to us and 3) wouldn't take a million years to get here. Let's just say Krazy Karl's nailed it in all three ways! I was able to place our order online, which proved to be easy peasy and the best way to order, as their telephones ring off the hook, especially on a Friday night. Naturally, on a Friday night in a college town, we expected to wait a bit for our pizza, but when the wait said upwards of 2 hours, I was bummed. However, Krazy ass Karl showed up in just under 1 hour with ALL 3 of our pizzas! As the delivery man handed over the delicious pies, I couldn't help but hug him and rejoice, because you know, drunk people. Their menu is out of the world awesome and features alllllllll the Krazy concoctions you could want! We opted to order 1 large Works pizza (essentially a Supreme), and two smaller pizzas (the Double Pepperoni and the Mac'd Up - which was the hit of the night. White Cheddar Cheese sauce base, Mac'n cheese, bacon, light pizza cheese garnished with green onions - UM WUT!! Perfectly salty and delicious without being too heavy! We also settled on an order of wings and a side Caesar salad, which really rounded out the meal. I was far too hungry to snap any pictures (except the morning after we destroyed said pizzas - which Krazy Karl reposted on Instagram - thank you!) but trust me, It's 10/10 recommended. OH, and you can't skip on their spicy ranch. This little cup of deliciousness put the icing on the cake to this outstanding meal, providing the perfect balance of traditional ranch flavor and spicy! Ordered a pizza on a Wednesday night around 5 pm. It was one vegetarian pizza their 14" and it was $20.99. For reference a tombstone frozen pizza is about 14" and it's about $5.00. The pizza was also delivered over 2 hours later. We did not receive the pizza until close to 7:30pm. The store is 10 minutes away. By the time we got the pizza it was cold and I had to put it in the oven to reheat it. This place needs to get it together... Also the owner just responded to me. And told me "why'd you leave out the ice storm? There's always one" . Maybe that would effect it a little but it does not take 2 hours to get down the road . Their pizza is always amazing! I love the 10!dollar pizza of the week and always check to see what it is. It's gotten me to branch out and try things I normally wouldn't. The last time I ordered my bf and I decided to just get 2 smaller pizzas since we didn't want the pizza choice of the week. The delivery driver had a few small pizzas and accidentally gave me the wrong one. Normally I wouldn't mind but I really don't like pepperoni in my pizza (weird I know) so I called and they sent me the pizza I ordered within 20 minutes! They were very friendly and I really appreciated them fixing the mistake! If you have a pizza craving I really recommend this place.
